4 out of 5 eggsI like em, great sound

Pros: Sound quality is great. Nothing is really overpowering, everything can just be heard and that's in a wide variety of music.

Love the 9ft cable, now my headphones don't have to be ripped off my head all the time.

Nice case it comes with as well

Cons: They are very tight when you first get em. They need time to open up but still, after and hour you feel some discomfort but easily manage.

Also the 9ft cable, hard to go on a walk with these headphones unless you wrap the cord up and tie it cause you will step on it.

Other Thoughts: Get these on sale and they are a steal. I've watched movies, listened to a bunch of music and just enjoy using them as much as possible. I recommend, higher end Sennheiser are quite a bit better though, Look for sale

4 out of 5 eggsGood sound, tight fit.

Pros: They sound great. As with all speakers and headphones, they need a good breaking in. I chose to break these in for an entire day at moderate volume on my stereo home receiver. I purchased these for $25 free shipping, and they were a steal at this price.

Cons: The band is a tight fit. Like a previous user stated, my head is a 7 1/4", and I cannot wear these phones for any more than about an hour before I start feeling discomfort. I have a set of higher end Sennheisers that I can wear all day with no fatigue.

Other Thoughts: These little phones are super sounding, and I wish for an extra ten bucks or so Sennheiser would invest in a little larger more comfortable band. It would make them well worth a $50 set of cans.

5 out of 5 eggsWork great

Pros: Easy to use. Reduce noise. Tight enough for my head. Can turn one side to relax or listen to other things. Cable is on one side.

Cons: Not the best design for human head. Can't find any others good like these at this price. Can sleep with these on my head, but it's not the good thing.

Other Thoughts: Good to have.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat idea in theory, but flawed in execution

Pros: Sound- so very clear and sublime.
Cushioning- very soft.
Sound blocking- couldn't hear my better half talking to me in the same room at very low volume.
Rotating right cup- goes both forward and backwards.
Weight- very light for long-term listening.

Cons: Headband- too tight (not buying that it is for sound isolation) for not-so-big bald head.
Right Cup- doesn't rotate enough (+- 30 degrees?) and I had to go on Sennheiser's website to see how to wear it (just in front or behind ear for one-ear listening).
Earpads/cups- don't fully cover my average-sized ears and I can't wear them with my readers.
Cable- not detachable and too long to be manageable with a flimsy feel (earbud thin). No cable wrap/take-up is provided like the HD 202.
Build- they feel almost disposable overall.

3 out of 5 eggsPainfully good sound

Pros: Sound is what is expected of Sennheiser. This is my 5th pair of sennys and others in this price range (+/-10) just either feel cheap, or dont sound as good. These sound very good and clear compared to, well, just about anything my wife has been using for her music editing for her students. The rotatable ear cuff was a key selling point. I dont know how often I sit there with one ear cuff on and one on my temple.

Cons: According to the Government of 'Merica. I have what is considered a medium sized head. My helmet issued to me in the marines, medium. 7 1/4" Dress Blues cover. So for an average priced headset to cause me 'Peine forte et dure' when wearing them, its just a bad manufacturing job. The headband can be adjusted, but not enough to keep the pressure from causing my temporal joints to pop like my knuckles do.
Circumaural - HA. Not even close. My ears (I measured them just because of this) have been called alien ears because people think they're small. From the top to the bottom of my dangling, not attached, lobe is only 2 1/8th inches.
For something like this to be considered circumaural is again just bad form by Sennheiser. They need to step up their manufacturing game again or be dethroned as one of the best of headphone manufacturers and fade into obscurity.
To be honest I'd skip past these particular ones and try for something with a larger cup and a wider headband.

4 out of 5 eggsTIght Around Head

Pros: Very good sound quality for the price. Isolating cups which surrounds you with sound, be careful if you have kids you might not hear them calling in the other room. Extra long phono cord, and a carrying case is included.

Cons: It does get tight around the headband, and will start to make your ears feel sore after a few hours. But the tightness dissipates after prolonged use. After I broke them in, they are snug on my head.

The 'dj' label isn't quite accurate. While the right cup does adjust for one ear monitoring, both cans do not swivel, thus preventing monitoring by the right ear only. If you dj monitor with your right ear to beatmatch, this is not the product for you.

Other Thoughts: As long as you are not using this to dj, they are good for casual listening. The swivel headset is only on the right side, and it only folds a little bit. That's the biggest issue I had with this model. It shouldn't be advertised as a dj headset if it doesn't have full functionality.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet cans for the price!

Pros: Great quality for the price. Outside noise is pretty much eliminated (I crank the volume always) Sound doesn't bleed out.. They are comfortable to wear for hours(See other thoughts below).

Cons: There are not any cons. For the price these headphones are sweet!

Other Thoughts: I see people are having comfort issues. Here's some tips...

If ya can't fit em on your big grape(like me)? Get a blow drier and gently heat the crown of the headband. Pull out gently and hold. As it cools it will remain in that shape. It doesn't take alot of heat and it doesn't take alot of push/pull.

Also, I use electrical tape on the wires to reinforce them. I do this with all my headphones. That will insure many years of use w/o worrying about yanking the wires out. My kids are hell on headphones. In full disclosure I have tripped over the wire a couple times have ran the chair over the wire more than a few times as well. If you follow my advice, you'll have some sweet headphones that are comfy and nearly indestructible. If you take a little time and care...You'll barely notice the tape.

Sennheiser is a terrific brand. So no matter what you choose, you'll get a good value and quality on your buy. I have a half dozen pair of different models.

I am a broadcaster/producer and these are solid headphones for any of my needs. I have them on my head for hours and they are fine for that duration. On hot summer days I just take them off a little more often. But you'll sweat no matter what over the ear phones you wear.

I hope this helps someone.

5 out of 5 eggsSennheiser Quality

Pros: -Solid bass
-Good mids
-Clear highs
-Rotatable earcup is useful for wearing public
-Decent noise-isolation

Cons: -A bit tight for the first week, but you get used to it
-Earcups are bit small so after 1-2 hours your ear get a bit sore. If you have big ears I would not recommend these for you.

Other Thoughts: A great starter pair of headphones. Nothing to brag about, but for the cost they are very good.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Painful Sound

Pros: Good quality sound with the lows and highs (just as good as any other over the ear headphones)

Cons: -After using these headphones for about 1-2 hours my ears get really uncomfortable.
-This is due to the ear cups being too small for my ears

Other Thoughts: Talking with some people they seem to disagree about the cups being uncomfortable after a while, this may only be me, or people with big ears (but i don't think i have big ears)
