5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for price

Pros: Very light, great fit. I have had several brain surgerys and can not stand regular over the head type headphones. There has been a lot of complaints of the cord length, I have not had any problems. I use them everyday at the gym and have had no problem with them staying on. Sound is great in a loud setting, don't have to turn the volume up to compensate for the noise. Even after long periods of use, there is no ear fatigue.

Cons: The ear pads wear too easily, but are easy to replace. The thicker ones last a lot longer and are still very comfortable.

Other Thoughts: I will defintely buy more when these wear out.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for this style of headphones

Pros: Great sound *for a supra-aural headset*, sturdy construction, very comfortable to wear for a long stretch. PLENTY of cord length (see "other thoughts"). And I got them on sale for $20 off the regular price! Gotta love NewEgg!

Cons: If I HAVE to find something to be negative about, and this is nitpicking at best, it's that the cord is TOO long. I'd say I have an extra 18" of cord length I could do without. I wear my Storm 2 on a belt clip (yeah, I'm one of THOSE guys) and listen to music on the train and walking to work, and the cord is dangling and swinging around and generally getting in the way sometimes. But really, all I have to do is bundle up the extra with a wire tie.

I can tell the pads will wear out "soon" as well, but that's all too common for any brand, so really no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I really don't understand how anyone could say the cord is too short, unless you're prone to carrying your MP3 player in your sock.

The bass reproduction really isn't that bad, but certainly less than you'll get from decent in- or over-the-ear headphones, and that's no surprise. From an .mp3 file ripped at a high quality and played on a decent media player, I'm quite happy with how these sound. (BTW, I'm realizing as I write this that my music seems to sound better from my phone than my laptop?!?) I'd highly recommend them to anyone interested in *this* type of headset.

5 out of 5 eggs"Bang for the Buck" Incarnate

Pros: All types of music come through with unparalleled clarity at this price range. Distortion occurs at volumes high enough that you should consider speakers rather than headphones. Very lightweight and remain comfortable after prolonged use.

Cons: Although they never sound muddy; every once in a while you will push them against your head and hear some low end that seems to escape.

Other Thoughts: Mine have lasted 2+ years. I take them running, plug em into the practice amp, and even hung them from a review mirror when a buddy's radio broke :D

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Great sound and fits very well on my head. The earphones are very good value for the price. Some complained about the length of the cord, but it seemed fine by me. I worked out with the earphone wire attached to my IPod which was in my back pocket. There was more than enough room to maneuver

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: great headphones.

Cons: A little loud, I always have to put the volume control on the lowest possible setting.

Other Thoughts: I broke them by kneeling to pick up something, and the cord got caught on my knee. the odd part was how it broke, the cord didn't tear out of the headphones, the around-the head part broke off. Makes a nice pair of refrigerator magnets, at least. I am buying a second pair to replace.

5 out of 5 eggsgood stuff

Pros: great sound quality, you almost forget you are wearing them, strong design

Cons: cord is kinda short but it depends on your use, great for running if your mp3 player is on your arm, the cord will go to your pocket too but there isnt as much slack, after long periods of wear they kinda hurt your ears but i havent had a pair of headphones that havent

Other Thoughts: great buy, more expensive than i would like to pay for headphones but i am cheap, the sound can only be as good as your equalizer just a fact of music, newegg always the best for fast shipping, if you have the money these are a good buy, i dont regret it at all

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Sound

Pros: Awesome sound. Best sounding headphones I have ever owned. Very comfortable, they don't make your ear hurt, and you can wear them doing just about anything (and I have pretty much). Very tough, hold up to a lot of abuse.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I did manage to snap my first pair. But I REALLY don't think the average user would break these at all. Mine was ripped from the cord because it got caught on the bars of my bike while i was attempting a tailwhip. Still, VERY strong headphones with amazing sound quality. I would recommend these to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great sound, I spent 2 months going through 3 different sets of headphones, they were all either uncomfortable or stopped working soon (including Sony and Logitech.. well, the logitech was a headset and the mic stopped working)
But I finally found great headphones, but not great enough for me to worry about taking great care of them. I can be rough with these, they're very flexible but durable, and still have really good sound for the average user. And they take hours to get tired of wearing. Never failed me once. I now only recommend Sennheiser stuff to people.

Cons: After 2 years of good service, the foam finally started to wear off. I guess this was inevitable, but it's really sad. I might just end up buying these again if I don't find good replacement pads.

Other Thoughts: It would be cool to have a built-in volume control I guess, but I'm fine without it. And in my experience, the more features headphones get, the more likely one of them is to break, making them useless.

5 out of 5 eggscheap, durable, sounds great

Pros: I've put these headphones through every abuse possible, and they're still delivering great sound.

Cons: They need some software equalization (bass and treble).
