2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I like the rubber grip and feel of the mouse. It isn't as "big" as I was thinking it would be from the other reviews.

Cons: I would have given this mouse 5 eggs but I just found out Kensington isn't planning on supporting Windows 7 for the 5 button programming.
From their FAQ: "Is Kensington planning to release MouseWorks software compatible with Microsoft Vista or Windows 7?
There are currently no plans to update MouseWorks."
So I have a really nice 3-button mouse which I wanted a 5-button. Real useful...

5 out of 5 eggsStill happy after three years

Pros: I've had mine for three years without a problem. It's great for big hands, has a satisfying click, and it's not atrociously gaudy like some other mice.

Cons: It emits a little creak when I rest my hand on it, but I hardly notice anymore. The grip is good, but the honeycomb pattern does get a little dirty.

Other Thoughts: I don't know of a mouse I like better. The cord is a bit long for my taste, as I plug my mouse in to my keyboard, so I keep it coiled in the original twist-tie.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted about 2 years

Pros: Comfortable mouse, 5 buttons, good price.

Cons: The mousewheel started to slip past its stop points and failing to scroll as I'm approaching the two year ownership point. It's now nearly impossible to scroll with the mouse, which makes it very frustrating to use. The honeycomb patterned rubber on the sides gets gunk in the recessed areas very easily and is hard to clean.

Other Thoughts: For the price, getting two years out of this mouse is probably good enough. I've had this same track record with other mice of similar configurations at different price points. I'm ready to try another manufacturer and see where that gets me.

4 out of 5 eggsnice mouse

Pros: Comfortable, ergonomically designed, quiet(button clicks I mean), looks nice, 5 buttons, decent length cord, Tracks well on all surfaces I've used it on. detected fine on xp, vista, and various Linux distros, Large enough for big hands.

Cons: rather large(both pro and con) not the most compact/portable peripheral may not fit in your laptop case happily.

Recently the middle button has been acting finicky and only taking either extra pressure or pressure from an odd angle to function. I think the button may be gunked up or something I may take it apart and clean it and see if that helps.

Other Thoughts: Though not a con for me this mouse is definitely designed for right handed use, if you want to use left handed get something else.

I've had this for about 2 years and it has held up well my only caveat is the issues I've been having with the middle button that have only shown up recently.

was bought from new egg but from separate account

3 out of 5 eggsNice mouse, short life

Pros: Large enough to fit my extra-large hand; very comfortable to use. Has performed well.

Cons: I've bought three of these (for three different machines) over the past nine months. One is still working, the left button no longer works on one, and the right button has failed on the third.

Other Thoughts: I really liked the design and usability of this mouse, but not the lack of durability. Now that I have to replace two of them I am definitely looking for something else.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Very comfortable, good button placement, optical tracking and rubber grips.

I bought this is a replacement to my last ( same rubber grips and shape ) Kensington mouse I had.

Cons: Left click button is starting to fail with 1 year of use.
Previous mouse looks terrible, but still works.

Other Thoughts: Great for the price, but somewhat disappointed. Never had a mouse button fail before.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: bought a very similar model. great fit, large mouse, stylish look. i have owned this mouse for almost exactly one year, and it hasn't given me any unwarranted problems. I am very happy that I purchased this. Can't stand those tilt wheels and I require five buttons. However, i am a heavy gamer.

Cons: left started to bug out on me a few days ago. however i gave it a lot of harsh treatment with games such as mount and blade, diablo II, both Overlord games, and variout FPS and RTS games. put a different button on L-click and reset the original left click button to page back.

Other Thoughts: I'm still getting used to it.

5 out of 5 eggsFor big hands

Pros: For people with big hands this is a nice mouse. Accurate and responsive.

Cons: This is a right handed mouse (you can't tell the slant from the picture). It would be nice if they made it for both hands like their older models.

Other Thoughts: Working fine so far. The I had two other kensington mice before, one had the rubber grip fall off on one side (still working mind you) and the other was a smaller one that started having problems with the left button after 2-3 years of daily abuse.

They should make an even bigger mouse. ;-)

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great !

Pros: Simple to use and easy to install. Well made for the $$ and the rubber grip and extra buttons are very useful. Very good movement and excellent control, very accurate.

Cons: The software that comes with this is a little tricky and can be a pain at times.

Other Thoughts: You can use it without the "Mouse Works Software" and it will work just fine, the software seems to cause a few problems from time to time, such as freezing up the system and having to reboot.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse, short lifespan

Pros: I really like this mouse. It's big and I have big hands. 5 buttons is really helpful for gaming, especially because most 5+ button mice are really expensive. I find it comfortable to use and it looks nice, but not too showy, or just ridiculous like some mice.

Cons: I'm on my second one of these, they last almost exactly one year. When it goes bad, the left mouse button starts functioning improperly. It will unclick even if you're still holding the button, and sometimes clcik on and off while you hold it. I'm a gamer so I guess I beat up the left button, but other people here also say it lasts only a year.

Other Thoughts: Even if it lasts 1 year, I'll keep buying it. Or at least I *would* if newegg ever restocked it. Upon last inspection, the solder joints on the left button break and causes the problem, I'll try to fix it. Since they're out of stock, I'll have to buy a more expensive and uglier mouse :(
