Sennheiser G4ME ZERO Gaming Headset
2 x 3.5mm Connector - Circumaural - Premium Closed Acoustic Headset

Hear every nuance with the Sennheiser G4ME ZERO headset. The G4ME ZERO is the first-ever gaming headset to feature multiple layers of fitted ear padding. This design delivers the ultimate in sound leakage blocking from inside and out, so you can hear every detail of your game while not disturbing others in the proximity. German-engineered speaker technology and a top-notch noise-cancelling microphone deliver outstanding hi-fi performance that lets you focus on the game, not your headset. The microphone can be muted by simply rotating the boom out of the way. Along with the volume control integrated on the right ear cup, you can quickly crank up or down without missing any action.

  • Tailored Ear Pads
The first ever gaming headset to feature multiple layers of fitted ear padding.
  • Sennheiser Transducer Technology
Extreme clarity and accurate, developed at our own labs.
  • Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement
The Sennheiser technology delivers ultimate sonic accuracy and clarity by channeling signals directly into your ears.
  • XXL Ear Pads
Plenty of space around your ears for best fit and comfort.
  • Noise-Canceling Microphone
Professional-grade noise-canceling microphone with intuitive mute function.
  • Closed Design
The closed design blocks out all outside noise allowing you to focus on your game.

Perfectly Adjusted

G4ME™ ZERO features an all new ear pad design, which we have further developed from our professional pilot headsets. Our ear pads are made from thick leatherette and dual-layered memory foam. The base of the ear pads are thicker, to ensure that the headset closes all around the ear. This will prevent sound from escaping and will keep you un-disturbed while playing.

For Immersive Gaming

The combination of new design, padding materials and memory foam to close out any gaps under the ears, ensures that the G4ME™ ZERO is our most quiet gaming headset to date. No outside noise enters the headset and you can rest assured that those around you won't hear your game either.

German Engineered Technology

The two transducers in the G4ME™ ZERO have been developed at our labs in Germany. They are optimized to provide an extremely accurate reproduction of the gaming audio, no matter what type of game you play. Every single unit is mechanically and acoustically tested.

Intuitive Controls

With volume controls integrated onto the right ear cup, your reaction time is cut down as you won't have to spend time searching the cable for the controls. The G4ME™ ZERO also features a convenient microphone mute function too. Simply lift the boom arm and you're off the air.

Collapsable Design and Carry Case

To ensure your headset is not scratched while you bring it to your LAN event, the G4ME™ ZERO features a unique foldable design which allows you to completely fold it up and store it in the supplied hard carry case.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best headset for the money.

Pros: Clean, concise sound. These things are incredible. The Around ear pads are super comfortable, the sound is incredible, its flat in its response, these are audiophile grade cans. Sennheiser has put together a real quality product here. I have been looking at this set for years, never had the nerve to pull the trigger at nearly $300.... finally they dropped a bit in price and I went for it. I'm never looking back, I also purchased a Fiios E6 portable Amp, and am in heaven. These things ROCK. Give Snarky Puppy - Lingus a listen at 1080p on youtube with these babies and you will see where I'm coming from.

Cons: Have not figured a way to wear them to bed yet...... yet.

Other Thoughts: Incredible. Clean. Cool. NO CREAKING!!!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing headset

Pros: comfortable
long cord
slick looking
volume control on earcuff
almost 100% noise cancelling (can't hear people talking next to me when I'm wearing)

Cons: literally haven't found any yet

Other Thoughts: Used this for gaming, mainly counter strike global offensive (cs:go). I'm almost entirely deaf in one ear, so choosing the proper headset is really tough for me. The noise cancelling on these is so effective, I literally can't hear somebody talking to me even if they are right over my shoulder. Great audio quality too, the bass in these kicks the snot out of my old PC350's I'm coming from.

Nothing bad to say about these, wasn't sure if they warranted the hefty price tag, but I can honestly say this headset is perfect for me.

5 out of 5 eggsSennheiser g4me zero review

Pros: Great sound quality

Great Microphone quality

Easy to mute flip-up microphone

Comfortable and adjustable

Very long cable, which is a big plus

Easy to clean/care for

After getting a soundcard they produced sound properly, I turned off any special soundcard 'effects' and put a flat equalizer and the headphones produced great quality afterwards

Cons: Requires a sound card, if not used with a soundcard the headphones will always sound 'weak'.

The volume adjustment on the headset itself is a very small range, meaning all your volume adjustment must be done via your soundcard itself.. Takes a while to get a perfect volume - Wish the on-headset adjustment made it way louder like other headsets but I'm not big in the audio knowledge so maybe there is a reason for this limiting factor."

Extremely expensive, it's a good product for sure.. but the price doesn't feel just.

Other Thoughts: I should of gotten the open-ear edition, closed ear is great for the gaming I do. But the fact is the frequency range is worse on closed ear and positional audio is much better on open-ear.

I contacted sennheiser to see if I could replace the closed ear edition with the open-ear edition and they did not agree which upset me because it's under warranty and working fine, I could of even shipped back in the original box which I still have.

Be careful adjusting equalizer bands, raising a frequency by even a small amount can produce an unheard pitch which will cause ear pain and headaches.

If you want to use the 'crystalizer' use it on a low setting like 23% and if you do use crystalizer you must set windows speaker configuration to disable 'high range speakers' because it will give you headaches. High range speakers allows very low and very high frequencies to go through to your headphones instead of 'filtering' them out.

To use those and not get a headache, you must disable the crystalizer entirely in my experience. I currently disabled crystalizer entirely and just use the high range speaker setting via windows speaker configuration. You can configure this in playback devices. I also use stereo mode for these headphones.

Hope this info helps, enjoy.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Headphones

Pros: Hands down the best headphones I've ever owned. Great quality of sound, nice and loud, and the noise cancelling is top notch.

These are also extremely comfortable - most other sets I've owned have a tenancy to dig into the top of my head or crush my ears. These fit nicely and with the large ear cups you forget you're wearing them.

Cons: The only con I can see with these is you will most likely need an amp to get the best quality from this headset. They still function perfectly fine when using my on-board sound card (sound quality is great) although they are a tad on the quiet side.

Other Thoughts: Overall great buy. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a solid set of headphones for gaming or music.

5 out of 5 eggsJust get them!

Pros: Simply amazing headphones for music and gaming.
I take mine to work to listen to music and pod-casts and have it at home for BF4.
They have a 2 year warranty which I just used. A screw came out which they said they never seen happen. I sent them in for free and they sent me a new pair with in a week no charge.
I used to use turtle beach but they would break in the SAME exact spot every version.
The Sennheiser is 100% quality and a great company to deal with.
I looked at Razors which a really good but they can't beat the comfort of these and or the sound.

Cons: Small con due to the noise canciling. I talk louder because I can't hear myself lol. BUT I can't hear my girlfriend on the phone or my boss calling for me... MAJOR PLUS LOL

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - High quality mic and sound.
- Extremely comfortable after you break it in (first couple months have the 'sennheiser clamp' which can cause a headache, but after that it's pretty much form fitted to your head. The foam used in the headband and ear-pads is very soft, which is good for someone like me who wears headsets for 3+ hour increments.

Cons: The cost. Even on sale this puppy will be expensive, so definitely don't get it if you're looking for something on a low budget. Personally though, the cost is more than worth the quality.

Other Thoughts: Sennheiser's sound quality is always amazing, and this headset is a lot sturdier than some of their lower end products. My last sennheiser was the pc230 and the mic broke after I accidentally left it in my chair and sat on it for half a second...

2 out of 5 eggsfor 220 idk if there worth it

Pros: comfort sound the braided wire the headphone is great itself sound quality is really good i can hear them and they dont even have to be near me

Cons: how it's made is not first couple weeks screws feel out the sides so now the headphone cups don't stay connected to the headphones there pretty much hanging there by a wire i opened them 4 days ago that's ridiculous for 220$ on sale would think they would make them alot better for that much money now i can't even use my 220$ paperweights cause the screws gone along with the bracket to hold the headphone cup to the headphones at the joint point were they can fold in and click for storage stupidity

Other Thoughts: i bought them 3 months ago and didn't open them till Christmas cause i was told to order something i want for Christmas and i choose these i open them up and there barely put together with the screws missing and the headphone cup not even connecting to the headphone but just sitting there makes me mad that i can't even refund or get a replacement from newegg cause it's been past there 30 day mark to get anything or any help sad i really wish these headphones worked they look so cool and the sound is great. overall it's a good sound but bad quality or maybe i got a really bad one out of the bunch of being messed up missing screws and coming apart when u take it out the box

2 out of 5 eggsSound Quailty good headset build not good

Pros: Great Sound quality if you have a good sound card.

Cons: The metal inside the headset that allows the speakers to swivel is made of poor quality metal and plastic from what I see. Today I found my headset had something wrong with it and found that the screws holding the clip to the metal on the left speaker came out. Luckily all I had to do was screw in piece again. But from what I see underneath the plastic is alot of metal shavings. I've only used the headset for a month hour or 2 a day everyday and Its already starting to fall apart. I will be contacting Sennheiser for a replacement. Its great as soon as the 30 day warranty is up this happens. Maybe after reading this newegg will replace this product.

Other Thoughts: Sennheiser is supposed to give us German engineered high quality products but so far these expectations haven't been met .I feel like I would have been better off purchasing a 80 dollar headset at this point. Since the metal is shaving in the swivel area that means that they didn't do proper testing of the product before it was released. Unless I have a defective unit. I will see how they take care of this issue and I will update my review till this is taken care of properly.
