5 out of 5 eggsSWTOR Headset

Pros: Cool Headset...
Cool Lights...

Thats about it...
First product I have bought from Razer, probably never buying again since the poor build quality....

Hasn't broken yet...

Cons: Lights are always on; You can turn them off but they reset once you restart your computer.

Made up of Hard Plastic, creeks and reeks...

Unimpressed by the quality on how the drivers (speakers) are soldered on; Once they reach a specific time wear they will disconnect; but I can fix that.

(You probably know this)
The Dolby 7.1 is virtual not actually 7.1 system...
If you turn it on the balance of sound leans towards the left. No matter how I tune it the virtual 7.1 is bugged.

Lights get annoying after awhile because they heat up the headset and causes discomfort while decreasing the longevity.

Other Thoughts: Probably never buying from Razer again..

The box it came in has better build quality and more thought put into it...

2 out of 5 eggsCHEAP PRODUCT DO NOT BUY

Pros: Good Sound Quality.
Good Mic Quality.
Good Cable.

Cons: The plastic on it is very very cheap and it ended up just breaking in pieces on me in 5 months. I sent it in for an RMA and they blamed me for there cheap product and will not replace it. I will never buy another razer product from them again if they wont man up to a defunct product of theres.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy save your money and buy another headset from another company that wont blame you for there cheap made product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset, no problems

Pros: A great headset with super clear sound, after installing Synapse 2.0 and working with it it is the best headset I have ever owned. The mic is super responsive and does great at filtering background noise. When i look at the mic in the recording panel the sound input jumps 2 bars and it sounds like you are talking directly to a person. The lights and interchangeable side panels just add to the awesomeness

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I read many reviews complaining about issues with the mic or sound quality and after trying i can say that none of them are true, at least in my experience.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible mic

Pros: The speakers are ok

Cons: Mic continually dies and requires unplugging and replugging to get it to work again.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: The sound clarity is amazing. The quality is outstanding, best razer headset to date! I have owned multiple razer headsets including a few newer headsets and NONE of them compare to this in comfort or sound quality.

Cons: the razer synapse 2.0 software is buggy, but it is still in beta.

2 out of 5 eggsSeriously Disappointed

Pros: The pro.. sound quality and placement of headset controls.

Cons: No carrying case. Why pay more than for the Megalodon and not get a carrying case? Color changing only changes the lights at the bottom of the headset. Why doesn't it change the side emblems as well? Seriously tight on your head. This thing causes me headaches on a regular basis. Short cord length for connection.

Other Thoughts: If you have the choice, you should pass on this product. The Megalodon is a much better and comfortable product. I own both, and I will not be using these this headset unless something happens to the Megalodon.

2 out of 5 eggsSoftware Engineer

Pros: They look good, and the pro logic works well to simulate surround sound. It is still simulated though.

Cons: 1. I am experiencing the same static over Ventrilo that other reviewers are experiencing. The headset also randomly disconnects for absolutely no reason. For such an expensive headset I truly feel they are not quality.

2. The headset requires you install razer synapse. This is in no way better than simply installing drivers, and forces you to connect to razer each time you restart your computer to get your drivers functioning. Really?

3. No razer support for the headphones, or at least nothing that is easy to access. Why is keeping a USB headset connected and not having it produce static so difficult?
