Cons: This product is junk and should come with an apology note or one that says "ha ha gotta sucker!". I had a Gyration Air mouse Go Plus for years that worked well. So I assumed this to be the same quality product. I was wrong. This is a cheap piece of junk that Gyration should be embarrassed to sell.

Other Thoughts: If you can get it to charge it does work badly. Mine stopped charging after the 1st six months of use. You also have to be careful it stays stuck on and kill it's battery in a few hours if you use the air mouse function. Make sure to watch the blue lead on top, 9 times out of 10 when you use the air function it will not turn off when you let go of the button. Then when the next time you go to use it, it's totally dead.

Pros: None

Cons: DOA. Purchased 6 and 2 of the 6 were Dead on arrival.

Pros: It worked for two months before dying.

Cons: I bought this in June and it died in August. The battery died so I put it in the charger. The blue LED came on the mouse and it is completely unresponsive. It will not connect, the amber charge indicators quite. It does absolutely nothing. It is completely worthless.

Other Thoughts: Do NOT buy this product. It is junk! Spend you $80 on anything but this item.

Pros: Moves pointer on screen.... sometimes.

Cons: This unfortunately is the worst Gyration mouse I've used. I've owned two Go Pluses, the mini mouse they made, and the super small Transport model and all worked great.

The Elite on the other hand gets flaky more than 10 feet away from the receiver and is unusable if you happen to use 2.4ghz wireless under moderate to heavy load (I've had to change to 5ghz wifi as a workaround).

As other reviewers have said, the mouse sometimes goes into "constantly move cursor" mode after a single click-hold of the "start tracking" button. Double clicking the tracking button once does not take it out of always track, and requires 2 to 3 tries to get it to stop moving the cursor. The receiver provided with this mouse also does not sync with the older Gyration wireless keyboard that I have from my Pro Plus set. Between this and the wifi issue, I suspect they have changed wireless standards at some point.

Other Thoughts: Just checked the Gyration website while writing this review and it appears that they have either lost their domain name or website. All I get is a place holder page.... WHAT?!?! The true manufacturer, SMK-Link, and the people behind the motion sensor, Movea, are still around though.

This is also the only Gyration mouse to have a non-replaceable battery, which after some time getting kicked around the couch (this is an HTPC product after all) has come loose from its mounts and makes a rattling noise if I shake the mouse.

In conclusion, any of the previous models are a superior choice and have served me well for years now, but I would hard pressed to recommend the Elite model.

Pros: This is GREAT for a home theater setup! Hold the trigger to drag the mouse where you want it, then let go while on top of an on-screen button and it stays there until you deliberately move it again. Avoids cursor movement while clicking buttons. You can double-tap the trigger to allow the cursor to follow your movements continuously as well.

Uses gestures for common things such as "back" and "forward" on your internet browser.

Cons: Occasionally the trigger double-tap feature can be activated inadvertently, but not enough of a bother to knock off an egg.

Other Thoughts: This mouse would be great for presentations and home theater type setups. Works great!

Pros: no need for a place to put your mouse.... great for using with your home theater system.....

Cons: none that i have noticed, so far.

Other Thoughts: When I was reading the reviews for this product I seen a few mixed reviews. I was pretty hesitant, on whether or not I should purchase this product. I am glad I did.

The biggest problem I kept hearing about with this product is that the trigger to move the cursor would constantly stick. That is not the case. The product is designed to lock on to the cursor if the trigger is double clicked. So, the biggest flaw of this product is that people simply didn't realize that you can lock on to the cursor and move the cursor without holding down the trigger.

As for a few reviews I have read about software and connection issues. I have had none, so far.

Pros: wireless use over long range...good for home theaters and PCs using HDTV as a monitor

Cons: loses connection easily...software locks-up your PC....cursor frequently roams freely

Other Thoughts: to move the cursor you have to pull the trigger and move the air mouse....release the trigger, and the mouse stops. However, almost every other motion causes the cursor to break free from the trigger-lock and move without holding the trigger in. Seems easier, but it's not...it's unbelievably annoying. You can't click on anything when this happens.

If this mouse worked correctly, it would ne the best product on earth. But, I've sent 4 emails to Gyration and have never gotten a reply. If their software updated, it didn't fix the loose cursor problem.

Avoid this product.
