3 out of 5 eggsImperator Review

Pros: Having had this mouse for over a year now I feel that I should review it now.
The performance of this mouse is really good. I have always been a big fan of razer since moving from a deathadder to this one. I was not surprised at how responsive it was when it comes to gaming which I do alot.
Love the style and feeling on my hand to first person shooters.
The marcos are a plus.

Cons: After about 10 months of constant use the left mouse started to not respond to well so I have to click harder now.
The software is a litte buggy.
All in all I expected this mouse to last longer then stock mouses I have used throughout the years and was disappointed. Being a gamer and all our mouse is one of our weapons we have to our advantage.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse

Pros: Drivers are solid, good size, ergonomic, fine after 2 years.

Cons: Will not work on fiberboard desk or even Razer's own hard mouse pad (exactmat) (which makes no sense), yet any other mouse I've ever used reads them just fine.

Other Thoughts: Make sure to have a cloth mouse pad, because fiber board and even Razer's own mouse pad ExactMat won't work with this.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but left click problems after 2 weeks

Pros: Bought this as a gift for a friend with larger hands who was using a Deathadder that was reaching the end if its lifespan (5+ years). By all practical accounts he loved it and couldn't be happier: it was extremely accurate, fit well in his hands, and had great customization options. That is, until...

Cons: The left click suddenly stopped auto-firing when being held down, and then later gave out completely. The RMA was conducted through Razer, and there weren't any hangups in the process, but it was overall very slow and in the end they replaced his product with a refurbished one. Not really too happy about that...

Other Thoughts: Both my friend and I have been using Deathadders for ages and overall really like the style and precision of Razer's products, but this whole experience with the suddenly broken left click and slow RMA has been somewhat disenchanting...

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome mouse

Pros: Awesome shape and response times.

Cons: It is a little light.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse for long extended clicking, not what I would use for an FPS or MMO, but works great for here at work. I know the newer version is out, but I got this one on sale and it is ROCKIN'!!

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Mouse!

Pros: Great feel and comfortable. I love the adjustable side buttons and the customization. Seems durable and well built.

Cons: I wish the profile switching were a bit more robust with an indicator or something that tells you what profile you're on.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap components?

Pros: Excellent movement feel overall. Software is very configurable. So much so, it may take a while to get the movement to your liking.

Cons: Left click went soft and started missing about 1 in 5 clicks. I purchased this mouse in prep for a LAN party. Had it for nearly 2 weeks, went to the LAN, then the cheap components and manufacturing of the mouse ruined the weekend.

Other Thoughts: For spending 80 bucks on a mouse, you'd think they wouldn't use cheap components to put the thing together. Especially when the mouse didn't last friggin 2 weeks. Never again will I use a Razer product. They are built entirely too cheaply making it overpriced garbage.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse.

Pros: Very comfortable due to its ergonomic features. Light weight, but not too light. Pretty colors.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: Used to use Logitech mice, but not I'll probably be using Razer mice.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Clear

Pros: Sharp Movement, very fast response times, and is extremely comfortable.

Cons: Mouse stops working every minute or so and will randomly move up/down for ~5 seconds.

Other Thoughts: Latest firmware and drivers...such a shame...it'd be awesome if it worked.
