4 out of 5 eggsGood Headset

Pros: - Sturdy plastic construction
- Usually on sale
- Is comfortable for 1-2 hours of use at a time
- Can be used simply as headphones (there is an adapter included if you want to use a mic)

Cons: - The cord connecting the two cups came loose after about 4 months, nothing that superglue couldn't fix
- It is hard to tell if the mic is seated properly when you put it in

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent headphones for a great price

Pros: -The headset is light, comfortable, easily adjustable; not at all clunky.

-Excellent sound quality, with a fair bass and good noise cancelling.

-The detachable wire microphone is convenient, easily adjustable, (reportedly) good sound quality when using chat servers like Ventrilo, and securely locks in when attached.

-Together with a detachable microphone, the fairly long cord and included adapter make it versatile as I have unplugged it from my PC at times and used it with my other devices like my smart phone, 3DS and PS Vita.

I would recommend it for people who were burnt by their previous Razor headsets (that broke) and wish for a cheaper, and really good alternative.

Cons: After long periods of use (2+ hours), the cushions of the cups and band start digging into my temple because of the band's shape.

Other Thoughts: When I tried using it with my Vita and 3DS, no sound came out until I plugged in my microphone. I found that kind of odd.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: Really great headset.
I picked these up for 25 bucks on sale, safe to say I was a bit skeptical. Normally a headset for 25 bucks is gonna be a lemon, but these are great. They fit great on my head (I have a pretty big head) which was surprising. Normally headsets are tight on my head, but these fit perfectly snug. The sound quality is much better than my Turtle Beaches too. Has a nice braided cable. The removable mic comes in handy every now and then. Haven't had any mic static either. All in all, a great headset. I would have paid 70 bucks for these.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: They don't really have a sleek fit about them. They look a bit goofy when on your head, but no biggie.

4 out of 5 eggsbig, cheap, sound good

Pros: Cheap! I bought for just under half of full, listed price.

They sound really good for stereo headphones. no crackling, no popping.

Come with mic/audio split stereo jack. I love popping these headphones on while having long conversations with my mom on the phone.

big enough that they don't put pressure on my ears in strange ways.

Cons: Size: I have a small, small, narrow head. I wear an XXS size helmet. I padded the headband, but the ear cups are still too far apart. It slides off if I tilt my head down or back. Not a problem if you have an average sized skull.

The ear cups move on the band too easily. I might drill a hole through and screw them into place.

Other Thoughts: Compared to the name brand headphones, these are worth it. The quality leaves some to be desired, but the sound is good.

2 out of 5 eggsMic doesnt work anymore.

Pros: - Gets comfortable
- Has detachable mic
- Good mic quality (when it's working)

Cons: - The sound in this headset is compressed. I sent an e-mail for help on this and they never responded to me.
- My mic, now 5 months later -- no, since a month ago, does not work. 4 months total.

Other Thoughts: I'd bump my review if I actually got some decent and acceptable help on this matter. I myself work in customer service and know when the customer is right. Now being the customer, I know I deserve some help here.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes it's Job.

Pros: For the price on sale you really can't beat it.

Cons: A tad heavy.

Other Thoughts: If you want a cheap headset this is the way to go. Don't expect 300$ sound but do expect a decent mic and working speakers that are clear.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Great audio and voice quality. Detachable mic can be nice, but mostly because there's no mute button.

Cons: The headset is pretty uncomfortable. After even short use, I feel pressure on the top of my head which I have never had from other gaming headsets. Also, it's pretty big and clunky. Definitely clunky. Finally, there's no mute or volume buttons.

Other Thoughts: This was my first try with a 3.5mm jack headset rather than USB, and I'm not a big fan. I will be going back to a USB for my next one.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We apologize for the issues you have experienced with this headset.

Please make sure that the headset is fit snug on your head. If not the device may rely only on the top of your head to hold the headset up which may cause prssure.

We have taken note of your comments on the lack of mute and volume buttons.

Thank you for purchasing one of our products, and for leaving us your valuable feedback.

5 out of 5 eggsSuprising!

Pros: Quite a few, but I will keep them simple. I actually get ill from using a mono headset, so This was originally purchased for my PC on a whim since I needed to replace my half dead one. Needless to say, the seeming strength and durability impressed me, the heaviness had me worried... till I put them on, and Viola! ...A beautiful cacophony of sound assaulted my ears with the carnal pleasure of a, to me, very very high quality transmission of the music i had playing. The Mic input is wonderful, but what truly makes this stand out is the "funny" way they split everything up to the PC, You see, they use a stereo plug jack, that is a variant, is exactly the same as what you will see on any mono headset with mic. This, suprisingly is what I also needed for use on my PS4 to get away from the dreaded mono sound, and back to the assault of noise on both my ears. I cannot stand single ear sound. And even there it excelled!

Cons: The primary cold from the headset to the splitter could do with being maybe 6 to 12 inches longer, but is adequate for what it is
