4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse!!

Pros: Works well. Smooth rolling of the ball and accurate tracking.

Cons: No scroll wheel or middle button, but that is stated in the description and obvious in the picture.

The only con really worth commenting on is that the Marble(Trackball) will fall out if the mouse tilted sideways of up-side-down. This isn't a problem during use, but be wary when carrying the mouse lest you drop the ball(excuse the bad pun)

Other Thoughts: This is a simple and well designed mouse that any trackball user will love.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for a basic TrackBall

Pros: Easy to clean. Accurate. First trackball I have owned so it took getting used to, but I like it because it doesn't need space like a mouse.

Cons: The feet don't grip great, so it slides around a bit.

Other Thoughts: It is great for what it is. Basic so requires use of side scrollbars on the screen, but small effort since not needing space required for moving a mouse around.

5 out of 5 eggsBEst trackball

Pros: This isn't my first one. I have one on every computer I have, and a floater for my laptop. These are a quality product that lasts for ever. My oldest one is over 6 years old! I love that they are perfect for tight spaces compared to a mouse. Trackballs allow you to get around a large display so much quicker the a mouse. There are a great productivity tool! The scroll wheel works perfectly as well.

Cons: I don't have any. I'm very satisfied with it!!

Other Thoughts: Kensington make the best trackballs on the market!!

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Trackball

Cons: Price

Other Thoughts: The price is quite high, considering that you could probably get a "better" mouse at that range. I did buy this for the trackball feature so I'm very pleased. If you are considering something with this feature, I heavily suggest you try it out before buying.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing budget trackball

Pros: Smooth, quick tracking. Good fit. Durable construction. If you like trackballs, this is probably the best mouse for $25. You can find them for less than that if you're willing to look.

Cons: Some people cant handle using the scroll bar on-screen, but after a while it becomes quick and natural. I never really want for a scroll wheel.

Other Thoughts: This trackball has been my main device for more than a year. Would buy again. Over and over again.

5 out of 5 eggsSo easy, precise

Pros: I've used nothing else on my Mac mini for decades. I'm glad they still make this one. Your finger has much more control and range than thumb-based trackballs (or mice).

Cons: None. The paint might wear off in spots eventually, and if you turn it upside down the ball will escape, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: If I ever needed another mouse, I'd buy another one of these - but mine keeps on ticking.

4 out of 5 eggsCan't live without it.

Pros: Have pain when using a normal mouse? Me too. This and the Logitech Marble Mouse are the only 2 mice I can use without experiencing any discomfort. This is my favorite of the 2, which is why I just bought another one.

Cons: Wish they could figure out how to add a scroll wheel to this style of trackball.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: This mouse is exactly what I needed to complete my new gaming PC. Its quick response time, coupled with wired stability allowed me to quickly advance from bronze to silver in StarCraft 2, making me a top contender amongst family members like my mom and baby brother. My dad still uses a cheater mouse made by another company that pretty much clicks by itself, auto winning all games.

Cons: Design is a little uninspiring, leaves a little style to be desired.

Other Thoughts: Mouse is highly recommended if you want a legit high performance gaming mouse. I would say I know a lot about computers, I installed Norton on all the computers in my house, so I kind of know what's going on when it comes to computers.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's a Mouse

Pros: This mouse is a very well put together. I like the wing design for the mouse buttons. The trackball is very easy to use with great precision.

Cons: There is no Scroll feature on the mouse, I have had a scroll mouse since the early 90's and they didn't incorporate it into this design? I have a hard time using a mouse without scroll.
The TrackBall also will fall out of the mouse if it is tilted enough for the ball to come free, no force is necessary.

Other Thoughts: This would be a great mouse if only there was a scroll button available. As far a gaming goes, if you are playing a game that only requires two main functions, it would be a great purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsLinux - Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Pros: I still love them. I have two, one for my desktop and one for travel with a laptop. Scroll emmulation works in Linux and in Virtual Box using guests of Windows XP and Window7. Scroll is just hold in the right button and spin the trackball. Easy to adjust click sensitivity to match your click speed. Default was too quick. I had to click more than once and missed clicks. That's maddening when you play a click intensive game.

Cons: Ubuntu releases often break things that were working fine. Now in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS I am using the following steps:

Other Thoughts: Create a text file that contains:
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/Data/bin/xinput_Kensington.sh
Hidden=false
NoDisplay=false
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true
Name[en_US]=Xinput Kensington Trackball
Name=Xinput Kensington Trackball
Comment[en_US]=Enable Trackball scroll feature
Comment=Enable Trackball scroll feature

Save the text file as:
xinput_Kensington.sh.desktop
in
/home/$USERName/.config/autostart/
(make directories if needed)

Create the text file/script for the "Exec=" above
Data/bin/xinput_Kensington.sh

#!/bin/bash
xinput set-prop --type=int --format=8 "Kensington Kensington USB/PS2 Orbit" "Evdev Wheel Emulation" 1
xinput set-prop --type=int --format=8 "Kensington Kensington USB/PS2 Orbit" "Evdev Wheel Emulation Button" 3
xinput set-prop --type=int --format=16 "Kensington Kensington USB/PS2 Orbit" "Evdev Wheel Emulation Timeout" 600

The script has three long lines that begin with xinput and end with 1 or 3 or 600. The third line sets the click sensitivity. 600 works for me. Too little and my clicks get ignored, I'm using old fingers :(
