4 out of 5 eggsWorks and does it well

Pros: It's light with a responsive sensor, mouse buttons, and scroll wheel.

Cons: The ergonomics are terrible, but definitely livable.

Other Thoughts: Got this for the family computer and it has been nothing but good in terms of function and I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a mouse that will just work.

2 out of 5 eggsSticky buttons!

Pros: Nothing in particular except a relatively low price, though there are cheaper mice out there.

Cons: Even after tweaking the settings, I'm finding this mouse horribly awkward and unresponsive to use. The buttons, in particular, are very sticky and require a heavy hand, which starts to get uncomfortable quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth and simple

Pros: Quick setup, smooth, very straightforward. It's a mouse that works. More comfortable than expected, appropriately responsive. A good mouse is a mouse that you barely notice while using.

Cons: A little light, feels a tad cheap.

Other Thoughts: Somebody said the cable was bent, but I didn't notice any issues with that. I've been using the mouse for lightweight gaming and general everyday use, and it's been a relative pleasure.

4 out of 5 eggsGood cheap mouse

Pros: Looks good. Cheap. Is what it is. Newegg rocks!

Cons: Short Short Short cord. Knew that from the specs going in but man... this cord is short. Don't try to stretch it across a desk without an extender. One Egg off.

Other Thoughts: People who complain about it being small probably are three finger mousers. No hate but for two fingers this mouse is fine.

5 out of 5 eggsNearly 2 Years Later.

Pros: Bought this mouse on 10/9/2010 for my desktop. (works great on my laptop as well.)
Performs very nicely for the price.
It's reliable, light, and gets the job done.

Cons: The mouse is quite slim. (Makes placing index, middle, & ring fingers on all 3 buttons rather awkward.)
Not really an issue if you don't really use the scroll wheel much. It might be an issue if you have large/fat hands. (I'm a size medium according to my lab gloves & this mouse fits me decently.)
USB wire is a bit short. (Well, it's probably because I've been spoiled by wireless mice.)
It's made of a plastic which seems a bit flimsy. (But common, what do you expect with a $8 mouse?)

Other Thoughts: It makes my Logitek wireless mouse feel clunky & heavy when I switch over to it.
I play a ton of FPS/RPG games (Roughly 3-15 hours a day, 7 days a week. Tons of clicking involved) & this mouse has managed to survive thus far.
So although it feels & looks rather flimsy, it decently durable. (I haven't tried chucking it out a window or anything like that though.)

Also some of the more negative reviews regarding this mouse are rather amusing.
Common, "not

5 out of 5 eggsFANTASTIC!!!!

Pros: Verrrrry comfortable, looks nice, and only having 800dpi doesn't even matter, also it's only $8!!!!

Cons: Maybe the materials are a little on the cheap side

Other Thoughts: Great

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: - Cheap
- Durable
- Simple design
- Long cord

Cons: None for the price.

Other Thoughts: Dont buy any other mouse below this price, you'll be sorry. The one I ordered had a unique gigabyte design, guess not anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsUh, What?

Pros: For the guy that said this mouse doesn't compare to the D3ll mice shipped with prebuilt systems, he's dead wrong. The mouse with the pre-builts (I'm currently using one at work and have installed hundreds of the newest iterations) is the worst. The left and right mouse buttons stick if they even work, and the scroll wheel is super clunky. I think I'm getting carpel tunnel from the scroll wheel itself.

Cons: Carpel Tunnel (from the d3ll mouse).

Other Thoughts: If you don't have much money this is a great mouse. I bought one for my mother's build, and I'm buying the gigabyte mouse/keyboard combo to take to work with me. Smooth, slick hardened plastic, and the innards are solid and won't fall apart after continual use.
