5 out of 5 eggsNAGA Hex

Pros: This mouse is very easily customizable, and not just the buttons, it comes with interchangeable different sized thumb rests.I have pretty big hands and the mouse fits perfectly. I bought this specifically for MOBA style game play and it took little to no time at all to get used to the buttons on the thumb side of the mouse, and this is my first gaming mouse. The green lights are quite appealing as well. Gameplay with it is a solid 10/10.

Cons: I honestly haven't found a single con yet. Getting used to new buttons maybe?

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Button Placement

Pros: I've used a lot of multi-button mice in the past, including the WoW Steel Series mouse, but I feel like this mouse really hit the sweet spot for button placement. All of the buttons are very easy to get to, but also in distinctly different places, so that I never find myself accidentally pressing the wrong one.

Cons: No Cons

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy Razer

Pros: Good brand/marketing. My fourth Razer purchase....

2 of them stopped working after 6 months, another broke just out of warranty. Fourth is still working.

Cons: Unreliable. Awful drivers. I'll never buy another Razer product.

Razer Abysus - Good mouse, used for long time. It never broke. I actually love this thing, which prompted me to make other Razer purchases which I'm really regretting.
Razer DeathAdder - I liked this mouse, but it broke shortly outside of it's warranty
Razer Naga Hex - after a 5 months this mouse starting double clicking and behaving awkwardly. I've heard this happens to Razer mice often.
Razer Deathstalker keyboard - shift key stopped working inside of it's warranty.

Lesson learned. Don't buy razer. They will break and you'll have to deal with shipping and handling.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked For A While

Pros: Ability to configure Polling Rate and Acceleration Speed through the Razer Synapse.

Six side buttons for easy access.

Cons: Only lasted about six months.

Other Thoughts: Not sure what happened but it died while in the middle of a game. Just decided it had enough I guess. The cable gets really warm now when I plug it in.

5 out of 5 eggsRazer Naga Hex

Pros: Great DPI
The Hex is better than regular 12 button Naga for larger thumbs
Good ergonomics

Cons: The buttons below the scroll-wheel are really sensitive. I've accidentally clicked them at least once a day.
The mouse could use a bit more weight. It's by no means the lightest mouse out there, but it could use a bit more weight.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my original Naga after the left mouse button finally wore out. So far I'm liking what I have and I have to nit pick to get any criticism for it.

That said BUTTONS WEAR OUT on Razer products. This is one purchase where you might want to spend the money for a warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy Customer

Pros: Aesthetic appearance (Favorite color is green)
6 side-buttons are handy
LED lighting is visible, but not overwhelmingly bright
Ability to change things such as Polling rate, acceleration speed, etc. through the Razer Synapse.

Cons: I have a relatively large hand so my pinky doesn't sit well on the mouse, it actually hangs off completely...seeing as how I keep my pinky elevated anyways (due to an injury some years ago) this doesn't have an effect on me...but I could definitely see somebody being unhappy about this so I figured I would mention it.

Other Thoughts: Overall a sound product...haven't had any issues with is myself so far after owning this for approximately 3-4 months.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: -Fits incredibly well in the hand (comfortable, good support for extended play sessions, easy to keep hold of);
-Responsive (actuation of mechanical-style keys near thumb and movement/tracking of mouse are both smooth and intuitive without suffering from 'hair-trigger' sensitivity
-Scroll wheel has just the right level of resistance (i.e., doesn't spin like a top)

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This Naga was designed for ARPG/MOBA-style games and man, does it deliver. Fits well in the hand, has a clean feel (grip and movement). The mechanical buttons at the thumb are taking some getting used to, but offer incredible advantage. Couple the ergonomics of the mouse with the incredible level of customization for sensitivity and control, and you've got an amazing device. Looks pretty sharp, too. ;-)

For personal preference, it took a few days to acclimate to the glossy surface on the top layer of the mouse. Both sides of the Naga have a rougher, more matte-style surfacing/texture, so establishing/maintaining grip is never a problem. Just a little... weird, for a while. Second point of personal preference: the placement of the DPI adjustment buttons (hey're directly below the scroll wheel). They are out of the way in that location, but I sometimes forget they are on the mouse, period. Again, no issue... just taking a bit of getting used to.

I'm very satisfied with this mouse, though I expected nothing less. Thank you, Razer, for delivering a worthy successor for my gaming needs. Thank you, Newegg, for making it so easy to acquire!

1 out of 5 eggsFantastic While It Lasts

Pros: Customization is great with Synapse software. My hands are pretty moderate size and this fits perfectly. I could see this being way too small for big hands.

Cons: Some side buttons stick, not physically, but when pressed lightly it acts as though you pressed it 3-5 times very rapidly. Others take multiple presses to get response.

Scroll wheel developed way too much play.

These issues have rendered the mouse unusable. It's now a pretty paperweight.

All of this occurred shortly after the two year warranty expired. Hence 1 egg.

Other Thoughts: This isn't the first Razer product I've had become unusable shortly after warranty expiration. It seems like planned obsolescence is a priority for Razer.

I've yet to have a Logitech peripheral go out on me and I'll be sticking with them going forward.
