1 out of 5 eggsNot for me

Pros: Looks nice. Feels well built, if a little light.

Cons: It's not actually any larger than my dead Logitech T-RB22, which I was hoping it would replace, but it feels larger because it isn't ergonomically designed.

You have to take your finger off of the ball to left click, which makes it impossible for gaming.

Horribly uncomfortable.

Other Thoughts: If you have big hands this might be usable. I'd definitely find some way to try it before you buy though.

1 out of 5 eggsWhat idiot designed this mouse?

Pros: Durable.

Cons: The position of the left and right click buttons is horrible, you can't click with your thumb so your only option is to move your hand off the ball to click. You have to arch your hand to use the ball. After 10 minutes of use my hand was sore and cramping.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money.

2 out of 5 eggsA cross between a brick and a mouse

Pros: The trackball gives the impression of having serious durability.

Cons: I have hands that are both large and strong from being a massage instructor. The amount of force needed to activate the left mouse button is so great as to invite injury over time. Further, the position is awkward. As a game controller this mouse absolutely WILL NOT WORK because the time to click is about three times normal, putting you at a severe disadvantage.

Other Thoughts: If you are not a gamer, and durability is more important to you than function, perhaps this will work for you. For everyone else, this is not the trackball you are looking for.
The scrollwheel is also controlled by the thumb, btw, making your thumb very busy.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's alright for a trackball

Pros: My hand fits nicely on this mouse but then again I do have large hands... You do have to turn the mouse a bit to rest your hand and operate in a comfortable way.

Cons: A bit large for the average user

Other Thoughts: Unless you have large hands I suggest you do not buy this mouse this beast is 6 1/2 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a great mouse

Pros: I'm sure there are some pros to be found here but this mouse was nothing like what I was after and even farther from what I was expecting so... yeah

Cons: It's huge, nearly twice the size I was expecting. The trackball is largely suspended into the casing making it hard to move very far at once. Reviews about the left click being hard to use are understated, almost impossible to reliably click with the thumb, found myself using my index finger instead displacing my hand from the trackball making it a very awkward mouse to use.

The wheel isn't bad until you try to push the button, you have to use your entire hand to anchor the mouse to push it. Not a huge deal just a little stiffer than it ought to be. Was hoping for an alternative mouse to the age old Logitech Marble Mouse. No dice.

All round bad purchase choice for me.

Other Thoughts: I can't imagine what practical use this mouse might have, maybe graphics design or something? I have no idea really. Very dissapointed.

4 out of 5 eggsA couple quirks, but overall a nice product.

Pros: The trackball itself is very good. The ball is nice and large, and rolls easily. The scroll wheel is great. The scroll wheel also doubles as a middle button. I don't see it anywhere in the documentation, but it's a great feature. On Linux, everything works as expected. Aside from the left click issue (see below) it's a great product.

Cons: The left click button is not easy to push with my thumb. I prefer to use my index and middle fingers for the ball itself, and click with my thumb. It is possible to left click with the thumb, but it does have a bit of an awkward feel. The right button is much easier to click.

Other Thoughts: I had to give up a logitech 4 button trackball mouse because the buttons were getting flaky. This will take a bit of getting used to, but I like it.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Looks great and the trackball is very precise.

Cons: I bought this in hopes of replacing my aging Microsoft Explorer, not a chance of that. The general shape of the mouse makes it difficult to click the left button. The scroll wheel is extremely difficult to roll, if fact you need to hold the mouse firmly with your left finger when ever using the wheel or the mouse will slide to the side. I would not buy this again.

Other Thoughts: None
