2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Great audio and voice quality. Detachable mic can be nice, but mostly because there's no mute button.

Cons: The headset is pretty uncomfortable. After even short use, I feel pressure on the top of my head which I have never had from other gaming headsets. Also, it's pretty big and clunky. Definitely clunky. Finally, there's no mute or volume buttons.

Other Thoughts: This was my first try with a 3.5mm jack headset rather than USB, and I'm not a big fan. I will be going back to a USB for my next one.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for the issues you have experienced with this headset.

Please make sure that the headset is fit snug on your head. If not the device may rely only on the top of your head to hold the headset up which may cause prssure.

We have taken note of your comments on the lack of mute and volume buttons.

Thank you for purchasing one of our products, and for leaving us your valuable feedback.

5 out of 5 eggsSuprising!

Pros: Quite a few, but I will keep them simple. I actually get ill from using a mono headset, so This was originally purchased for my PC on a whim since I needed to replace my half dead one. Needless to say, the seeming strength and durability impressed me, the heaviness had me worried... till I put them on, and Viola! ...A beautiful cacophony of sound assaulted my ears with the carnal pleasure of a, to me, very very high quality transmission of the music i had playing. The Mic input is wonderful, but what truly makes this stand out is the "funny" way they split everything up to the PC, You see, they use a stereo plug jack, that is a variant, is exactly the same as what you will see on any mono headset with mic. This, suprisingly is what I also needed for use on my PS4 to get away from the dreaded mono sound, and back to the assault of noise on both my ears. I cannot stand single ear sound. And even there it excelled!

Cons: The primary cold from the headset to the splitter could do with being maybe 6 to 12 inches longer, but is adequate for what it is

4 out of 5 eggsVery comfy and feels durable

Pros: Very comfy and nice sound quality. The cord is nice and long and feels VERY durable. The detachable mic comes in and out very easily and can bend most anywhere it should reasonably be able to go(ie, not bending back 180 degrees).

Cons: Feels a bit wide and heard a small buzzing in it for a day or two after I stuffed it in a bag to take on a trip. but that has cleared up. Also the main cord has a strange jack to include input and output, but the headset includes a converter cord.

Other Thoughts: I got this on a great sale and was definitely worth the price. I would recommend this to someone looking for a headset for their desktop.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Value

Pros: - Good, clear sound.
- Easy to use software.
- Detachable mic and braided, decent-length cord.
- Comfortable for many (~5-8) hours of wear.
- Blocks outside noise.

Good value for the price when it's on sale. It plays my music and gaming sounds well enough, but then again, it's not like I know what really good headphones sound like. Oh wells. Comfortable for my small head though at first I was worried it was too big for me. I don't travel far with my headphones so I have the cable partially tied up and it works out well.
Have not tested mic's quality yet so can't comment there. It works tho.

Cons: - Braided cable apparently doubles as cat toy.
- Blocks outside noise, BUUTT Everyone else can hear the sounds too...

My cat doesn't chew wires, but loves string. Apparently this cable is string to him... This headphone's days are numbered.

**My biggest issue is that it doesn't keep sound inside the headphones! My last pair (Creative Fatal1ty), even cheaper, could. Even at low volumes and regardless if I'm wearing them or not, the sounds and words spoken can be clearly heard across the room. It really sucks.
I wouldn't have bought them if I knew this beforehand.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset, bad mic.

Pros: Decent sound quality.
Fits around my ears.
Very comfortable.

Cons: Mic stopped working after a day, just makes noise, repeats whatever is being heard in the headset.

Other Thoughts: I heard this issue before, but I didn't expect to get a bad mic. a big reason why I got this headset.

2 out of 5 eggsSYBA PC200

Pros: Nicely packaged. Cord from headset looks like old style cloth cord. Has velcro strap to hold cord together (for storage?) Got them on sale.
Keep ears warmer in the winter (I keep my heat at 61 at night). Headphones have a decent fit and are neither too tight or too loose for my head.

Cons: Mic did not work, it just generates noise. Cord is in two sections and the section that plugs into the PC does not have standard label or color coding. Speakers are a little muddled. Cord can get easily tangled and it is harder to untangle than normal headset wire.

Other Thoughts: I got them on sale so it is not worth it to me to ship them back. One of the drawbacks of on-line ordering. It's one of the things you have to factor in when you buy cheaper stuff. I wanted to use these for Skype as my Logitek headset is showing wear on the foam. Had the mic worked, I would have given this set 4/5 mainly for the speaker response and cabling issues being less than ideal (for this price point).

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for your dissatisfaction with the microphone on this headset.

The cables included with this device should have labeled symbols on the connections to show which should be connected to the speaker output and microphone input of your computer.

After first connecting the microphone please make sure you have configured it properly through your system for optimal results.

Thank you for purchasing one of our products, and for leaving us your valuable feedback.

5 out of 5 eggsStill Going

Pros: Still going strong after one year.

Cons: None as of yet. (after a year of ownership)

Other Thoughts: I am now buying a fourth set of these headphones, and I felt it was time for an update. If you read my previous review, it will give some insight for this one.

Anyway, I am buying a fourth set, this time for my mother. Originally i bought 2 during Black Friday of 2013. One was for me, and one was for my wife. We both wear ours and at times for as long as 10+ hours. They have never felt uncomfortable, even though they are not light weight. The third set I ordered was last summer for my 8 year old daughter. She tried mine and said they were really comfortable. The reason I mention this is to show these will fit a very large skull (mine), and a small skull of a child, comfortably. Now the fourth set I just ordered are for my mother, mainly to watch movies on her iphone.

The pros I noticed and mentioned in my previous review, still hold true and time, thus far, has not proven my theories (on why these seem to have a reason for longevity) wrong. Let's hope there is another review in another year, with a continued success story about the lifespan of these headsets.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Colossal drivers capable of thunderous bass. The ear cushions are comfortable fabric and the braided cable is appreciated.

Cons: The mids and highs aren't bad, but they aren't as awesome as the bass and can distort at higher volumes.

Other Thoughts: Got these on sale. I'm satisfied with the purchase, but would think twice about paying full price.
