2 out of 5 eggsBeautiful... for six to eight months.

Pros: -cheap
-smooth tracking, even on less-than-optimal surfaces
-very, very comfortable.
-side buttons are perfectly placed
-scrolling is reliable

Cons: -feels a bit cheap
-...ended up being very cheap:

The whole mouse deteriorated very quickly. After purchase, I absolutely loved the mouse, but as I used it, a cascade of problems presented itself. First, it stopped registering when plugged into the USB. This could be solved by unplugging and replugging it. Then, the connection would die mid-use, then resolve itself, leading to a shower of "mouse unplugged/mouse plugged in" noises and the mouse freezing. Finally, the rubber pads on the side began to slip. This would not be a problem, except they constantly leak glue onto my fingers. Finally, the mouse just died. When I plug it in it is not recognized as a USB device. Joy.

Other Thoughts: If this mouse didn't break down so quickly, it would easily be 6/5 eggs. Unfortunately, the lack of durability makes this a very poor mouse. Don't buy it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood quality/price ratio

Pros: Accurate, comfortable, very cheap

It's cheap enough to buy more than one in case the first one dies. So far, the one I use at work is still tough, but it's still young. It's been only 2 months since I have it and it's keeping it up.

Cons: Shipping cost more than the mouse when it's on sale.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Low cost
- Comfortable
- No frills, 5 button mouse

Cons: - Rubber grips on sides started slipping after a few months.
- Somewhat awkward to use the side buttons with your thumb if you're using a claw grip or even a hybrid grip

Other Thoughts: I use a palm grip when using it normally, and a hybrid palm/claw grip when gaming. It's comfortable in both grips.

My main gripe is the rubber grips on the sides. They started sliding after a few months. I suppose the glue wasn't quite as strong as necessary to keep it in place for a long time.

It's an OK mouse. If you're not going to be gaming this is a great mouse to use for just general use. Considering the price I'd say it's a good value. However, since I'm a gamer if I had to choose again I'd spend the extra money and get a better mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse for the price

Pros: The price is amazing. This is *the* budget mouse.
It's has enough dpi to game with.
Has two side buttons.
Primary buttons are durable.

Cons: The two thumb buttons unfortunately wear out fast. In fact, I think they wore out around 3 months in.

The grips tend to start slipping after a while. You need to super glue it or something to keep them in place. They also tend to catch dirt and grime over time. You need to clean the mouse often or it ends up nasty.

A con for me, but not necessarily for you: the mouse is quite larger than I prefer. I like using a claw grip, but this mouse pretty much forces a palm grip because of its size. It's a little annoying since I have sweaty palms, and don't like having it rest on the mouse.

Other Thoughts: I've bought 3 of these mice over the years. I've been quite satisfied with them. For the price, I like keeping several of these mice around. They're quite good. The major downside is the thumb buttons wearing out so fast. All three of my mice's thumb buttons spaz out when pressed and either triple click or don't click at all. On the other hand, the primary buttons are still fine, and I'm a Starcraft 2 player, so those buttons get a work out. But they still click fine. I'm about to buy a couple more of these mice.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smooth movement; high resolution; good button action; fast configuration on Windows 7; price

Cons: Thumb portion is very recessed, leading to an overall VERY narrow grip

Other Thoughts: I'm going to need some epoxy putty to sculpt into the thumb recession. I like the hand grips of my old MS and Logitech mice better.

5 out of 5 eggsMouse

Pros: It works just fine for me, price.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: For the price I doubt you'll find anything better. I'm going to buy 2 or 3 more for my kids computers.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for larger hands

Pros: A mouse with a nice wheel.

Cons: I personally don't need the button to change the mouse speed. Sometimes a hair will get caught on the bottom.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good little mouse

Pros: great value. I was looking for a black friday deal and newegg didn't have anything cheaper than this, it was $10. Reviews looked good, it's Gigabyte. It is very smooth in use, and the ergonomic shape does help my hand feel more comfortable. The dpi switch is at the top and is smooth and seamless.

Cons: Cord's a bit short but more than enough length for a cpu right next to my desk. There is no real gaming mouse software for this one, but I don't mind.

Other Thoughts: I read on here that some people felt the mouse wheel wasn't "notchy" enough, but I feel it's pretty good and easy to use. It feels almost the same as my 10 year old stock Dell mouse, in terms of the scroll wheel, so I just wanted to say that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse for the price

Pros: I've been looking at this mouse for about a year but hesitated to buy it because of a few negative reviews and since I bought another gaming mouse prior - do not hesitate if you're thinking about buying this mouse.
- Love the feel and ergonomics of this mouse. My hand (med to large) doesn't tire out as fast as with other mice.
- My wife (smaller hand) likes the feel and usage as well.
- The build and 'click' operations of this mouse are solid and don't feel cheap- more like higher priced products so far.
- The little lip above the thumb and the thumb grip/surface give better control and comfort as well, I like that area of the mouse but we'll see if the rubber wears out over time- I had a cheaper mouse where that happened and the adhesive gave out, but hoping this stays better quality.

Cons: Not that these are real cons, but:
- I can see where some would want better dpi control if you're really into that - my gaming style isn't all about that so this works fine for me, I switch over occasionally and fine so far.
- If you like fancy braided cable, this doesn't have that (but the cable is good quality anyway).

Other Thoughts: For this price, I haven't found a better mouse - and love the feel and ergonomics for my hand (unless you're a lefty).
