1 out of 5 eggsright mouse button going bad right out of the package

Pros: cheap and comfortable

Cons: right mouse button failing right out of the package

Other Thoughts: i needed a new mouse after the one i was using started failing after 4 years. I saw the good reviews and the decent price and said what the hell ill try it but right out of the box the right click has super low action. the left click feels good and tight but the right feels like its failing even worse than the one i,m replacing this with. I,m trying to rma but apparently i have to pay for return shipping costs so after that im almost buying a new mouse. why do i have to pay so much to return something thats basically broken.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse but Scroll Wheel Problem

Pros: Fast response, comfortable, good button location and options

Cons: Scroll wheel stopped working after a month

Other Thoughts: If the scroll wheel problem was solved this would be a great mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Everyday Mouse

Pros: Got it as a work mouse...needed something more ergonomic than a generic mouse. Does very well at that. Fits in my hand pretty well. Not as well as say my M65, but that's $50 more. Which brings me to mention the excellent price point.

Cons: Deducted an egg for the cable being shorter than standard by about 6 inches. Makes a world of difference when your trying to wire around and it's just short enough to be a bit annoying. Easily solved but annoying.
As a gaming mouse, 3 DPS noncustomizable settings is useless. It goes from just right to way too high. If you need a gaming mouse, go a little spendy for customizable settings. If you need customizable settings, this is a great mouse.

Other Thoughts: As far as gaming mouses are concerned, I don't think there is another mouse at this price that comes close. Go with this even over the cheaper logitech mice. BUT! If gaming matters to you, spend up a little bit. FPS and single player RPG would like the M65 and MMOs are the expertise of the M95. But if you just need it to work, this does beautifully. Again, the USB wire is shorter than most. It's also a bit slick on top but works around with texture rubber padding on the sides. I'll be putting this mouse through the ringer and I'm assuming that padding will fall off sooner or later. Great mouse for sub-$20

3 out of 5 eggsDecent for Price

Pros: - Good price
- Decent quality for sub-$20
- Comfortable
- Tracks well for sub-$20

Cons: - Cord is too short
- Misclicks within 1 month.

So my biggest problem as a gamer is I can't find a mouse that simply won't misclick after a couple months. I play clicky games, but still, I'd expect a 3-6 month lifespan, not less than a month. After a month, this Gigabyte unfortunately misclicks.

The fix is fair simple, but it's a bit time consuming. It's literally cheaper for me to just buy a new $10-15 mouse and run it another couple months than try to fix the ones that break. Price range doesn't seem to matter much -- the innards are likely similar for all manufacturers (at least, the springs seemingly are)

Other Thoughts: Microsoft old school 5 button intelli-mouse (the beige one) lasted longest (2 years-ish), but you can't find them anymore, and the ones I find are usually over $50 bucks...

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality

Pros: Fit to hand was good and had the right amount of buttons for the little gaming I do.

Cons: Cheap plastic. A little over sensitive as sometimes clicking once was like double clicking. Scroll wheel was the big problem. Didn't work that well from the get go and then after about 2 weeks stopped working completely.

Other Thoughts: It was cheap enough to give it a shot and not lose sleep after it stopped working. Just do yourself a favor and buy something else.

2 out of 5 eggsNot all lasers are created equal.

Pros: Buttons click nicely and the selectable DPI feature works well.

Cons: This mouse feels very cheap. Cheap feeling plastic, even a cheap feeling cord.

It doesn't track well, and the mouse wheel has a strange sensitivity to it.

It doesn't remember what DPI setting it was on. So if you use it on a laptop, or your USB ports power down when you shut down, you'll have to click it every time you power up to get to your preferred setting. I believe it defaults to the highest DPI.

Other Thoughts: This mouse would probably be best used with a palm grip by someone with small hands. The shape on the right side makes it awkward for any other grip, or large hands trying to do a palm grip.

If you're looking in this price range, get a regular mouse without the laser and dpi features. You'll be better off. Otherwise, spend a little more and get a more substantial mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth your time or money

Pros: Good sized mouse for those who have bigger hands or don`t like smaller ones. Worked quite well for the time that it worked.

Cons: Lasted just long enough to pass the Return dead line then proceeded to break. Without any form of warning the scroll wheel stopped working even though it was just fine earlier that day.

Other Thoughts: I knew i wasn`t going to get anything fantastic out of a $20 mouse, but i at least expected it to last me a few months.

If you plan on getting a gaming mouse i would not shoot for anything below $40 or get a extended warranty if you can.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great mouse. Good feel for a larger hand. Haven't had time to really test it out.

Cons: Reason for 1 egg? The scroll button stopped working after day 3. After a bit of investigation I discovered this isn't an uncommon issue.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the ehad ache or risk of getting a defective one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent bang for the buck. Not much different from $50+ logitech gaming mouse I owned before.

Cons: Not much customization (keys, weight, etc)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: responsive, good weight, comfortable grip, good buttons, dpi switch, inexpensive

Cons: the wheel doesn't have as heavy of a scroll as i'd like. it's pretty light. the wheel button also clicks easily, which can be a problem when scrolling long documents or pages

Other Thoughts: little bit of time finding drivers to get the two thumb buttons to work. gigabyte website 404'd the driver link. google found them however. after getting all the buttons to work as i wanted them, i am happy
