Connectland CM-502 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Headphone with Built-in Microphone

  • 20Hz–20KHz
  • 3.5mm Connector
  • 8 feet Cord Length
ICON Loading...

Unbelievably inexpensive, no fragile boom arm to break, good frequency response (20 Hz to 20,000 Hz) these headphones feature a 3.5mm plug for use with a wide variety of devices. Suitable for multimedia, gaming, VoIP, small offices; you could almost afford to give these away to your employees.

Intended to last, they come with a three year limited parts and labor warranty. Good output with 108 dB (plus or minus three dB) sensitivity. Inexpensive pricing means you can stay within budget while equipping everyone, or buy spares and never even bother with the warranty. Small offices and startups may particularly appreciate that.

But enough of my opinions. It's time for you to check things out for yourself and decide if you want to put your money where my mouth is. Check for yourself and decide.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh.

Pros: Good for the price.

Cons: Much too flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I knew what I was paying for when I ordered these headphones, but I over estimated the quality of the sound.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

Quality of the sound also depends on the quailty support of the sound card/device and the equalizer setting preferences.

Be sure to adjust the settings to improve the quality of the audio.

Thank you for leaving us your valuable feedback.

Regards, SYBA CST 11122013

4 out of 5 eggsGood while they last

Pros: Works well, braided cord, inline mic is convenient

Cons: If cord is crimped too much it can make the mic or headphones stop working.

Other Thoughts: I love this headset, just have to be careful of rolling over the cord or crimping it. I have bought quite a few of these due to these issues, though still a good product and quite affordable when you need multiples.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsTried it for the first day

Pros: It works like it's supposed to.
The mic isn't as sensitive as I thought ti would be, but it will suffice.

Cons: It feels uncomfortable on my ears after awhile.
It's like it's squeezing my head a little bit.

Other Thoughts: It's only my first day trying out this product.
I hope it can last at least 3 months.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Uncomfortable. On-the-ear style, very oddly shaped overall, sort of hurt the top of my head and ears. Muffled sound.. a lot of bass from what I can hear.

Microphone is not being detected by my computer, but fortunately I have a microphone to use already.

Other Thoughts: They are definitely worth getting if you don't spend all day on the computer, they start hurting after an hour, I only use them when everyone is sleeping.

3 out of 5 eggscheap

Pros: cheap at 7.99 and free shipping, no tax

Cons: one of the ear pad fell off after one day of use, almost impossible to get it back on

Other Thoughts: these are a great practical joke for 7.99, but they do sound decent

3 out of 5 eggsBad. Left ear no sound after 2-3 days.

Pros: Cheap price. Nice sound.

Cons: But broke after a while. Mic isn't really inbuilt on the headphones, but on the cords.

Other Thoughts: Brought it on Newegg's e.Bay's . since it was more convenient for me. Don't have the paper anymore, but should be avaliable on my the account itself.

3 out of 5 eggsAlmost as described

Pros: Nice sheathed cord, not bare rubber. Good clear sound, nice frequency range.

Cons: The cord is listed as 8' long, but is closer to 6'10", so if you're shopping by cord length to reach a specific point, you might want to give this one a miss. The 'built-in mic' is built into the volume adjustment inline with the cord, not the earpieces. Said earpieces also looked bigger and higher-coverage in the photo, but I guess that one's my bad.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: I got this headset because it was cheap and I needed something with a working microphone. Considering the price, its sound quality is quite good and it has lasted me more than a year already (though I don't use it every day).

Cons: After about two months I began having issues with the microphone. It would simply stop working for maybe a week and then I'd try again and all was normal. A bit inconvenient more than anything. It's working today though, so I won't complain.

4 out of 5 eggsI wanted a cheap headset. That is what I got.

Pros: Cheap. Functional.

Cons: Not free. The microphone is on the lead.

Other Thoughts: Headsets always break and they break often. After many years I have found 'cheap' is the best way to go. These were very cheap.
