1 out of 5 eggsGYRATING RIP OFF

Pros: Overly sensitive for a normal windows enviroment. You have to be really smooth to be able to stop it and click where you want. Never could get the hang of it.

It's small. (hard to use)

Cons: It's small. (easy to lose)

A conventional wireless mouse is much easier to use. No scroll wheel. Confusing interface. It only worked for 2 weeks. Then died.....

Other Thoughts: WHERE"S MY REBATE CHECK????

It's been nearly 3 months!

PS I still love the egg!

1 out of 5 eggsSo

Pros: none

Cons: It is hard to control. Very slow copy of files to the device. It does not work on TV USB connection.

Other Thoughts: They hold on to your rebate. I submitted in Nov and called them but they don't know when they will mail the rebate. It has been more than 16 weeks. They are supposed to send to you within 8 weeks.

4 out of 5 eggsDon't trust Rebate Centers of America!

Pros: The Gyration Air mouse works exactly like they say it does, takes a little getting used to, but does work from 10-25 feet away from the dongle.

Cons: I followed the instructions to the tee, but never received anything back from Rebate Centers of America, been waiting since December!!! (I did submit the newegg paper within 3 weeks with the bar code from the packaging and a copy of the newegg invoice...???)

1 out of 5 eggsSCAM

Pros: Difficult to use, selecting something on screen with the mouse is almost IMPOSSIBLE. The air mouse is only good for open and closing a program. Not for surfing the web, of for that matter using it like a mouse in anyway.

Navigation with this mouse onscreen is almost impossible. A horrible device really. Very very frustrating to use. A head and stress attack in a box.

Cons: Rebate is a SCAM I have been waiting 3 THREE months, I have called, and they say they are going to send it out, but when nobody knows.

Other Thoughts: Run away, RUN

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away!!!!!

Pros: The mouse is cool and it works, and the 2gb flash drive comes in handy. Newegg is awesome.

Cons: It is not worth the hassle!!!! I am still fighting for my rebate of over $40 and it has been over three months!!! The rebate company doesn't care, and they are not willing to help. We are constantly fighting with them and they are not doing anything to help us. It is not even remotely close to worth the hassle, and I don't believe that I will ever get my money back. I warn all of you that are thinking about getting this "free" item, DON'T DO IT!

Other Thoughts: Newegg is great, shipping was fast, and it was well packaged. I love Newegg, and I will continue to use them for all my electronic needs. However, I am afraid of mail in rebates and especially rebates from the National Rebate Center.

5 out of 5 eggsStill waiting!

Pros: Great product! wish it was rechargeable but still running off of the stock battery after 1 month!! 2gb on the receiver! perfect for htpc and presentations, students or business persons would appreciate this!

Cons: receiver gets HOT! seems fragile as mentioned in other posts (I have been careful not to drop it 36 inches onto padded carpet) does not work as regular mouse (air only) but knew that going in so no eggs off!

STILL waiting on rebate, I understand this process takes time, the website says it's processing my submission so we'll see! they got another 4 weeks!

Other Thoughts: if you don't mind your money being tied up in a rebate, grab it while it's cheap! hopefully all our rebates will come through, I have hope, if so, what a bargain! I want 10 at this price! one for every pc and plenty of spares!!

3 out of 5 eggsSent Rebate: Got Nothing Back

Pros: It can plug and play on almost any system, making it really easy to demonstrate what it can do, and to utilize it in a real life situation with simplicity and ease.

Cons: If you aim off the side of the screen, the mouse will stop but generally the movement of your arm will not, then when you correct your arm, you will still sort of have it pointing at an angle off the side of the screen. Not a big deal, it just needs some getting used to.

It's also nearly impossible to double click something if you have the movement mode on. I have to say this can be used for a very limited selection of applications (Powerpoint is _all_ I can think of) because of how poor the accuracy is.

I bought this when it was free after rebate, I got my item, sent off the rebate, and I have never heard from them since. I'm honestly concerned I will never receive this money back. Since I bought this I entered a time in my life where money is really tight, and I have to say, I am really worried that I just got hosed out of $50.

Other Thoughts: The device itself is a nice idea. If you've ever used a Wiimote, it's exactly the same. I also took the time to test this out on a few games for the fun of it. For first person shooters like Left4Dead, it's completely useless. The accuracy is too terrible. But also remember this was not made for that purpose. My friend also tested it on The Sims 3. He set it up on his laptop, laid down on his couch, and never touched the keyboard once. So as a conclusion, it's amazing for point and click games like The Sims, decent for anything like PowerPoint, and complete tripe at anything else.

Before you get your hopes up thinking it will replace your mouse entirely, it will not. Your wrist and arm will get tired within minutes of using it and you'll probably turn it off and put it to the side with your USB pet rock and webcam Nerf missile launcher.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty cool and useful

Pros: Neat little gadget. Great for presentations. I got this thing for free after rebates so you can't beat that. I have already heard back from the rebate company that they have my order and are processing it. I don't know about you but I have had to fight for rebates these days so it was refreshing. Its a bonus to have a 2GB memory stick built in.

Cons: The connect buttons are poorly placed and sometimes hard to get to. This is the only reason I knocked it down a star.

Other Thoughts: If you have the need for such a thing, it can be pretty useful.

4 out of 5 eggsFree & Easy

Pros: I honestly only bought this little bugger because it was free after rebate. I'm still waiting on the rebate to process, but it works as advertised. I'm a teacher it works great for anyone who gives presentations and wants more control than just a "clicker" does. It does take a little getting used to move your wrist the correct way. Wii users might have an easier time.

Cons: There is a learning curve required and I think it would be easier to use if the left-click was actually more of a trigger. I find myself having trouble holding the scroll button, clicking, and keeping the mouse on point. I often end up locking the scroll into position. Turning off the scroll. Then double-clicking on my link as needed.

Other Thoughts: Since I teach physics, I don't need presentations that often but my peers that do seem interested and for those of you giving them in the business world will find it handy if you always feel the need to run back to the computer to adjust open something up.

I primarily have used it as a remote control for my computer when lying in bed. With saved passwords, and bookmarks I can use my computer to stream television episodes, movies, and adjust the volume.
