4 out of 5 eggsGood Headset

Pros: -Great quality sound
-Great quality bass
-Really emulates 5.1 surround sound well when gaming
-Extra long and braided cord

Cons: -The mic hardware is a little "meh". You have to fight with it a little bit to get it in and out of the holder
-When the mic is fully extended it is loose and wobbly. Quality of the mic output is fine though
-I had to RMA the first unit I got because the left ear was already blown out and rattling/crackling when playing anything through it

Other Thoughts: As with most Razer gaming products, you are mostly paying for the name brand, but are also getting a good product. I have Razer brand Keyboard, Mouse, and this Headset. Although they all work great, Razer quality is starting to become a tad "hit or miss". You either get a great quality product that lasts until you just want to change i up, or you get a DOA/Short lifespan product that needs to be replaced prematurely. Luckily, Newegg and Razer support is great about replacing faulty hardware if that need ever arises. I just wish Razer would pour some more QA into their hardware, as well as up the build quality of their products.

1 out of 5 eggsListen to the most recent reviews!

Pros: -Comfortable
-When EQ sounds nice
-Mic was clear

Cons: -Left Audio Bass driver defective in 2 headsets it buzzes and rattles

Other Thoughts: Really didn't have a lot of complaints other then both headsets i received had a buzzing left audio bass driver. Sending back for full refund and gonna give the Siberia v2 usb a try. Listen to all the recent 1 reviews before getting! big disappointment.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid This Headset

Pros: -Hands down the most comfortable headset I've ever worn.

Cons: -The mic does not work (see other thoughts.)
-Right side speaker is louder than left and has audible feedback.
-Horrid overall audio quality.
-Cheap build quality (see other thoughts.)

Other Thoughts: As someone who has Razer products littering their desk, I have been disappointed for the very first time by my favorite peripheral manufacturer.

-All the microphone can pick up is pops, clicks, buzzing, and white noise. No voice pickup as confirmed by audio recording software (FL Studio 11.)
-Retractable microphone wobbles around severely. The headset is made out of cheap plastic that feels easy to break.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: - Relatively comfortable

Cons: - Poor sound quality. Compared to my Siberia V2's, they sounded completely dead and muffled.
- The mic feels like it is about to break off at any second. It has the quality of a Happy Meal toy. The rest of the construction isn't terrible save for the mic.

Other Thoughts: After a week or so of using them, I just ordered another Siberia V2 set. It's cheaper, sounds better, and has a better mic.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Blocks out sound

Cons: Microphone stops working for long periods of time. If you are lucky it may just start working and them promptly stop once you leave the computer.
There is also a small buzzing noise in the ear. Mix that with the echo of the cord rubbing on your shirt will drive you insane.

Other Thoughts: I was very excited for these headphones and they have been nothing but a let down. Razer once again fails.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: Very clear sound
Great bass
Comfortable for hours of late-night gaming
Not too heavy, not too light
Durable cord

Cons: The band. It stretches nicely and is snug, but after using this headset frequently for several months, it literally began to indent my scalp to the band.

(Keep in mind, I did use this very frequently and my head is larger than average)

Other Thoughts: Though razer products may be a bit pricey, I'm coming back to newegg to upgrade to the Tiamat 7.1!

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome! But...

Pros: Great sound (when equalized), you can overpower the bass if you wish to do so which is sometimes fun. It is also very comfortable to wear. And sure... Its stylish and matches my other Razer products.

Cons: The headset came slightly defective. I have about a 70 to 100 volume ratio between the right and left which led me and the manufacturer to claim this as defective. I will be returning it for a replacement soon.

The sound took a LOT of equalization before I found the good comfort zone. This headseat has A LOT of bass using default equalization. In order for it to be slightly less overpower, you need to mess around with the frequencies until you find the equalization that suits you best. But remember, this is why equalization exists!

Other Thoughts: Overall it sounds great when equalized to your liking, its comfy, and a pretty good deal for the sale price. I just wish mine didn't come slightly defective.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty darn good

Pros: It was a great headset, the sound and base was amazing for gaming. I used it for SWTOR and the voice quality was great as well. I listened to music once or twice, and it sounded good but make no mistake this is a gaming headset. Plus if you like the Razer look, they are awesome as always.

Cons: I figured it was a con, but if you wear glasses they can cause the frames to dig into the side of your head around the ear after a few hours, which starts off annoying but really starts to hurt after a while. I never found a real solution other than taking them off for half an hour or so, so just be aware of that. They also stopped working about a month after the warranty ran out, which I guess is a pretty good lifetime, but I would have liked longer. The problem ended up being the wiring had started breaking down and had come undone. So if you know how to repair electronics I suppose you could open them up and strengthen them but that's way above my level of competence.

Other Thoughts: Over all I was very happy with them, good durability, great sound, awesome look. Oh, but maybe the 3.5mm connectors could be labeled better, they are a nightmare to figure out in the dark. Don't know how many times I sat down and got ready to go and went 'Oh, c**p.' And had to stand back up, flip the light on, look at the colors on the pins, and plug em in. :P

5 out of 5 eggswow

Pros: jeepers creepers! who need peepers when you can hear everything coming?
I just hooked these up through my creative labs fatal1ty sound card.. tweaked a few settings , and they really do sound good. (listening to Lorde) The design simulates a three-dimensional audio effect that is noticeable, even though they are running off of (1) 3.5mm audio jack. The bass range is so clear, diverse, and ever present. Man they just sound good! not "tinny" or hollow.

Cons: none that I have noticed yet.. I'll update if needed.

Other Thoughts: I cannot wait to Game in them...
Newegg shipping was great as usual.
