3 out of 5 eggsKnow what you're getting yourself in for!

Pros: -Adjustable High DPI
-Very clicky

Cons: -Small design
-Feels awkward for bigger hands
-Mouse wheel should be up further. Way too far back in the middle finger so much so that it doesn't feel natural

Other Thoughts: I'm being very generous giving it 3 eggs. I can't say there was any fault with the product in and of itself. Everything below is based on PERSONAL PREFERENCE ONLY and shouldn't reflect the mouse in general.

I have to say that this is inferior to the M6800 mouse in just about every single way. It's half the price, fits like a glove on bigger hands, the 2 thumb buttons are sized just right and placed perfectly, the mouse wheel is exactly where it should be, and it just feels right shape wise in your hand. Now you can tell it isn't made with high quality in mind, but I have to question why Gigabyte didn't take that original WELL POPULARIZED design and just improve it. This mouse feels like a major step backwards.

Down to the rubber for the thumb, nothing about this feels right. I failed to realize it was a laser mouse (shame on me), but what's the deal in the first place with all the new high-end Gigabyte mice being laser now instead of the award winning optical mouse? Its been awhile, but this reminded me why I hated laser mice and personally optical is better. Not more than 5 minutes after putting it on my mouse pad did a spec of dust get in and literally turned the cursor into a lag fest until I had to basically white room my computer area. With that said the settings never felt right. The 800/1600/3200 DPI settings by default felt completely different than the M6800 optical mouse. The 800 felt like an optical 400 and the 1600 felt like the optical 800. You get the point. Funny thing is while playing a game everything suddenly changed. The 1600 Laser DPI that felt like 800 DPI Optical in Windows felt like 1600 Optical DPI again. Threw my entire gaming session off as I couldn't seem to grasp what the hell was going on. Drove me nuts for the next hour until I ripped it out of my computer and threw it back in the drawer where it will stay permanently. I'd rather deal with my M6800 that's starting to double click than this new mouse. In fact I will be ordering more of those mice before they eventually stop selling optical and a superior design for inferior mice that cater to who knows who.

I reiterate this is just a personal preference review, but I think those familiar with the M6800 would like to know that this mouse is nothing like it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse!!!!

Pros: The mouse has worked smoothly and perfectly since the day I bought it over 2 years ago! The weight of the mouse is perfect, and I love the feel of the grips on my thumb. Overall couldn't be happier with this mouse.

Cons: It would be nice if you could make the LEDs stop pulsing and just be constantly on all the time.

Other Thoughts: I would say that it is definitely the best mouse you can buy for the price.

1 out of 5 eggsworst mouse ever

Pros: None.

Cons: Absolute worst mouse I have ever owned. The mouse "jumps" around on the screen and is so inaccurate that it can't be used for anything of consequence. I've tried using it both with my Mac and my Windows Laptop and it has the same problem on both. It's been sitting in my "computer stuff" box that has cables and extras for over a year now and I thought I'd just try it out again but now I remember why I put it in the box. This mouse isn't even worth $1 because it is so poor.

Other Thoughts: I won't buy another Gigabyte product after this anymore, and I loved their main boards for building my own computers.
I ended up buying a $20 Logitech keyboard/mouse combo and that mouse works so much better that I've been using it the past year plus.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty good mouse

Pros: Comfortable grip. Convenient dpi button. Reasonably priced. Worked great for Dota 2 and SC2.

Cons: I've had this mouse for a year and a half now and the left mouse button if failing. It registers multiple clicks and clicking and dragging is near impossible. I don't feel a gaming mouse should fail even with heavy use.

Other Thoughts: Nice while it worked. Not sure why this mouse fails while my old Microsoft mouse from 2000 still functions.

2 out of 5 eggsGigabyte laser mouse

Pros: The lights are nice.
All the buttons work good.

Cons: The lights are always fading in and out. Too bad they arent steady.

The sensor does not work very well on almost any surface for me. My cursor jumps around a lot.

Other Thoughts: This will turn into a backup as soon as i get my new mouse.

I wish I would have went with my gut and got the optical version.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good mouse.

Pros: -Great feel
-Good quality scroller (good for fps games when switching weapons.)
-Cool lights that change color
-Nice side buttons that you can easily configure
-Excellent price

Cons: -none

Other Thoughts: This mouse was given to me by a friend about 2 years ago and has been great. I will probably never go back to a regular mouse again. I would highly recommend this mouse for a advid gamer or everyday use.

5 out of 5 eggsGood All-Round Mouse

Pros: -Multiple DPI settings for custom feel
-Multiple color highlight settings
-Smooth surface reading
-Middle mouse button is the first I have ever found to work consistently, feel smooth without loud clacks, and last for length of life (thus far).
-Mouse size fits hand shape well

Cons: Only con I could think of is the side buttons can be pressed by accident very easily if you are not used to them, but only took a few days to get used to.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse with features of higher-tier/priced mice without the crazy cost. This thing seems like it will last for a very long time. I can barely tell it has any use and I am coming up on a year since its purchase. If you want more than a cheapy mouse but don't want to shell out crazy cash, then this is for you.
