5 out of 5 eggsre-review

Pros: I originally gave this mouse 2 stars and was going to return it, but I decided to use it a little longer because I really wanted to like it. I have to say, it has grown on me a lot. I can't believe how much better the sensor is on this compared to the G500 I was using before and, once you get adjusted, it is quite comfortable. I LOVE this mouse now.

Cons: *WARNING* - You need to let yourself acclamate to the way this mouse is shaped! Especially if you are a serious palm grip user!

It took me a few days to fully get comfortable, but just be patient and give it a chance. I now understand why Gigabyte chose the ergonomic design of this mouse. You pretty much have to use a claw grip in order to get comfortable with it, but that's the point - it forces you to use a grip that is almost universally accepted as the better form for gaming. I wasn't a palm grip user per se; I used a more hybrid style, but the form of my hand has gotten a lot more "disciplined" ever since I started using this thing and, after getting used to it, I feel like I now have greater control and am overall more accurate in games.

Other Thoughts: I truly regret jumping the gun and reviewing this mouse sooner than I should have. I wish Newegg would let you edit reviews you've already done before, but oh well.

If anyone is wondering - the "Thor" logo on the mouses body does not light up like you normally see on Razer mice.

2 out of 5 eggsNot what I was expecting

Pros: Good sensor, stylish, and inexpensive.

Cons: This mouse is just too uncomfortable for me. It's pretty big in terms of height, but there's not a lot of width to it. I found that using a palm grip with this thing was just out of the question; you pretty much have to use a claw grip, which I didn't really mind. Even then, I still found it awkward to handle and, after gaming for an hour or so, my hand started to cramp up pretty bad. What a shame because, at this price, I really wanted to like this mouse.

Other Thoughts: I've owned a Razer Naga and Logitech G500 in the past; never had a problem with the comfort of those two (although their overall quality is another story). I'm returning this and looking for something different.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad mouse per se, but if you have big hands then I would try to find a way to test this mouse out before buying it to see if you like it or not!

4 out of 5 eggspoor shape

Pros: Works as expected.

Cons: The bottom half is too narrow. It's very awkward and uncomfortable to use.

Other Thoughts: If you have a larger hand and need a bulkier mouse, then this is not the mouse for you.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Mouse

Pros: I love this mouse. I read the reviews and comments about the mouse being larger than normal. I have large hands, so I purchased the mouse. It really is a great mouse, especially for the price. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommended for anyone, but especially if you have larger hands.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it.

Pros: After 3 weeks of steady use, I can say I just love how well it glides compared to other mice with the small plastic pads.
This mouse has 3 sections that are like silicone or something for pads.

Cons: Should be a tad wider maybe.

4 out of 5 eggsawesome mouse

Pros: This is a great hybrid user/gamer mouse. DPI change on the fly with indicator lights is awesome for gaming. Thumb buttons make internet navigating quicker. Also has a decently long cable if needed.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality on the cheap

Pros: Good design
Feels nice on the hands
Good shape for my style

Cons: It isn't totally ergonomic. I can see how people won't like it if they don't like to "claw" the mouse and would rather palm.

Other Thoughts: I don't palm mouses usually when I play games so the mouse is great for me, but those of you who like to have a full handed grip may want something different.
