-Scroll wheel doesn't click loudly, nor does it fail to provide feedback, a nice balance in between
-I can turn off the LEDs when I find them annoying (sometimes I sleep on my couch, whatever)
-Extra buttons (yay, buttons)
-Nice cloth cord that doesn't get nasty like plastic-sheathed cords
-Fantastic driver. I like the 1,000DPI setting so that my mouse-strokes are always smooth and controlled. It also provides a mouse speed setting PLUS a really awesome acceleration setting. No more turning the speed setting down because the cursor exceeds lightspeed in 3 pixels or less!
-Superb little Teflon feet that make the mouse glide as smooth as frozen snot. They also won't ablate into nothing before my grandchildren die. They also don't pick up EVERY hair on my desk.

Cons: -[Not entirely a CON!] The shape is odd. Missing a right hand, I have always had to use right-handed or universal mice, so I've developed a claw-grip where I just grasp mice with my fingertips and thumb-pad. The design forced me to learn how to rest my whole palm on the mouse, with my pinkie relaxed and extended along the side of the mouse. Not a horrible thing, except that the placement of the spare buttons is RIGHT beneath my thumb, so I am accidentally clicking the forward-backward buttons in games or browsers constantly. *I rather like the relaxed-pinkie design*, but the stupid buttons need to be moved so they are IN FRONT of my thumb whereupon I might voluntarily click them, instead of where I am gripping the mouse. It's like they want you to rest your thumb beneath the buttons and roll the edge of it onto the button. My thumb won't do that; I have a hitchhiker's thumb, so I grip mice with the ball of my thumb and not the pad. Seriously, get simpler with the button shapes and move them OUT OF THE WAY.
-I liked that shape after I got used to it but the side buttons are still pis**ng me off. I just avoid them.
-The side buttons are annoying.
-They should move the side buttons, or at least re-orient them.
-Did I mention the side buttons?
-The scroll wheel doesn't side-scroll! What kind of CARP is that?! You ask me to pay this much for a mouse but you can't be bothered to include a simple feature like side-scrolling? DO IT TO IT, SMALLS! This is the reason I only gave it four stars, and if I wasn't so d***ed happy with the tracking quality, I'd give it three.

Other Thoughts: -Some people lambasted this device because it gets hot. I think it's because you need to turn off the little LEDs. The thing is made of plastic, so unless you're poking airholes into it, you will have heat-encapsulation. It's how plastic things are!!
-Others have mentioned the cord. IT IS STIFF. I wasn't sure about this at first, but it massages just fine to be far better than plastic-sheathed cords. I just gently bent it around my thumb and even sat of it for 30 minutes, now it bends and flexes just fine. It feels much more durable than typical cords.
-They swapped the mouse buttons. Yep, the computer sees [PRIMARY BUTTON] and [SECONDARY BUTTON] on a universal mouse, Razer simply swapped those buttons. If you can't adapt CHANGE IT IN THE SETTINGS. It took me all of seven seconds to go to Control Panel and swap the two... and then I decided I would learn the other way for giggles 'n grins. If you don't like it, SWAP IT.
-Some people griped about having to install the driver. I don't want to install a driver, either, but I so very muchly enjoy this driver. You can't get sweet sweet DPI without some kind of driver, and this one works well.

All in all, I think it is a pretty good mouse. The shape requires that you are a palm-gripper, not a claw-gripper, and if you have a hitchhiker's thumb you might not be entirely satisfied with it. I got this one for $23 Open-Box and I think it was WELL worth the price. I might even pay $50 for it. $70-$80 is kind of high, but the marketplace will decide if the cost stays or falls. I can't speak for longevity of this mouse, I have only had it for a few months, build the "build quality", as some call it, seems sturdy, I can't pry off the Teflon feet or any buttons, etc. I like the way the cord comes out of the mouse, it doesn't feel like I'll crush it the way I do my headphone cords crush at the jack.

Pros: The pros are:
Feels comfortably in your left hand.
The lights make it useful to find the mouse in the dark.
The DPI can be set to different stages from 400 to 3500 or you can set it manually.
Full customization of the buttons.
Can turn off the lights.

Cons: The cons are:
By default, the mouse clicks are inverted.
It requires installing the Razer Synapse for the buttons to be customizable and requires an account for it to do so.

Other Thoughts: Good mouse overall, its a huge change considering I used to own a Logitech G500 which had more DPI, buttons to change speed(no software required) and weights which I loved. The DeathAdder LHE feels so good on your left hand, its like heaven.

Pros: True left hand mouse. Feels good and smooth. Works well with my small hands. Too bad they don't hold up.

Cons: I have purchased 2 of these in 4 years. The first one the wheel broke. The second one the mouse buttons stopped working. @ $80 with shipping that is $40 a year to own a left handed mouse. I feel like I am paying rent to own this mouse.

Other Thoughts: I have had other mice last for years. It is too bad as I really like this mouse after using right handed mice all these years. But the cost of ownership per year is to high. If this cost $30 I could live with replacing it every 2 years.

Pros: Great mouse for precision gaming . On the fly sensitivity setting. Great Software for custom configuration. Looks nice and feels awesome in the palm.

Cons: In the Past razor software did not require you to login to change your configuration. That could be a problem if you set this up without internet connection.
Comes with the mouse button left and right function switched from standard mice.

Took 7 business days to ship although I chose expedited shipping. But thats the suppliers fault

Other Thoughts: Best left hand mouse you can buy. I have owned 3 of these now and dont think I would bother with any other gaming mouse. This is my first left handed mouse as I have always used standard one's. I did not like how primary and secondary buttons where switched but you can change that in the software as well as the control panel if you dont always want to run the software. The older software did not require you to login. I do see the cloud idea as good intention , but it should not require you to login, there should be an option to change settings without a login. Digital Moose shipping was slow for expedited option. New egg uses purolator and that takes no more than 3 days. Digital moose used canada post and that was slower than molasses on a cold winter day. But no reason to complain much or deduct oany eggs.

Pros: The material used for this mouse is easy to clean and comfortable even after a few hours hammering away in Diablo 3. I like that there is software included that allows you to fine tune the responsiveness of this mouse, which is preferable for mouse heavy games versus normal usage during spreadsheets and similar programs. Being able to save these as different profiles is a plus. After 4 years of hard use it still performs like a champ and looks just as good as the day I opened the box.

Cons: NONE. This left hander mouse is a Godsend and a MUST for anyone who is a 10-key data entry tasker or left handed gamer.

Other Thoughts: I have this same mouse on my older PC that I have used for the last 4 years and recommended to a few customers as well. It's still holding up great from constant gaming use as well as normal computer use.

Pros: As a leftie in a right-handed world, I have to say that there is NO SUCH THING as an ambidexterous mouse. They fit no one comfortably.
This mouse fits. During the summer I've been know to game from 8-10 hours straight and the mouse never give up. My first purchase of this particular mouse was in 2011, and I have replaced it once, but that was because a rightie tossed it across the room in fury that it "didn't work right". (Now he knows how I felt with his stupid mouse).

Anyway, if you're a left-handed gamer, the mouse has good response and handling, and it fits my hand comfortably. I like it so much that I've purchased 2 more as backup, so when it dies I'm not stuck with another mouse that doesn't fit. (I just wish I'd done that with my favorite keyboard and sneakers.)

Cons: The top surface of the mouse has a leathery texture, probably to prevent slipping, but it shows wear and develops a weird "build-up" that doesn't clean well.

Pros: The only option for gamers. The logitech lefty is OK, but this mouse is better.

Cons: I did have my first one fail after almost 2 years. I was about a week from the warranty so they DID replace it for free. My main button would double click sporadically.

Other Thoughts: I have recommended this mouse to every lefty I know and none have had failures. I probably put a billion clicks on the thing before it failed, as I am an extremely heavy user not only for gaming but for my job as a designer 40+ hours a week as well. The replacement is older than 2 years now and works fine, it has a slightly heavier click so i suspect they corrected the issue with a new component.

Pros: * Made for a lefty
* Great rubber texture
* Nifty glowing snake and wheel
* No fatigue after years of use

Cons: Absolutely none

Other Thoughts: I've been using this mouse for like 5 years. Bought two for home and one for work. It's been going strong after 4 years of use and I've almost worn through the rubber coating on the index finger button. Bought an extra for backup.

Pros: Feels great in your hand ... your left hand! Thumb buttons in prefect location. Response Time is great. Style is slick.

Cons: Interesting enough, small Cons is it takes getting use to having a right button function as left click.
