5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Awesome sound quality!
Comfortable
Very good bass for a headset
light weight and good build quality
Check other thoughts

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Been buying $80 headset for years. But for Christmas this year I ordered he Game one headset since I use my headset all the time. Running the Game one on the on board sounds until I get the sound card I ordered to push them. Even plugged into the MB this headset is night and day to any I have ever owned. They actually have some BASS!! << not distorted or over powering just a perfect amount!! Can't wait for the sound card

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Really does have great clean clear sound. Ear cups are very confortable. Base is there, without the pressure, so it does not hurt my ears. I definitely recommend this headset.

As usual Newegg was fast delivery it.

Now to set up my new Sound Blaster Z card.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: It is a tiny bit tight on the head but I expect it to losen up in a week or so. I had this set a month ago, that I purchased elsewhere, and returned it because of the poor midrange response. However this unit seems perfect. This headset is expensive but if it lasts a few years it will have been worth getting it.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: - Great sound quality
- Fairly rugged design
- Tight, comfortable fit; it doesn't slip while worn but it isn't too tight
- Shoelace style cord is great for people who frequently run it over with their chair.
- Volume adjust on the side is a really nice touch
- Mic seems built well and is really good for your average mic user.
- 2-year warranty is awesome

Cons: Cord is so long it sits on the floor and I run it over sometimes.

Other Thoughts: It's worth the money. I've had so many different headsets over the years (<$80) that have lasted at most a year. I've finally decided to spend the money and while it has only been a few months I can clearly see a difference in quality and this headset will last. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on the improvement of my mic quality. I upgraded from a Razor carachas headset.

5 out of 5 eggsG4ME One

Pros: Decent sound quality and power if you have the proper AMP or even an onboard AMP solution.

Awesome mic.

One of the best solution for headphone with integrated mic at that price range (Purchased it at 219$)

Cons: None so far, except that 2 of my friend on skype kept saying my mic was way too loud, but very clear as well.
This is most likely some settings I have to go trough

Other Thoughts: Low impedance. This thing does not necessarily requires a discrete sound card. Although I would recommend having a decent onboard solution with seperated PCB and onboard 600ohm headphone AMP as a minimum requirement (See motherboard Z97 Extreme9 or Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming G1 audio spec. for reference. Mine is the Extreme9 and I'm quite impressed and satisfied so far.)

At that price range, still good for audiophile if coupled with a decent discrete audio card with decent AMP. Beyond that price range, you're going to pay quite a good amount of cash for better quality (Headphone, mounted mic, add on card and AMP)

5 out of 5 eggsSennheiser G4ME ONE

Pros: Build quality, and I can't stress this enough, is leaps and bounds beyond anything else I've used.

I went from a GameCom (777) Virtual Surround headset to these and while the audio quality (fidelity, etc) isn't the mind-blowing increase some would have you believe, there is a definite improvement.

These phones produce a good range across the board, get very loud before clipping and are incredibly comfortable to wear.. even after a 10-12 hour coding bender while listening to tunes.

Cons: If you're like me and like your music loud, you will hear some crackling (clipping) in the lower frequency range and the plush earpads like to collect things like cat hair.

Also, they're not as 'cool' on the ears as you might think-- Though they are a hell of a lot cooler vs closed systems.

Neither of these are significant enough to warrant dropping an egg though.

Other Thoughts: Cable length.. crazy long wire.

Volume control isn't 0-100% like you'd expect, it's more 25%-100%.

Thinking about it, the clipping could actually be my own fault as I'm using an RCA 7.1 home theater system to power them lol

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best Headphones ever

Pros: These headphones, when paired with a soundcard or DAC+Amp combo, have THE BEST sound quality for this low of a price. I was absolutely blown away when I heard these for the first time. The Microphone is amazing, people gave me compliments on my previous mic, and this one is three times as clear. Sennheiser is known globally for its superior audio products, and they cut no corners whatsoever with this beautiful headset. It is very durable, after 3 months of use it is still in perfect condition, with no scratches from dropping it 3 times, or sliding it on my desk or anything. They are the most comfortable headset I have ever worn, and the ear cushions feel sooooo nice. If you are spending any more than $50 for a headset, I recommend saving up and buying these, they are worth the investment.

Cons: I didn't buy these sooner!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Headset for gaming!

Pros: -Amazing sound quality that is accurate.
-Amazing build and design (Black and Red).
-Amazing quality Mic (A lot of "wow your mic is clear!" comments when I used in vent and ts3)

Cons: Price (but that isn't a con for me.)

Other Thoughts: I love these headsets and I've done a lot of research on em they are amazzzing!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Sennheiser quality, no need to elaborate. Black. Finally. I've been scouting Newegg waiting to see these new black ones available. No thanks on the white. Great price point, I got them at $219. Open design so my ears can breathe and I can listen to make sure the kids don't need regulating. If you prefer closed design you want the G4ME ZERO.

Cons: Initially tight on head. Many reviews of Sennheiser products report this, and many reviews report it breaks in with a few weeks of use.

Other Thoughts: Sennheiser is taking some flak for putting out such an expensive gaming headset. I guess I'm a rare breed that demands high quality audio from my sound equipment because I'll gladly pay the price for these.

I've been shopping for Sennheiser cans for PC use for some time. I initially bought HD558 only to realize I really wanted the convenience of a volume control. These appear to be the exact same drivers with an added volume control and a fantastic quality microphone. So long old mic.

If you were ticked like me that you missed the boat on affordable PC360s then fret no more. These appear to be a direct replacement and at a nice cost.

If you want the option of plugging into USB look at PC363D. It comes with an optional USB device. You'll pay a good chunk more money though.
