4 out of 5 eggsLove these headphones

Pros: I got these head pones for $30 back in early 2012. Since I bought them, I pretty much wear them on a daily basis for a minimum of 2 hrs a day, sometimes on the head and sometimes just around the neck. The sound is loud enough so I can easily hear them while they are around my neck. It's also nice when you want to spread the music around but don't have speakers.
I can't believe how well these head phones have held up over the 19 or so months that I've had them.
Overall, the sound quality is good, I do wish they had a little more bass to them, but I'm one of those people who think everything needs more bass.
Also, these headphones do a great job of cancelling outside noise, so if you are in the middle of a crowd or something, you can put these on, and play music without disturbing anyone else and without having to hear anyone else.
Additionally, I can't count how many times I've gotten complements from random people about how cool my headphones are. It's brightens up my day. And they only cost $30.

Cons: The only real problem I've had with these head phones is the cord that goes from the male connector right next to the head phones themselves to the music player. The original cord worked great, but not for long. It lasted about 6 months, and then I bought a new 6 foot 3.5mm cable. The sad part is that many of the cables being sold are really, really terrible, so it was a bit of a hassle for a while. But, eventually I bought a nice $7 cable and it lasted me about 9 months, which was pretty good, considering the amount of use I got out of it. I ended up getting another one of those cables, this time for free, and now I know I don't have to worry about this problem for another year.

Other than the intermediary cable going bad, I have never had any problems with these head phones, and I really love em.

Other Thoughts: I doubt you can find a better set of head phones for $30, which was the cost when I purchased them. I know they are discontinued on newegg but I'm sure they are still being sold on some website or another. If you are looking for an quality under $50 set of head phones, these are what you are looking for.

3 out of 5 eggsGood until they stopped working...

Pros: Nice deep bass. Sounds like surround sound. Lots of compliments (although I wasn't partial to the white plastic look.) Nice cord. Includes microphone and volume controls.

Cons: 1 - The volume up and down buttons do not work on Android phones. The Mic and Talk/Hang-Up buttons do work.

2 - Although this product is sold with an 'upgraded, tangle free, quick release' cord that isn't suppose to break, I have had the same problem with these headphones as many others that where the wire connects to the jack is now loose... meaning I constantly have to fiddle to get my left earphone working.

3 - Going to return (to manufacture), will update this review with my experience with the return process

Other Thoughts: Were GREAT until the left headphone started dropping in and out. Not surprised, I own a pair of $170 Denon's that started doing the same thing after about 3 months. Seems no one knows how to design a headphone cord that doesn't break after a couple months of use.

2 out of 5 eggsThe Unbreakable cable broke

Pros: It had mic and headset plus controls for apple devices.

Cons: Sound was just OK, After 3 months the cable that is supposed to be reinforced now has an internal break. Sound comes and goes in one side as you move the cable.

Other Thoughts: would consider buying another brand.

1 out of 5 eggsWish they still worked..

Pros: Nice headphones while they still worked. Mic and controls for i-devices

Cons: The headphones will no longer properly play sound. This goes for both i-devices and non Apple products. In order to get sound I must play with the cord where it connects to the headphones and get it just right. Even then, the sound is not 100%.

Other Thoughts: I really should have looked into the warranty and return policy before I bought these. They're annoying to use because I have to constantly correct the cord to keep my music playing. I'm pretty disappointed to see that Warranty for replacement was only 30 days.

4 out of 5 eggsone glitch

Pros: The sound quality was great when there was something loud playing through them. They were also super cozy. I liked the fact that it was compatable with i-stuff.

Cons: When the sound was softer, like while I was playing Skyrim, I could hear a little pop every second. It started to get too anoying to use these while playing games.

Other Thoughts: I ended up putting these in the original packaging and giving them to my sister-in-law who has i-stuff exclusively. I was going to get her something that was about the $25 I paid for them anyway.

Pros: I bought these when they were on sale for about $20-29, normally they sell for $99.99, they have excellent sound quality and very comfortable too.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsEnhanced Durability?

Pros: Sound quality was ok, while it worked.
Enhanced durability on the headband, not the wire tips

Cons: On the first day of use, the connection point to my iphone came loose. The metal part just fell apart. Now I had these for maybe 3 weeks with extremely careful use, I do not have any sound in my left side of the headset.....

4 out of 5 eggsGood!

Pros: So far I love these!

- They look nice, i like the white color and the little grey design on the headphones
- comfortable (I really like the stretchy head strap)
- the little volume control on the cord is kinda cool
- they feel fairly durable, but not overly bulky
- nice cord, feels sturdy (and looks cool, in my opinion)

As far as the sound, I would describe it as good. It didn't blow me away or anything, but its perfectly adequate for casually listening to music, game audio, etc.

I've been predominantly using earbuds for several years and I have to say going back to actual headphones is BLISSFUL.

Cons: none yet really. although I will say I agree with some of the others that they would be way too much at full retail price.

Other Thoughts: so far a win, especially at the shellshocker price

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound & Comfortable

Pros: 1. Decent bass
2. Clear sound
3. Comfort on ears and head
4. No tangle cord that is just long enough

Cons: I've been told that I look like I'm about to land a plane

Other Thoughts: These appear to be well made and should hopefully last me a long time, e.g. over 1 year.
