2 out of 5 eggsBrick

Pros: Big. Looks nice. Quality feel. Tracks well.

Cons: Too heavy. Not comfortable to hold. Back button is not logically placed. Sleeps too often. Hard to wake up.

Other Thoughts: Seemed like a good deal at the time; however, I have regretted it from the moment I bought it. I am used to having the button closest to the back of the mouse being the "back" button for my browser. Uncomfortable to use, not very ergonomic. Might be good for people with extra large hands. Does not slide across the desk effortlessly. Some people like the rubberized grip, but I don't.

4 out of 5 eggsFwd & back works from the box on Win 7

Pros: Huge mouse for big hands, nice design, rubber covering is plus, buttons are working fine so far

Cons: not precise as my older Logitech G7, but price is much lower so I can't really complain too much

Other Thoughts: Ok, I compared it with Logitech G7 which is more gaming mouse but even new battery drains too fast for my standard. However, I did have Kensington flat keyboard before and that was the main reason to try this big boy since I was satisfied with the keyboard. So far works fine and it's nice to have big mouse in the hand

2 out of 5 eggsSending this one back

Pros: * Mouse, while large, feels nice in hand
* Grips on side
* True right-handed design

Cons: * No standard Win7 drivers, which means the forward/back buttons are non-functional
* Very heavy
* Tracking seems so-so

Other Thoughts: The packaging says this mouse is designed for OS X and WinXP; that's how long this mouse has been around. I'm sending this back. I don't know which I dislike the most--the weight or the lack of side buttons. For the price, I expect plug-and-play compatibility.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome mouse!

Pros: This mouse is nice and large, awsome for people with large hands. Fits the whole palm of the hand to make good for hours on the computer and the grips after two years of use have yet to budge which is great because I had that issue in the past with other kinds of kingston comfort mouses, yes I play WoW and people are all "get this mouse with like 15 buttons!" I don't need that i'm content with this mouse it hasn't gone wrong for me yet.

Cons: Only con is batteries, it tends to go through it quickly but not to quick as some have said, I am on my computer 10 hours a day at least and I only replace them once every...oh three weeks? don't go for CHEEP batteries! Get the nice lithium batteries that will last you a month in this mouse otherwise yes it will eat through the batteries like no tomorrow. I will buy rechargeable batteries when my new one comes in.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse for the price guys I say go for it, after two years my right click button dosen't want to really work half the time but that is due to so much wear and tear so i'm buying another one of these same exact one :) hunted for a new mouse for two days and decided I wanted this one again no epic gaming mouse for 100 bucks with 20 buttons deal don't need that i'm happy clicking my needed buttons lol.

5 out of 5 eggsHome and Office

Pros: Great mouse. I have this mouse at home and love it. I spend most of my day on my computer online work, local work and working between the two. The 5 button configuration is great! It is larger than most mice which is a pro for me too. The mouse at home is about 3 years old. I recently needed a new mouse for work, so I purchased the same mouse. I see no difference between the two. I love that it was not broke, so they did not try to fix it.

Cons: eats up batteries. I suggest to anyone that is interested in this mouse that they invest in recharable batteries. I purchased a 4 pack and always have 2 on the charger and 2 in the mouse...much better cost than always buying more AA batteries.

Other Thoughts: At work my mouse freezes about 80% of the time when the computer sleeps. Not sure why it is doing this. It does not do that at home. After snyching the mouse all is good. Not enough for me to move away from the other features that I love.

3 out of 5 eggsBeware!

Pros: This is an excellent mouse that has served me well for almost three years. Never once has it had a hardware problem. If you want a good, long-lasting mouse for a good price, this is a good bet!

Cons: However, if you have any Windows operating system later than XP (or any 64-bit version of an OS- including XP), the drivers for this mouse do not work and will probably never work.

There are work-arounds floating around on the net, however.

Other Thoughts: While I will never buy another Kensington mouse again regardless of compatibility due to their ignorance of driver issues, I will do everything I can to save this particular mouse. It's a great mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for big hands

Pros: This is a pretty large mouse. I like having the height and the rubber grips on the sides. Of all the ones I tried out before buying, this was probably the second largest mouse after the Kensington PilotBoard mouse.

One feature the mouse does have that I could not find listed anywhere are 2 low battery indicators. One on the mouse (a yellow LED between the buttons) and the light on the USB stick turns red.

Cons: Tracking is ok, just ok. I thought it wouldn't be that big if a deal, but every morning it takes a little notable adjustment. There is Mouseworks software that allows different tracking profiles, but I just can't seem to get it to feel right.

Battery life is noticeably short. Brand new, fresh batteries only tasted about 2 weeks (working 9 hour days). I have found the reason to be that when the entire system is shut down, the mouse is still searching for the base. So over the weekend, at home, my mouse at my office is still on and firing it's bright red laser. I started taking the batteries out overnight, over the weekend, etc; and it seems to help.

Other Thoughts: Desperately needs an on/off switch.

I haven't had any connection problems as others have noted. I have the mouse usually within 5-18" at any given time and have never had a signal drop.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor connection

Pros: Nice design, very comfortable, no lags. Connection is stable (if...if... if established)

Cons: Poor connection. Drains battery quickly

Other Thoughts: I have a pretty large palm, so it took me a long time to find a really comfortable mouse. This one fits my palm so perfectly that I think it was a custom design.
But connection is horrible. It simply funny: in order to work, the mouse must be no farther than 17" and no closer than 12" to the receiver (used ruler to measure it).
Forget about plugging USB receiver into the back of the desktop or wrong side of the laptop: mouse won't work.
Yes, there is an extension cable for USB receiver and, if you position it carefully, mouse will work. But plastic paper holder breaks connection completely.
Bottom line: do not buy it. Add some money and go for Logitech.

2 out of 5 eggsBig and Heavy

Pros: The design is very appealing and attractive

Rubber grips on the side and on the scroll wheel

Cons: this thing is very heavy, I would say 3 times heavier than my MS Desktop mouse - It's like a workout for your hand to use this mouse - tracking is not good at all, I have tried all different surfaces for this optical mouse and still have not found one it likes

Other Thoughts: this thing makes other mice look pathetic - I would recommend this product to professional body builders that like to get a workout when using their mouse

(purchased at a store same price)
