Pros: This pointer is easily the best one I have owned. It reaches all the way to the back of my lab with ease (a good 40ft) including the laser. I use it daily in teaching and have only replaced the batteries once in the two years I've have it. Very easy to use because it's literally just plug and play after Windows auto-downloads the driver. I like the convenient lock feature on the side, which also probably contributes to the extended battery life due to it preventing accidental depression of the laser light button whilst in your pocket.
I highly recommend this pointer and would buy another if mine ever broke.

Pros: The green light is close to optimal for the human eye to pick up. Also, in my profession, we deal with a large number of images that are pink-red-purple, so the green light is an ideal contrasting color. Regarding glossy LCD screens, this light is among the best that I have tried: it works well on an older model Samsung monitor at work though less so on my home Samsung TV (might be the angle). Brightness is very good. The slide navigator works well and overall ergonomics are excellent. It is light weight compared to a previous pointer I had. Ergonomics are very good.

Cons: I dont think this needs a carrying case: this increases the size such that it would only be useful in a suitcase or baggage to protect from some degree of crush. The exterior is also plastic.

Other Thoughts: I would have opted for no case, and make the exterior of the device aluminum with a price bump of $25. Metal exteriors are uncommon these days though. It feels cheap, but I do not think that this adversely affects durability or function of this device. The light is adequately bright; brighter might have been nicer but I think this would decrease battery life. A very bright pointer can be annoying and potentially dangerous I suppose. I would definitely buy this again and recommend to other people willing to pay more for a nice pointer.

Other Thoughts: Bought this over a year ago to use in a large church auditorium. The receiver is probably 50 feet from the Kensington most of the time and it never misses a beat in scrolling through PowerPoint slides. Laser works great as well.

Other Thoughts: This was bought for the presenters at our church. We have a wide variety of users from the tech savvy to the newbie and all have used it with no problem. No complaints, except that the first day we plugged the usb receiver into the back of our computer and it did not work. Now keep in mind this is about 75 or 100 feet away from the stage behind the a/v booth wall under a table. We moved it to one of the usb slots on the front of the computer and it has been working fine ever since. It is a quality comfortable product that you do not have to look at more than once to figure out how to use. Buy this product.
