3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Long lasting; good cheap quality; when bought was 13 bucks

Cons: not very sturdy, meaning more towards the fragile side. careful where u put it.

Other Thoughts: cant believe within an year this headphone rose price from $13 to $37. thats more than an 100% rise i product cost. insane i would not even think about buying the headphone at that price. under $20 was most realistic value for this headphone

2 out of 5 eggsCheap, you can get better

Pros: These headphones are extremely light weight and they are large and fit over your ears with plenty room to spare. The cord is also extremely long. These are not for portable use, but would work great for people who need headphones at home for pro-longed use. Your ears will not hurt and you will have plenty of freedom to move away from your source. Unlike other complaints, I have found the headphone cable to be pretty solid on my pair.

They were really cheap. I bought these, because I needed headphones quick and did not have the time to properly shop around before spending much more money.

Cons: Audio quality. It is an understatement to say it is bright. It is very bright. It is lacking bass and the upper mids. I'm not just comparing these to overly bass driven headphones, it is not a flat response at all.
When you listen to a band, particularly a drum set, I had a much harder time distinguishing each separate sound compared to other headphones I have used.

I always want to mention, while they are lightweight and won't hurt to wear over long times, the padding is very light and cheap. It doesn't make a seal at all. This will not help isolate outside noise.

Other Thoughts: For comparative purposes. The cheap, use-at-home headphones I had previously were made by Behringer. They were distinctly higher quality than this set.

2 out of 5 eggscable weirdness just past warranty

Pros: Made in Germany. Long cable. Unembarrassing looking.

Cons: The cable near the plug-in went out leaving me with one ear of audio about two months in.

Other Thoughts: Got a great refurb deal on these and enjoyed them for the time they worked.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good headphones

Pros: Sound Quality _ Very good, flat response across entire frequency range. Not base-enhanced. Not tinny. What you hear is what you get.

Comfort _ Excellent. Lightweight. Comfortably padded. I have a fairly large head (hat size 7-5/8) and these adjust very well to my size.

Quality of Materials _ Average. A lot of plastic and vinyl, but that's too be expected in this price range.

Workmanship _ Very good attention to detail.

Durability _ I've owned these for four months so far. They've held up very well and I expect that they'll continue performing for years to come.

Cons: Noise Canceling _ Outside noise is somewhat reduced by the earmuff-style headphone, but not what I would call noise-canceling.

Hi-Fi Quality _ While the sound reproduction is very good for the price point, it falls short of being an audiophile experience to my ear. (Please don't expect these headphones to outperform $100+ headphones.)

Cord Length _ 10-foot cord length could be viewed as a plus or as a minus. For me, 6 feet would have been better.

Plain Appearance _ Nothing especially fancy about these headphones.

Portability _ Doesn't fold up, so they are not particularly portable. But then again, that's not what I purchased these for. I use earbuds to meet my portable needs.

5 out of 5 eggsBest headphones in this price bracket!

Pros: Extremely durable headphones! Bought a pair about 3 years ago, and other than a slight, almost unnoticable rattle on deep bass sounds, worked perfectly for that amount of time. Sound cancelling works very well; when they're on, the music's the only thing I can hear. Been dropped, had the cords stepped on more times than you can count and they still worked beautifully! Bought a pair of the same brand and type after the old ones gave out!

Cons: Almost none really. Aside from the occasional slight rattle on very, very deep bass notes, and the fact that it only lasted 3 years, I guess.

Other Thoughts: Once you first get them, they might feel a little stiff, but once the earpiece lining and foam padding on the inside top break in, they're comfortable as can be.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome headphones

Pros: Love the sound and quality of these headphones. I got them for $11 thru Slickdeals and I do not regret the purchase.

Cons: Docked an egg because the cord is very long. Easy fix if you tie it together.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely love them

Pros: Very comfortable, block most external noises, have very good sound, light weight.

Cons: The wire seems a bit thin, especially for its length, and am worried about how long before it gets an internal break in it.

Other Thoughts: I use these when playing my electric guitar. They are very comfortable, have good sound (so others don't have to hear me), and block external noises (like a couple of teenage daughters bickering). It is so easy to go to my "happy place" when playing.

I found these after trying three other types/brands of headphones, which failed for various reasons like hurting my ears, poor sound, poor isolation from external noises.
