3 out of 5 eggsNot Build To Last

Pros: Works great when they're working.

Cons: I bought three of these.
Even with light use, the wires inside the cable end up breaking after a year or two.
The ear pads are ridiculously non-durable. Time and air alone appear to make them fall apart.

2 out of 5 eggsBad, but I guess worth the value

Pros: Let's see, I actually can't think of any except for it looks good.

Cons: 1. Uncomfortable, the design makes the tip of your ears hurt after an hour, and this was said by others too so it is not only me
2. Sound Quality is mediocre, it has a muffled sound
3. Microphone is bad, the people I talk to says it is muffled no matter what settings I change.
4. Microphone capture is bad. The turn the mic capture volume all the way up and it still doesn't work.
5. Bad quality. The mic looks like it is about to break. Cheap plastic.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this. Go buy another one, seriously!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat simple headset

Pros: Great, cheap headset that works perfectly as designed. The cord is long enough for you to screw around your computer without worrying about getting tied down.

Cons: For some reason I keep somehow hitting the switch in the cord to mute the mic. A little annoying, but otherwise not a problem.

Other Thoughts: If you need a good, cheap headset, you should definitely check this out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound Quality

Pros: Remarkably good sound quality for such a low price. The headphones are 8/10 for audiophile sound quality, and the mic sound quality is 6/10, which is impressive at this price point.

The headset fits very well, even over my elephant ears, and the rear band should be large enough for any sized person.

Cons: The clip on the volume control is awkward to attach to your collar/lapel, it's just too tight to get on easily

Other Thoughts: Figuring out which side of the mic should be pointed towards me took a few minutes - the red dot (that is slightly hidden by the mic cover) should face you.

3 out of 5 eggsGood... for the money.

Pros: Good quality speakers
Effective and well-positioned mic
Lightweight and unnoticeable
Volume control can be useful

Cons: Gets extremely uncomfortable after about an hour - the tips of my ears are pinched between the speaker and the headband
The mic toggle on/off on the volume dongle doesn't work (the mic is always on)
Incompatible with OS X

Other Thoughts: I see no reason why it should be incompatible with OS X - it's not even USB, it's analog. That's not a dealbreaker, though, since it works on my Windows partition just fine.

The pain (and yes, sometimes it's bad enough that I would call it painful) can be distracting; sometimes I take off the headset and play without it for a couple minutes to give my ears a rest. But most of the time it's doable, and I'm usually involved in the game enough to ignore it.

4 out of 5 eggsA good headset for the price

Pros: Good sound quality. Nice and loud microphone.

Cons: Might break over time because the plastic can only hold up for so long. It's durable for the money, but could be better.

4 out of 5 eggsGood value...

Pros: Durable. Clear sound. Good price on a brand I trust. I can't complain, I got these when they were on sale.

Cons: None so far, they do what they're supposed to.

Other Thoughts: It's Logitech, man! But seriously, I haven't had many headsets, but this one seems okay for something to get the job done until I can set my 5.1 up again.

5 out of 5 eggsBest for the money

Pros: Bought it for 13 bucks, and everything works. Great quality sound, of course you can make anything sound better if you have the right sound card/drivers.

Mic does it's job, not amazing quality, but it's definitely good enough.

Cons: None unless your ears are too big.

Other Thoughts: Uncomfortable to wear for the first few days, then i got used to it. Extended wear made my ears a bit sore, so i just trimmed the plastic a bit with a pocket knife.

1 out of 5 eggsGood quality for price, but painfull.

Pros: Good quality for the price. mic output is good, sound quality isn't but, for the price its good.

Cons: It hurts my ears a lot. If your going to game for over an hour at any time, these will hurt your ears. The hard plastic which goes behind your ears digs in over time, leaving you with deep red gashes behind each ear. Honestly, in the beginning when I got them I thought they were great. Now I simply hate them.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst was DOA, second works fine~

Pros: Good quality, fast shipping through the Egg, comfortable and does not take up USB (Jacks used insted, pink/black jack types). Newegg was quick with the RMA.

Cons: As most mics they are not too friendly too deep voices, cable is long which is a con if on a laptop, though good if your on a desktop that is on the floor. Small so its more likly to take damage during shipping, but these worked fine after the second pair, the first pair was a DOA. Warning, Logitechs quality is kinda iffy at times.

Other Thoughts: Logitech is a good brand overall, but quality is sometimes iffy.
