DCT Factory M-2500B Black 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel PS/2 Wired Optical Mouse

Pros: bought 2 of these in 2006, when FPS and MMO gaming wore out a previous mouse. first mouse lasted almost 4 yrs, second mouse still going strong. Gave up MMOs in 2011, so second mouse has not seen as much action, but still do some FPS from time to time. Used to buy cheap mice in groups and go through them in about 6-8 months of gaming, this has been a surprise

Cons: buttons were a bit touchy at first, but not worse than most cheap mice. was fine after a little breaking in and getting used to it.

Other Thoughts: Recently started building a new system and moving the old trusty mouse over made me wonder how old it was. price has only gone up $0.01 since i bought mine, great job newegg!

Pros: PS/2
Scroll Wheel is fairly smooth.
Tracking is decent.
Crisp Click.
Decent(though not great length) cord. Maybe 5ft

Cons: Blinding blue light. I have to be careful to make sure the light is totally covered, lest it blind me. This light is seriously piercing, and the primary reason I just gave this mouse away to someone who needed a PS/2.

Crisp click. It takes a good deal of force to click, doubling clicking can be imprecise.

Other Thoughts: If you want a cheap mouse with a crisp click, this is a good one. If a searing blue light will bother you, I'd look elsewhere.
After a year of very infrequent use(backup computer) the left click is getting a little weak. 1/20 it doesn't register.

Pros: Nothing much to say here - It works. Using it on a KVM.

Other Thoughts: The mouse wheel did not work when I got it. The mouse itself was cheap so I didn't want to throw away extra resources to return it.

Pros: Cool LED Light

Cons: Wont turn the LED Light off same time computer turn off. Very lightly for my taste.

Pros: The mouse works, contrary to what the other reviews might say. The mouse is average sized and easy to move around on my optical pad so it's all good. The mouse was way faster than usual but after toying with the mouse controls in the control panel it was good to go.

Cons: This mouse for whatever reason likes to double click when you clearly only clicked once. It gets annoying after a while. I'm not sure if it happens if you click the mouse to slowly or it's just erratic but it happens. If you play any games on your computer like an FPS or an MMO I would suggest getting this mouse as an extra click could say delete an item on accident or shoot your teammate in the back on accident... :\

Other Thoughts: I still use this mouse because I'm too lazy to clean out my dependable yet ever so dirty ball mouse. I gave this product 4 stars because even though it has a few annoyances it still functions well. Just don't game with it.

Pros: Either I am low maintenance, or the people that have cons about this mouse have been spoiled by expensive ones. I found that it was a little fast for my taste, but that was nothing that going into the mouse options could not fix. I had a mouse before that had jumped all about randomly, but I fixed that with taping black construction paper on to my mouse pad. I am using the same black construction paper-layered mouse pad with this mouse, and there are no problems. I did not expect the blue LED shining through the mouse wheel, but I certainly do enjoy it. I find that this mouse is wonderful for any price, but I am really glad that it was cheap.

Other Thoughts: All I wanted was a cheap, basic mouse, and I got what I wanted. Actually even more with the LED!

Cons: ERRATIC CURSOR MOVEMENT, even when using a mousepad. It's barely functional.
