4 out of 5 eggsDecent Headset

Pros: Decent sound quality for games.
Good mic quality for the price.
Good price.

Cons: It hurts the ears (makes them sore) after a few hours of wear.
No in-line volume control.

Other Thoughts: Given my expectations for this headset, in general it surpassed them. The sound quality is above average, and the mic is way above average. The wear issues I considered and decided it was not a huge deal as I only use them a few hours a night, and I knew beforehand that it did not have a volume control in-line. I do hope that I get used to them though, as my ears stay sore throughout the day. I figure in a week I'll either consider a new set because of the discomfort, or I'll be used to them and my ears will harden up. I personally figure the later will come true.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great mic, good sound quality, able to sit at the computer for hours without ear pain (my eyes start to hurt from looking at the screen before my ears hurt from the headset). The adjustable part is incredibly flexible (i usually play with 1 headphone actually on my ear, i live in a bad part of town....) and highly adjustable. This is actually my second one of these headsets (the dog got to the last one), but loved it so much i'm getting another one.

Last thought: The volume control is on the headset itself, not inline on the cable. It makes looking for the control much easier since there isn't 8 feet of wire that you're sorting through to find it. It's just above your ear. Excellent idea.

Cons: the only downfall to this headset is the microphone. I've had feedback from people that have said that I'm either incredibly quiet, or all they hear is static. It's not a deal breaker for me

Other Thoughts: Excellent headset, I would suggest it to anyone that wants a decent quality headset for ridiculously cheap. The cable is incredibly long (by my standards), but bearable.

If you're looking for Pro gaming sound, this will probably not be up your alley.....

1 out of 5 eggsCheap for a reason

4 out of 5 eggsGood considering the price

Pros: If you are looking for the ability to speak to others for cheap then this will work.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Not the best audio quality or microphone but what can you expect for spending $8. I didn't put this in the cons because of the price.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price

Pros: Price, obviously that's why your here to begin with.
Quality is better than many of the other headsets for less than $10 (but that's only saying its better than other poor products)

Cons: The headphones volume is very low with no ability to boost it, its just a hazard of being so cheap, but if you max it out in a quiet room its reasonably passable.
The ear area is very small, its likely designed with asian markets in mind, an average person will find it uncomfortable, I bought 2 of these and my friend said the same thing.

Other Thoughts: For the price you get what you pay for, I personally learned my lesson buying several different cheap brands at once to try, I find spending $20 on a better product is going a MUCH better investment in the long run than trying to find the least terrible one for $10 or less.

4 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: They're good for the price I guess. The volume knob on the ear is a nice feature. Everybody I've talked to on the mic says I sound good and have absolutely no qualms with the sound quality.

Cons: This is why I only gave four stars. They are very very stiff and don't conform to my ear, so most of the pressure gets put on a small area and it gets uncomfortable after a while. I think they are so stiff because of the strong metal bars holding the ear cup on. I only put them on to talk to somebody and remove them immediately.

Other Thoughts: Good set for the price I guess. If you would be using it a lot I would look for something that seems more comfortable.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good afterall

Pros: Lightweight, good sound.

Cons: Not very sturdy.

Other Thoughts: What can I say? I'm an idiot! I expected the volume control to be on the headset connection wire, and it's actually on the earpiece, which I'd overlooked completely! The sound is very good, and I love how lightweight and comfortable the headset is. I haven't used the mic yet so can't confirm how well it works. All and all, for the price it's a very good piece of equipment.

1 out of 5 eggsUnusable headset

Pros: Very low sound. Not even usable.

Cons: Light weight.

Other Thoughts: We've tried everything to get this headset to work. Can barely hear anything at full volume. Not worth the cost of returning it. Just throwing it into the trash as it's worthless.
