Take control of your games with Logitech’s RumblePad 2 vibration feedback joystick. This wireless controller works with PCs or Macs (OS X 10.5 or later). The textured soft rubber grips will give you a firm grasp on the game. And, you’ll feel every hit, crash and explosion.

Two analog joysticks give you precise control of your actions. An 8-way D-pad increases your accuracy. There are 10 programmable buttons that you can organize for best performance. The included software lets you download game profiles, assign a shift button to double your buttons and more.

Play for 100 hours on one set of batteries. Since it works in the 2.4GHz range there is plenty of bandwidth so you don’t have to worry about transmission lag. A 30 foot range makes this a great choice for people who play games on their HTPCs with extra large monitors.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Controller

Pros: Reliable, quality controller, easy on batteries.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish more PC games were designed to support this type of controller rather than XBOX controllers, so I wouldn't have to set it up to emulate one.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Gamepad

Pros: Works well with NBA 2k11 on my PC. Wifi, been using it constantly for a couple months and have still not had the need to change the battery.

Cons: I hate that games on the PC are setup so they configure with an XBOX controller, being used to a PS3 I decided to go with this. Not really a controller con, but people should know that it will take a little extra time to setup the controller so it works well.

Pros: Finally a game pad that works like it's suppose to. Worked out of the box, good vibration, very happy with this model.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I have used several other game pads over the years and always had issues with them but this one just works and it's wireless.

4 out of 5 eggsGood pad, but dead

Pros: Cordless, easy setting, confortable holding.
I got two, and they can work together with offical driver.

Cons: Big receiver.
One of them did not work after 3 days. The pad could not be found by the receiver any more when I changed the batteries. I followed the offical manual to match them again. But the LED light just keep flashing, however no button pressing signal was caught.

5 out of 5 eggsNice gamepads

Pros: Comfortable, sturdy, responsive, works on Windows 7 x64, and compatible with every emulator I've used so far.

Cons: They're a little heavy - makes clumsy people like me prone to dropping them.

Other Thoughts: Can't say I have a lot of experience with gamepads, but I really do like these. They went on sale for $19.99 + free shipping so I bought two of them to use for emulators on my HTPC.

I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop combo on my HTPC, and for some reason, the profiler software didn't work at first - wouldn't recognize either of the gamepads. I did some Googling and found that this is a common problem that is caused by SetPoint. Just uninstall SetPoint and reboot, then install the profiler software, then reinstall SetPoint and you should be good to go.

5 out of 5 eggsYESsss

Pros: I must say...I love it. This thing is comfortable and familiar. Works great in all my games (minus 1st person shooters) A MUST for sports games and/or fighting games. Great for air combat games.

Cons: The only thing I see as a con is that it is not precise enough for 1st person shooter games. Way too twitchy or too slow. I didn't purchase it for that though.

Other Thoughts: Man , this is a great controller. I thought it might be hard to run/move in a straight line due to the square parts that the sticks sit in , but no way. Everything is great.

5 out of 5 eggsInitial Perceptions

Pros: - Installation was quick and painless
- Runs on Windows 7 64 bit
- Software preloads button configurations by searching your computer for game executables
- Controls were very responsive
- Controller is comfortable in the hands

I like to play platformers with a controller, but since I own very few of them for the PC, I'm not going to spend $35+ dollars on a controller I'm not going to use very often. That is what consoles are for. However, for $20, it has been very worth it. I have no real complaints. If you can pick it up for cheap, do it, it won't hurt your bank account and you can really enjoy the games how they were supposed to be played. Logitech makes great products.

Cons: - Can't comment on battery life as I haven't played with it for very long.
- pre loaded button configuration was off in the game (when asked to push button 7, it really meant 6)
- Easy to press the mode button which switches your controls on the fly, while in game.
- No recharge station (That is really pushing it though. I'd pay $10 more for a recharge station and $5 more if you could charge it via USB)

When I read reviews here on Newegg, they are to find out whether the product is worth the money. I don't know what to tell you other than the controller does what it is suppose to which is what I was looking for. I bought this because of the price. If I played more games with a controller, I'd look at the PC Xbox 360 controller since it was originally designed for a non-mouse and keyboard setup. However, since I only play few games and am cheap, this works great.

Other Thoughts: Bought the Cordless RumblePad 2 during the Black Friday sale last week and had the product arrive yesterday. Setup was very simple and straightforward: Pop in the mini disk, install the software, plug in the usb wireless receiver, pop in the batteries (included) into the back of the controller and I was up and running. No hiccups, no problems.

Controller feels good in my hands and has some heft to it. Didn't play much with the software, but what I did use was great. Logitech searches your computer for game .exe's and adds them to your controller profile for quick selection. When I started up Assassin's Creed, the game instantly recognized the controller and configured the keys.

I played 2 hours of AC and I have no complaints thus far. After a while I didn't even notice it was in my hands. If you are casual PC platformer, I can't think of a better option. I like the wireless as I can kick back in my chair without the fear of rolling over the wire.
