4 out of 5 eggsGood not great

Pros: Sound is good, Music sounds really good but its a gaming headset, has 40mm driver, good on comfort, doesn't make my ears hurt or sweat. Quality is high. Overall happy with the set

Cons: Over priced for this set, replaced Steel Siberia 2 head set and all the people i play using mumble @ 96kbs couldn't tell the difference. Music i can hear a slight difference but overall not better than Siberia 2 which costs around $99. keep the extra $80 to $100 and buy games instead

5 out of 5 eggsBest Headset!

Pros: The audio quality of these headsets are amazing. Very comfortable and somewhat noise canceling. I can still hear sounds outside of the headset but not by much. The mic noise canceling is amazing from what Ive been told. I've had a vacuum run in the background and people on Voice Comms tell me that they can hardly hear it.

Cons: The mic does sound a bit muffled at times and depending on placement, can make you sound either extremely far away and even more muffled. Some of the logitech headsets i've had almost have a better sounding mic than the Game One.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I love the Game One's. Do I think it is worth the original 189$ i paid for it. I think it might be worth $150 and no more. The build quality is amazing and so is the audio quality. I think that also depending on what sound card you are using will determine your audio output for your mic.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Headset For My Needs

Pros: Overall design is sturdy.
Velvet ear pads are very soft and comfortable, allowing ears to stay dry after extended use.
Both ear pieces can be adjusted up to 18 notches (57mm) from the headband.
Mic arm is sturdy, easy to adjust yet stays firmly in place where you set it, and has a wide, 135 degree rotation.
Volume wheel is easy to reach and rotate.
Cord is very long. Almost too long. What am I going to do with all this cord?!
Speaker quality is perfect, having just the right amount of bass and treble to make every song, conversation and movie pleasurable.
Mic quality is just as amazing as the speaker quality, being very crisp and clear while capturing very little "fuzz" noise.

Cons: A little tight during the first weak of wear, but better tight than loose.
Price. This headset cost me $266 after shipping and taxes, but from what I've gathered after a month of use, it was well worth it.
Both aren't things to lose an egg over though.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset because I wanted a durable headset with a high quality mic and speakers that would allow me to listen to music and other people at the same time without having to take it off, and it allows me to do just that.

The open ears make it very easy to pick up sound from other sources. How easy? With music playing at 25% volume I am able to barely hear my friends from 30 feet away, and it completely blocks everything else out at around 80%. If you don't want to hear outside sources that clearly, I'd suggest putting in the extra $40 for the G4ME ZERO.

If you wear glasses, your head will start to hurt within 2 hours of first use. I've used this headset daily, and after a month it's now gotten loose enough that I'm able to wear it for up to 6 hours at a time without head pain.

While talking to others or listening to a recording of yourself, you may hear that the mic picks up very faint "fuzz" noise. This isn't a problem with the mic, just that you have your microphone level up too high. To set it lower in Windows, open the Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, click Sound, click the Recording tab at the top, select the microphone for your headset and click Properties, click the Levels tab at the top and lower the slider. I have mine set at 24 with a mic boost of 0, and my friends on Skype say they don't hear any fuzz anymore but I'm just as loud and clear (my Skype volume is at 65%).

Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and owner of this headset.

5 out of 5 eggsComfortable / Clear / Great

Pros: These headphones provide excellent quality in games, music, and the microphone is spectacular.

-The cushions on the headset are outstanding, it comfortably sits over the ear instead of on it, and I could wear it constantly for hours and not even realize it was on my head.

-There is volume control on one of the ears for quick access, the mic is very sturdy (not flimsy like most headsets), and the cords have a very good distance to them.

Cons: Nada

Other Thoughts: I will remember SENNHEISER for future headset purchases.

4 out of 5 eggsStill awesome :D

Pros: Still just as amazing as my previous review. This is more of an update concerning a minor design flaw after extremely heavy use.

Cons: Microphone boom.. Well, after about 7 months of HEAVY daily use and multiple drops, I've finally seen the first bit of "well 'darn'."

The microphone boom is no longer holding it's position.. It'll slowly fall down, self-enabling and eventually resting near my collar bone.

I just completed a 45 minute dis- and re-assembly to tighten the screws securing the boom to the left ear-cup.. This is where the egg-drop comes in and the only con I've yet to stumble across.

They use 2x roughly 2mm screws to secure the boom through a sheet-metal plate to the inside of the ear-cup. This is EXCEEDINGLY pathetic. A moving part is secured by 2x 2mm screws into flimsy plastic. Really should have a MUCH more durable form of attachment.. Maybe a sister-plate on the inside of the boom itself for the screws to screw in to, rather than directly into the thin-plastic boom :(

Other Thoughts: Softened the (boom) plastic in the oven, melted some other plastic in a water-heated pot, dripped in some super-glue and proceeded to fill the ENTIRE BOOM CAVITY with my plasti-glue concoction. I then gingerly drilled and tapped new threads- Microphone boom is back to being firm and solid.

Though, I think this is well beyond the capability of the average consumer. (Not to mention having an abysmally small tap & die set, lol)

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Awesome sound quality!
Comfortable
Very good bass for a headset
light weight and good build quality
Check other thoughts

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Been buying $80 headset for years. But for Christmas this year I ordered he Game one headset since I use my headset all the time. Running the Game one on the on board sounds until I get the sound card I ordered to push them. Even plugged into the MB this headset is night and day to any I have ever owned. They actually have some BASS!! << not distorted or over powering just a perfect amount!! Can't wait for the sound card

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Really does have great clean clear sound. Ear cups are very confortable. Base is there, without the pressure, so it does not hurt my ears. I definitely recommend this headset.

As usual Newegg was fast delivery it.

Now to set up my new Sound Blaster Z card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: It is a tiny bit tight on the head but I expect it to losen up in a week or so. I had this set a month ago, that I purchased elsewhere, and returned it because of the poor midrange response. However this unit seems perfect. This headset is expensive but if it lasts a few years it will have been worth getting it.
