5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a Gaming Headset

Pros: 1) Far as gaming headsets go the quality is there. Sound is clean. Bear in mind this also depends on the quality of your computer audio as well.

2) Mic quality is good. I've always had problems with previous gaming headsets having strange audio with mics. This one puts my voice through nice and clear.

3) Comfortable. I can wear these all day and not have any discomfort at all.

4) Mute. I cannot tell you how convenient it is in a high traffic house to be able to just flip the mic up to mute myself. Before I'd have to fumble for a mute button on the cord of headset itself and hope whoever I was talking to didn't hear whatever loud noises went on behind me. With this I just flip the mic up and no worries.

Cons: 1) Price. Goes without saying...this is one of the most expensive headsets out there.

Other Thoughts: Now to go back to my first line as far as gaming headsets go this one is the king. Sennheiser has great quality behind their name and it shows in this headset. You are not going to get the "audiophile" grade sound from these things (The sound is still great), but that's not what you're paying for here. Like with any headset you're getting voice and sound through the same device and, as far as that goes, this is a great product.

5 out of 5 eggsBest headset I've ever owned

Pros: Best headset I've ever owned. I'm not new to expensive headsets. I've had a good past experience with this manufacturer, so bought a new one from them when I thought my last one died. (I was mistaken, it's still works fine. Was a soundcard issue.) This is the first headset I've used that doesn't become uncomfortable after it's been on for hours, and it has great sound quality!

Great sound quality, comfortable over long time periods, well designed, cooler temperature.

Cons: Can be a little hot, but NOTHING like usual headsets. Hard to hear others in the room with you. You can hear them, but you have to take it off if you want to carefully listen to them even though it's open air. Isolates you from the outside world! (That can be a con, right?)

Other Thoughts: Wonderful headset! I'm tempted to buy and extra in case mine breaks in 5 years.

1 out of 5 eggsGet diffrent Sennheiser Set, don't cheat yourself

Pros: Good mic.
Comfortable. Physical switch in headset for mic.

Cons: -Music with these headphones is a no go quality wise.
-Soulds like a $50 set of cans.
-Sound quality is FAR below the HD598s I just got (around $150 new) and the HD 380 pros I have had since 2009.
-Not as comfortable as 380 Pros or HD598s, somewhat small around the ear.
-Keep in mind the price for those two sets is below these by a lot depending on vendor.

Other Thoughts: Any headphones with "gaming" in the name seem to be bad in general for anything other than gaming.
I love Sennheiser and the two sets of phones I have from them but I sent this pair straight back. Get a good non-gaming set and a quality dedicated mic if you truly want quality sound.

If your old Sennheiser set is broken or beat up its about $50 to get them fixed directly from them. The brand is awesome just not this set.

1 out of 5 eggsSound like trash for the price

Pros: Decent mic quality, physical mute switch when boom mic is upward. They look great ,SENNHEISER is usually an amazing brand when it comes to headphones.

Cons: Sub-par audio quality, these are blown away in all areas by my worn pair of SENNHEISER HD 380 pros. There is a chance that they could be defective... Gaming generally sounds "OK" music can be a lot better for the price, voice quality is alright, could be better again. 3.5mm connector(s) does not detach from headset.

Other Thoughts: Going to get a separate mic go with a different non-gaming set of
SENNHEISER headphones. They generally make great headphones, but I was disappointed by these.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding.

Pros: The headset has intuitive controls. The sound is audiophile grade, and the best pair of a gaming headset I have ever had. I've used the Turtlebeach Earforce PX51, PX21, X12, Razer Kraken Pro, and nothing comes close. The microphone picks up my voice crystal clear (I have a deep voice) and the overall headset quality is outstanding. I could even use these headphones for my iPad and they worked like a charm.

Comfort- Extremely comfortable. I wear glasses and I have no clamping issues at all. The headset ear ups are also open meaning they allow for air to go through cooling your ears, and more importantly, creating that natural sound.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsWell-built, good service

Pros: I'm not an audiophile but it sounds great to me. Bass is full and rich. The mic is excellent, and the mic swivel arm is very stiff - won't wear out and start falling down on its own.

There was a break-in period of maybe a day or so where it pinched the top of my ears, but now I can wear it all day with no discomfort, and I have a large head.

Cons: Less than two months after purchasing it, I managed to blow out the bass in one of the phones. I was surprised and disappointed, given Sennheiser's reputation, but I am treating this as my fault, as I was using Razer Surround to boost the volume beyond the normal max. I RMAd the headset and received a brand new one in about two weeks. Very impressed with the service and all in all I can't complain. Things break, and they fixed it ASAP.

Other Thoughts: Expensive but high quality and solid support.

4 out of 5 eggsGood not great

Pros: Sound is good, Music sounds really good but its a gaming headset, has 40mm driver, good on comfort, doesn't make my ears hurt or sweat. Quality is high. Overall happy with the set

Cons: Over priced for this set, replaced Steel Siberia 2 head set and all the people i play using mumble @ 96kbs couldn't tell the difference. Music i can hear a slight difference but overall not better than Siberia 2 which costs around $99. keep the extra $80 to $100 and buy games instead

5 out of 5 eggsBest Headset!

Pros: The audio quality of these headsets are amazing. Very comfortable and somewhat noise canceling. I can still hear sounds outside of the headset but not by much. The mic noise canceling is amazing from what Ive been told. I've had a vacuum run in the background and people on Voice Comms tell me that they can hardly hear it.

Cons: The mic does sound a bit muffled at times and depending on placement, can make you sound either extremely far away and even more muffled. Some of the logitech headsets i've had almost have a better sounding mic than the Game One.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I love the Game One's. Do I think it is worth the original 189$ i paid for it. I think it might be worth $150 and no more. The build quality is amazing and so is the audio quality. I think that also depending on what sound card you are using will determine your audio output for your mic.
