1 out of 5 eggsDissapointing

Pros: Looks great. Worked great for a while.

Cons: You would think for the price these things would be able to last more than a year. After about 10 months the right click stopped registering. It's basically useless for gaming now. Very upset with this product. Going back to Logitech.

4 out of 5 eggsProblem pairing-returning mouse

Pros: Mouse had good size, weight and feel. Really liked the charging dock. Good placement for the side buttons for easy access using thumbs. Cool color changing. Very good material, felt sturdy and buttons have a satisfying click. Form and functions are both awesome. Synapse software for the mouse gives LOTS of options to configure the mouse. You can really really customize the buttons with the multiple profiles.

Cons: Not a con on the mouse but on the one I received. From day one it had difficulty pairing (i've got windows 7). After docking to charge and undocking the lights were not working. I googled to find that software update sometimes solved the issue. Software update resolved the lights issue. Then the problem with pairing started. I would leave it to charge and when coming back to use it, it just would not pair. Tried to pair it for almost half hour, with the pair buttons and it did not work at all. Thought it was the USB port I was using on the computer so switched it and it worked for a bit. But when I docked and undocked it, it did not work again. I could replug the usb cable into the computer but that would really not be functional on a daily basis. It may be a defective piece, but at this point I really did not care for it. I have a Razer Sabertooth Elite which is just working great. So kinda was disappointed with the mouse. I am returning mine.
Con on the design - there is a button at the back which you have to slide to wireless to use mouse in wireless mode and slide to wired/charging mode if charging or using as wired. I had two annoyances with it. First, just having to slide the switch prior to placing on the dock and then slide it again to wireless when using it. Second, if I'm leaving the computer on while charging it, then I'd have to be careful not to press any of the buttons when turning the mouse over and sliding the switch. I don't get why for the premium price, Razer does not have something that auto detects and switches without having the user slide this button.

Other Thoughts: In terms of the size of the mouse, I was using a Logitech Performance MX and Naga felt smaller (size) and flatter (angled orientation/design of MX) after having used the MX for so long.

2 out of 5 eggsCool Mouse, Terrible Durability

Pros: Awesome mouse, useful, good battery, great feel.

Cons: DOES NOT LAST AND THE LASER GOES OUT. I HAVE HAD TWO AND NOW I HAVE TWO BROKEN ONES.

Other Thoughts: Such an awesome mouse, I bought my first one when they first came out I love Razer products but I am never buying this mouse again.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Standard Razer quality of mouse. Side inserts help find something comfortable for you.

Cons: This might be a problem with my drivers but periodically doesn't register the mouse every couple hours or so. When its plugged in i don't have the problem though.

2 out of 5 eggsHow the mighty have fallen

Pros: Good weight, feels solid, programmable lighting, programmable buttons.

Cons: Wireless problems.

I have gone through 4 of these mice and had the EXACT same problem on multiple machines.

The mouse works great in wireless mode at first, then about 30 minutes to 1 hour of use (sometimes sooner), the wireless will start to misbehave.

It will essentially hang up or pause on you, with cursor being frozen in place. When it unfreezes, the cursor is roughly where it should be had the mouse not paused on you.

This does not start occurring until AFTER you install Synapse 2.0, and I have confirmed this on 2 computers with separate mice.

I first had my original RMA'd through Newegg, but the second had the same problem. I then got one from a local retailer, same problem.

Each time I conversed extensively with Razer support, and each time they determined the mouse was defective.

The last one I went through Razer to do my RMA, hoping they had a more recent batch that wasn't plagued with this issue. I was wrong.

The problem does NOT occur in wired mode. In fact, the mouse is great in wired mode, just not enough to justify the cost of the mouse.

Final though: I used to be an avid Razer fan because their stuff lasted. I in fact still have a Lycosa, replaced my still working Mamba with this defective Naga Epic, I still have a Nostromo, and I have a Sabertooth. All with some age on them, and all with no problems.

If this is the quality that Razer is producing now, I may have to find other sources for my hardware.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty Good Mouse

Pros: It has a very nice feel and look to it. The aesthetic is very professional and has a "gaming" feel about it. It is very responsive. It has a large color selection. Braided cord, gold plated usb, and male to male plug.

Cons: It looks kind of cheap and feels kind of cheap. The last Naga I bought lasted 2 years, which isn't terrible; however, I don't want t think about purchasing a new mouse every other year due faulty product. I have owned this for only 3 months, and it's still going pretty strong for now.

Other Thoughts: Do NOT purchase as a laptop mouse. You still need the insanely long cord and a wireless station to connect your mouse to a laptop.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I absolutely recommend this mouse to anyone who is even somewhat serious about mmo gaming. The 12 buttons on the side are invaluable; I don't know how I ever played without this mouse.

The stick-on training aids were amazing with learning the mouse. The colour changing aspect is just a bonus.

The cord is tough, the mouse itself is tough (I've dropped it a few times).

Cons: The battery life can get a little hinky if you sit and game for hours on end without setting it in the dock, but not enough to remove an egg.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good for Fingertip Grip mouse style, cool color cycling, love the side buttons. For some reason, the scroll wheel excites me.

Cons: Mouse button 4 and 5 are on top of the mouse.

Other Thoughts: I had to use a USB 3.0 slot for the the Synapsis 2.0 software to see my mouse in wired mode. Otherwise, wireless mode always worked with the software.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price

Pros: Comfortable with multiple rests for ring and pinky finger in-box
Twelve thumb keys
Customizable color palette
Sturdy

Cons: Wireless lasted about six weeks before crapping out and skipping
Razer customer support
Razer software support

Other Thoughts: This is probably the most comfortable mouse I've ever had. The buttons never failed on me and it still works despite having some pretty hard falls three years into its life.

However, it's still a razer. about a month and a half after purchase, the wireless began breaking down and the mouse started skipping across the screen. Changing DPI levels had no effect and customer support said, "Use it wired." LOL. I've been using it wired ever since because wireless simply doesn't work.

The synapse software is just awful. AWFUL. It hurts you in boot, takes up more resources than it rightly should, looks hideous and is downright annoying. Oh, if you having a Logitech gaming keyboard like the 510 or 710+, the Logitech and Razer software will prevent each other from booting up.

The Logitech G600 has as many buttons as the Naga Epic, won't prevent your keyboard from booting up, uses a less obtrusive software, is priced at $79.99 against the $129.99 of the naga epic, and is on the way to my house right now!
