2 out of 5 eggsLow Quality Headphones

Pros: I would say the only pro is that the mic actually worked while it was still working

Cons: So this is my third review and I am writing another review simply because I am completely disappointed in this headset. I would also like to note that I am unaware of why the people who gave it really good reviews, reviewed it so well??? Anyways, my headset did not make it to three months. This supposedly durable headset broke on me, so the one pro i had regarding the mic does not even work anymore. Also if you like a loud and clear sound, these are not the headphones for you. If you enjoy listening to very low volume then go ahead and pay the fifty dollars that are not worth it when you can find the same quality headphones for ten dollars.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Keen on the Mic

Pros: Wonderful sound. Comfy. Does not make my ears hurt even with long wear.

Cons: The mic boom is worthless. It is simply not long enough to get the mic to the proper position in front of my mouth. If I take the left earphone off of my ear, I can get the mic positioned and it works fine.

In the process of experimenting with some sort of work around, the mic boom BROKE at the end.

I bought this thing SPECIFICALLY to be able to talk in video games. It is has been a complete fail in this regard, and while they will be nice as a stand in until I get another pair, the simple fact is I might just as well have set $50 on fire.

Other Thoughts: I just can't imagine why the mic boom is this short. My head is by no means large. I would say I have very nearly the perfectly average sized head for hats, etc. I have had jobs aplenty where I had a mic boom that worked perfectly fine. It is a real blight on a product that would otherwise have gotten a 4 or 5 from me.

Lesson? I really hate being sold on something that nearly but doesn't quite do what it is supposed to.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job Well

Pros: Not a bad price, soft ear padding, long cable. Ear pads cover the ears but they are not too big. On my previous cheap headset I had to shout, the mic on this seems to pick up everything fairly well.

Cons: None really. A volume control on the headset itself would have been nice but it's not enough to remove an egg.

Other Thoughts: Some people have complained about the volume, but I have no issues here, I don't particularly like loud music or loud anything. I'd like to skip the hearing aid when I get older. This is comfortable with my computer's volume at 44% so I can't imagine why someone would want to hit 100%. Note: If the output on your computer is set for speakers and not headphones there might be an impedance mismatch and it may sound low.

3 out of 5 eggsThey suck

Pros: They do their job.

Cons: Go with something else.

Other Thoughts: last time i did review in cons it posted it wrong. These headphones suck, the reviews are fixed. When i posted my review it made it a 5/5. These headphones have an issue with sound quality, they are waaaaay tooooo looooow.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected

Pros: I guess you can say it does its job. I got them for one reason and it was to play video games and be able to communicate and i guess you can say it accomplished it.

Cons: The reason i gave it 3 out of 5 stars is due to the sound loudness. So i expected to have a really awesome sound quality headset, and well i was disappointed. The reason i got this headset was because it was so highly regarded for sound when i don't see it at all. In fact i think the headset sound is WAAAY tooo low. Another thing to noteis that the headset doesn't have any sound adjuster, so what you get is what you hear.

Other Thoughts: Anyways this is not a horrible headset, but sound loudness is a problem. If you love listening to loud music don't get them.
The headphones do communicate pretty well, i guess you can say.

Pros: Excellent sound quality and good bass.
Comfortable for long use.

Cons: Cord is really long (but I guess for some that is a good thing)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent sound quailty

Pros: This headset is what I have come to expect from Sennheiser - high quality. When I purchased this my expectations weren't very high. I had gone through numerous disappointments with several headsets of various brands (admittedly I wasn't ever willing to spend excessively on a headset) so, based on those experiences, I wasn't expecting what I got. The sound quality is excellent and the fit is comfortable for me.

Cons: The only thing that may be a con for someone (it isn't for me) is the mic. I find it to be very sensitive

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good headphones at a good price. Cord was long, sound quality is crisp and the fit is comfortable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It would be nice to have a volume control on the cable, but it's not a deal breaker.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks can be decieving

Pros: -High quality clear audio, even at max volume. Absolutely zero crackling or loss of audio fidelity.
-It doesn't look like it much, but there is actual bass that comes from these headphones. Took me by surprise and very happy with it!
-I hear the audio clarity is great when speaking into the mike. (Haven't heard it myself yet.)
-Fits comfortably on my head, and I can wear for hours on end with no discomfort, a very big plus!
-Absolutely OUTSTANDING value for the price point.

Cons: -The only cons I can think of aren't cons, so much as wishing for additional features, but I believe for the price, they can't be beat!

-It's corded versus cordless. Personal taste, but sometimes I like to get up and move but not stop my music!

-Looks like cheaper quality then it is, but this isn't a fault to me.

-No volume control on the headphones themselves. Would have been nice, but I'll drive it home again, for this price, it's hard to beat.

Other Thoughts: Very happy with this product, and if this review is still 5 eggs, I haven't encountered any issues. I'll update as time goes on!

5 out of 5 eggsDon't Trip

Pros: These are some kick *** headphones. I was told my mic sounded really awesome while I could use it - unfortunately I tripped over the cord within the first week of use and accidentally snapped the mic cord off at the 3.5 mm jack. It's been like a year but I still use them just as headphones with some chintzy other pair I grabbed from my rents' place around my neck for the mic. My bro is gonna help me splice the mic cord back onto a working 3.5 mm so hopefully it'll be good then.

Cons: The cord is kinda thin BUT ONLY AT THE JACKS. Its a double cord thing that splits at the jack for the mic/headphones. This isn't actually a con but the cord is ****ing long as hell (awesome). It was totes on the ground I was like going to pee or something and WHABLAMM fell on my face over the cord - ripped that sucker right out of the mic jack. Apparently the cord cannot withstand the weight of a scrawny Irish ginger - which is fine considering I bought it for audio and not for mountain climbing/bouldering/loadbearing stuff.

Other Thoughts: The sound quality is great, can totes adjust using he in cord slider np ez.
