5 out of 5 eggsgreat sound

Pros: Great sound for the price. listen on my macbook and portables
these have better sound than my cheap $100 bose on ear. not as good as my Grado SR 80 headphones. but 1/2 the cost
the bass is deep but can distort on some reggae Dub.
Sound is full on classical. I like the foam open ear for comfort. ears dont get sweaty, and i can hear my kids if they get up at night. the cord is better than the bose, firm and flexible.

Cons: the hard plastic headband is uncomfortable when you lay down or sit back on a chair

5 out of 5 eggsWow! Great sound!

Pros: These are fantastic headphones. I use them at work (desk job) for a wide variety of music on Pandora.

The sound quality is simply amazing. It is astounding to hear certain notes so clearly that you suddenly realize which instrument really played it.

The balance level is consistent across the board from low bass to high treble.

The fit is excellent, as I can wear them for hours at a time.

These are worth it, even at full price.

Cons: Nada

4 out of 5 eggsComfy but quiet

Pros: The ONLY headphones/headset that is a behind the neck that I've ever owned that doesn't hurt my ears after using them for a few hours.

The cable is short, which if you are on a desktop is a huge CON but on a laptop I dislike having a ton of extra cable, it just gets in the way, so this one is perfect.

Cons: These are much quieter than other headphones I have used in the past. I actually installed an audio boosting software so that I can actually hear the audio at a level I like (and I'm not one of those drown out the world with music people either).

The cable seems frail. It feels narrower than most that I am used to, like they used less plastic on the cable. I haven't had an issue with it so far but something to watch out for if you are rough on headphones.

Other Thoughts: If they go on sale again I might get another just as a backup.

5 out of 5 eggsSennheiser Sound

Pros: Excellent sounds quality straight out of the box. I suspect they will get even better as I break them in.

The fit is great and can wear them for hours at a time. They don't slip when jogging, either.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Sound, comfort, build quality

Cons: Nothing really

Other Thoughts: I have been using Klipsch S4's for the past couple of years, mostly mtn biking, and really liked the sound but hated the way they would get yanked out of my ear and leave the tips inserted. Many times I have had to stop and dig the tip out of my ear with a twig. Not good. These sound fantastic and their design offers a very open soundstage, even for a pair so small. I also have the highly regarded Koss Portapros and these leave them in the dust in every way. Very balanced sound all around, highly recommended, even compared to my HD280's.

5 out of 5 eggsexceptional

Pros: exceptional sound quality, light weight, doesn't mess up my hair, easily adjustable ear pieces for different shaped heads. the plug fits in narrow headphone slots common on newer cell phones

Cons: Cannot lay down, or rest your head on anything while wearing these headphones

Other Thoughts: better overall sound quality than my bose headphones, better sound reproduction.

4 out of 5 eggsthe hype has yet to sway me

Pros: -tangle free cord
-the most comfortable on ear headphones you'll likely ever wear. you almost forget you're wearing them
-decent sound for mid-range, on-ear, mobile headphones(especially when compared to the dangerously stupid in-ear headphones that the world insists on ruining their ears with)
-style. these things look sexy as hell compared to many headphones of the same or similar style.
-go ahead and try to shake these babies off of your head. you're gonna have a rough time trying unless you're a small child or something. great for exercising, outdoors, gym, etc.
-non-foldable design feels sturdier than models that aim for maximum portability. the construction feels solid and like it will last many years.

Cons: --my Sony MDR-G74SL 's that ive had for 9 years (same style as these) sound noticeably better thus far.
-bass is decent but not as clear and precise as id hoped. Who wants a lot of bass if it sounds muddy? Ill keep my ears open for awhile and see if i just have to break them in or something.
-price is fairly steep. I paid 70$ for mine.

-sound leakage, although im not sure its as big of a problem as some claim it to be. have you heard them on someone elses head at a decent volume yet to know how loud it is? yes. you will hear them, but of course you will. these are over-ear headphones. plus, you shouldnt be playing music terribly loud anyway!

Other Thoughts: -based on the terrible market for these style of headphones in terms of getting a decent quality for a decent price, these fit the bill, even if they're a bit on the steep side. If you're not too picky, you should be happy with your purchase.
-im a bit unsure about the input jack and how well its made. it looks very slimmed down and as "super-mobile" as possible. it makes me question how easily it can be damaged with normal mobile use and exercise.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I purchased a pair of Sennheiser PMX-60 way back in 2008 and they have been the best overall headphones I've ever owned. They still work great, although I've gone through several pairs of replacement foam earpads (to be expected, and replacements are equal to the original). But, for some reason, the portion of the cable near the headphones has gotten stiff. Also, I want to keep a pair at work and another pair at home. But, alas, Sennheiser discontinued the PMX-60. I've purchased several pairs of similar headphones: Sony MDR-G45 (comfortable but terrible sound) and Philips SHS5200/28 (decent sound but very uncomfortable). Nothing compared to my PMX-60s -- until these PMX-95s! I've only had them for a few days and they are even more comfortable, plus before being fully broken in they promise to sound even better than the wonderful PMX-60s. These compare favorably to full-sized high-end headphones. Based on some of the other reviews I was a little concerned that the bass would be overwhelming, but I find that the sound is well balanced. I agree with other comments - the cable is bewilderingly fabulous! Best I've ever encountered.

Cons: Wish they could be factory broken-in when received, although some might prefer their own break-in routines.

Other Thoughts: Some might not like the behind-the-head style, but it's now my preferred style. I find that over-the-head headphones work well only if you're sitting in a chair and not moving around. Either they slip around, especially when you bend your head down, or they are so tight as to be uncomfortable. The behind-the-head style remain in place without needing to be held tight against the ears because they're partially held in place by the over-the-ear band. These new PMX-95s have a significant design improvement of the earpad being slightly rotatable to adjust to individual ear dimensions. Another benefit of the behind-the-head style is that they can be worn with a hat. The only possible disadvantage that I've found is that sometimes they can be uncomfortable when lying down or leaning back on a headrest, but these have been comfortable for me even in those situations.
Pair with a Sansa Clip (any version) and you will have near-perfect on-the-go audio bliss! (I prefer the Clip Plus) Forget those hyper-expensive fruit music players -- the Sansa Clip is equally good sound quality and a much greater value ... from what you've saved you can buy at least two each of the PMX-95 and Sansa Clip! As you wear yours around you can look at all the bozos with fruit players and feel pity.

5 out of 5 eggsBrought me back to Sennheiser

Pros: Tangle free cord
Enhanced bass
Comfortable earpads
Behind the head
Apparent build quality

Cons: Leaks sound MAJORLY
Bass can be a little overwhelming
3.5mm jack is a L shaped (personal distaste)

Other Thoughts: These headphones reminded me that Sennheiser made some good quality stuff. Right out of the box, the quality was apparent. I thought the foam earpads were the cheap kind that I use on my PortaPro but they are actually amazing; thick and almost like memory foam. The cable is tangle free and slightly translucent, which looks nice.

As for the sound, which is most important for me, these are fantastic. I usually steer towards neutral headphones/IEM, but I got these on an impulse buy as at the time of writing they're somewhat new to the market. The soundstage is nice. The bass is a bit heavy, though clear and rarely muddles anything (aside from low quality tracks). The mids and highs are there with the highs being non fatiguing in the least.

At the time of writing I've only had about maybe 20 hours of playtime on them. I'll make an update if I notice any changes.
