2 out of 5 eggsGigabyte mouse

Pros: well ive had this mouse for about a year now, and i worked great for the first 6 months...

Cons: after about 6 months, it just kinda got screwy. clicks would register, id have to shut it off and turn it back on, got to the point where i couldnt game with it any more. be wary.

Other Thoughts: get a wired mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsBattery Life

Pros: Great mouse over all though I do prefer 7 button mice. Nice rubber non slip sides. easy to change DPI setting with buttons on top. Works great on various surfaces.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The specs read up to 1 year of battery life, but I now have to change the batteries after 9 months of ownership using standard Duracell batteries.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad mouse, just not great

Pros: Very comfortable to use. Doesn't cause any hand cramps.
Adjustable DPI. The extra buttons increase my efficiency. Easy to set up. Seems durable. Good battery life. I use this mouse 8+ hours a day and it does pretty well.

Cons: Jumpy connectivity. I occasionally have to set it down firmly on the desk (read: bang) to get it to work again. Picks up any dust that is on the desk and gradually builds up on the underside of the mouse. It's easy enough to clean off but it can affect the DPI sensitivity. I occasionally have to "restart" it to reestablish good connectivity. Kind of frustrating if you're trying to do something important but generally it's not a huge issue.

Other Thoughts: Generally speaking, I like the mouse. I use it 8+ hours every day and it doesn't give me too much grief, some days more than others.

1 out of 5 eggsNo good

Pros: -wireless
-laser
-5 buttons

Cons: - constant miss clicks and scroll stuttering
- movement lag

It started off good for a few weeks then after that there are so many missed clicks and mouse lag that i do not even use this anymore.

Other Thoughts: I would never buy a gigabyte wireless mouse again. I should of read the reviews closer. I suppose you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsChange your mousepad

Pros: Form-fitting to the hand and overall comfortable. I've had it for almost 2 months and have not had to change the batteries while using it every day, so it's obviously very efficient in its power usage.
I enjoy the DPI buttons and the case it comes in. I can change the sensitivity depending on my needs and with the case I know that I have a secure means of transportation.

Cons: At first, I thought the mouse was DOA because it would hop all over the screen when I moved it, so I looked online for some solutions thinking maybe my wireless card's frequency was interfering with that of the mouse. Finding close to nothing and after installing GIGABYTE's mouse software, I was still having the same problem, so I tried moving the mouse closer and it worked, so I thought that was the problem, but then I moved it back and it worked. I then realized that it was my mousepad surface that was causing the erratic tracking because I was using the case of my Lord of the Rings extended edition as my impromptu mousepad when I moved it to the top of my case. So, I replaced my mousepad with one that had only 1 color and it has worked fine ever since.

2 out of 5 eggsWouldn't buy it again

Pros: The mouse itself is well designed, comfortable, and works the way I want it to, when it works.

Cons: Poor wireless connect, misses clicks, and skips around the screen when the wireless usb dongle is more than a foot away. Is very frustrating.

Other Thoughts: When it works, it is a very nice and comfortable mouse. However you have to keep the wireless very close for it to work, less than a foot. Other wise expect missed clicks, wheel not working, cursor skipping around the screen. I cannot recommend, and wished I had read these reviews.

3 out of 5 eggsDropping calls like the iPhone 4

Pros: - ergonomics (for a right handed person)
- weight
- clicker feel
- scroll wheel feel (ratchet style scrolling response aka click)
- dpi adjustment on the fly
- 2 AA batteries (was included with mine also most of the weight)
- wireless

Cons: - Signal loss/strength (constant miss clicks and scroll stuttering)
- Movement lag (goes in and out sometime no ms delay to a visually noticeable ms delay)
- scroll wheel has a angle to it

Other Thoughts: If this mouse had a better signal strength it would easily be one of my favorite mice. I have to find the optimum placement of the RF receiver to keep the signals from being lost. May be returning this in favor of another wireless mouse (or even corded). I need a long cord for the mouse because of how my office desk is situated and decided to try wireless. I should have listened to other reviewers and stayed away from this one.

My recommendation is look elsewhere if you are in need of a gaming mouse or every day use mouse. Signal loss can be frustrating.

2 out of 5 eggsGood mouse except ONE major flaw

Pros: -Comfortable
-Good weight, doesn't feel cheap
-Can do claw or palm grip depending on hand size
-Only takes one battery, so saving 50% on replacements
-No problems with missing clicks or intermittent tracking - BUT see cons!

Cons: -As soon as I take the mouse any farther than a foot from the tiny receiver, I start experiencing the missing mouse clicks and intermittent tracking that others have stated. So I put my receiver on a USB extension cable so that it sits within inches of my mouse, and it works perfect. Needing a cable for a **wireless** mouse to work right is a major major design flaw. Only two eggs because at least it works great when using it as a "wired" mouse.

Other Thoughts: FOR THE PEOPLE MISSING CLICKS OR LOSING TRACKING:

it seems to me the probable cause is the wireless receiver is too far from the mouse. Move it to within 12" and see if your problems disappear.

5 out of 5 eggsGood economic mouse.

Pros: Ergonomic
Economic/Cheap
Five buttons
Changeable dpi

Cons: No horizontal scrolling on mouse wheel but I knew that buying the mouse.

Other Thoughts: I would recomend this mouse to anyone looking for a good, solid, long-lasting mouse for a low cost. I have been satisfied with my purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsWould not recommend

Pros: Heavy, solid feel, comfortable to use, nice packaging

Cons: After less than a week this mouse began pausing/skipping and not registering clicks. Annoying during regular use, totally unacceptable for gaming. Fresh batteries made no difference.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed in its performance; seemed like a quality mouse in both feel and appearance. Would not recommend this product.
