3 out of 5 eggsExpected better from Sennheiser

Pros: Sennheiser is known for high quality products when it comes to audio equipment. The sound on these headphones is good. Not great, not what I'd normally expect from Sennheiser, but good. Decent enough for the sale price that I got them at.

Cons: The design of the product is where they really do themselves a disservice. As others have noted, the headphones are uncomfortable and on the smaller side. Even my kids complain about the size/pressure of the headphones.

Other Thoughts: Don't be cheap like me. Go with a more expensive, higher quality product from Sennheiser.

1 out of 5 eggsThey break fast

Pros: Decent sound and price

Cons: Poorly made

Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these based on Sennheiser's reputation. While the sound was acceptable (not as good as I had expected), all 3 had one channel go out within two months. The wires that lead into each headphone are very thin and apparently break easily. For a while, wiggling one of the wires would get the sound to come back on for a bit. Don't waste your money.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat sound but...

Pros: Very good sound.
The cord is very large, so that mean this is a desktop headphones.

Cons: The are oval, not circular, and the area not cover my ears completely, so press my ears and hurt me, not comfortable to use for long time.

Other Thoughts: Not recommended, you better look for a circular design.

5 out of 5 eggsBest 16 bucks I spent

Pros: I brought it on sale. This is the best $16 bucks I spent. Much better than the $18 headphones I brought at mono price. These actually have some good bass.

Cons: None, so far.

Other Thoughts: This is my first Sennheiser headphones and I'm glad I chose it. I've been skeptical about their product because it was new to me. But I'm glad I gave them a try. Nothing to lose for $16.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth having

Pros: Name
Not cheap-looking

Cons: Nothing special
VERY long wires on BOTH sides - unwieldy and I kept them bunched up when I used these

Other Thoughts: For twenty bucks, you get a pair of headphones that are at par with the money spent. Nothing special. No warmth on the lows, nothing special in the highs. They are just about worth ten-fifteen bucks range and the Sennheiser name stuck on these phones is irrelevant as far as the sound quality goes. Serve well if you need a pair. For all music enthusiasts, this is not a pair you should buy - spend at least 50-60 to get a better quality one

5 out of 5 eggsVery good headphones for the money!

Pros: Terific sound. Good bass. Comfortable, adjustable.

Cons: Earpads can wear (see thoughts below)

Other Thoughts: I've been using these for me, and for the rest of my office for years. When I give someone a pair in the office, quite often they go buy a pair for home as well.

These will play much louder than you should be listening to, and are very good for listening to music - especially from ipods and other devices that don't have equalizers, as they do emphasize high and low ranges, and deemphasize the mid range. If you need flat response across the board, Sennheiser's "studio" or "monitor" headphones are a better choice.

The only nit I can pick is that after a couple of years of use, the cover on one of my ear pads is getting a bit worn.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing Headphones

Pros: They have a great sound stage. When I'm playing games, the feel is hyper-realistic, regardless of graphics settings, as I am truly immersed in whatever sound experience I set these badboys to recreate!

Cons: They are not portable whatsoever, and the actual speakers can easily be detached from the head band. Although you can re-attach them and it doesn't damage the device, I'd love to see ACTUAL portability for these headphones. Also, there's not a lot of padding on the headband, but it's adequate.

Other Thoughts: I love the fact that they come with an adapter, so they're universal. Also, the cord is insanely long.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the money!

Pros: For the price the headset has decent bass and doesn't overdue the high's. I like these the most of the sub $30 headphones I've tried.

Cons: A little uncomfortable for long listening. After about 2 hours it became uncomfortable the way part of my ear was pinched. If you have small ears or are use to a little tighter fit you may not have an issue.

Other Thoughts: Fit my budget and my wants perfectly. I am thrilled, I only gave 4 stars because for a little more at the $50 price point the sound quality and comfort goes up a lot.
