Engineered for improved comfort and control, the all-new Razer Naga comes with optimized button placement, three interchangeable side grips to suit your personal grip style, and is powered by Razer Synapse 2.0.

  • newegg 17 MMO-optimized buttons Effortlessly access more spells, abilities, and macros with a total of 17 mouse buttons, including Razer’s revolutionary 12-button thumb grid. The new Razer Naga features 2 mouse buttons behind the scroll wheel to deliver better ergonomic control as you game.

  • newegg Razer Synapse 2.0 Razer Synapse 2.0 is cutting-edge intuitive proprietary software that functions as the Razer Naga’s brain – automatically syncing the gaming mouse to a cloud server to download driver and firmware updates, as well as save individual gamer settings without you needing to lift a finger. Specifically for the Razer Naga, Razer Synapse 2.0 capabilities will be expanded to store settings for a custom Razer in-game UI designed just for MMO players.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat for MMOs! And also RTS!

Pros: The button number definitely gives plenty of options for games aforementioned. Since it functions as the Num pad, I had no compatibility issues. It also looks cool!

Cons: The problems I faced, as with a previous naga mouse is that they tend to start having double click issues after about a year of use. This was the second mouse I had bought from Razer, and it had started failing after a year like the previous one. This prompted me to try one from a different manufacturer. For it's price, I would expect it to last longer than it does.

1 out of 5 eggsRazer, razer, razer...

Pros: Great key layout, perfect for MMO's

Cons: Just really disappointed, I went all out as i'm a brand loyal person and have constantly purchased razer products. I've had to replace every model of razer naga I've purchased. I was an avid MMO player (AION, FFXI, FFXIV) and this brand never lasts. Whether it's poor driver quality, or the mouse laser/optics randomly jumping all over for no reason.

It is a great design but Razer's cheap plastic, poor "sticker" rubber grips which fall off and keys that eventually wear out, on top of driver issues and laser/optic issues, it's not worth the trouble.

Other Thoughts: I'll be trying out the new Corsair MMO mouse. Initial feel, the quality feels far superior and Corsair is just a higher quality brand.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable, good price point, interchangeable sides, high DPI, great texture-y feel, lightweight, the green looks great!

With the largest adapter, this feels great in my hands and is a solid fit. The sides can be popped right off and switched in a breeze, and it feels sturdy enough that they wont fall off randomly or during heated use (unless you throw it around like a maniac). They snap in with magnets nice and snug, nicely designed, hopefully the magnets wont weaken or anything over time. The texture on the mouse feels amazing, definitely won't slip out of my hands and it isn't like sandpaper on my sensitive little baby fingers either.

This is my third razer product, and i've been enjoying them all so far with no problems... I don't know if that makes me a fanboy but i'm definitely part of the cult xD

Cons: the Back/Forward buttons are right under the scroll wheel, which makes em awkward to hit. Other than that, only thing i can complain about is that it's wired?

I wish the color lighting on these products wasn't static. My keyboard glows blue, and my mouse glows green, where's my color changing LEDs?

"1000Hz Ultrapolling / 1ms response time"

This is adjustable (125Hz, 500, 1000) in the Synapse software, and for good reason. On lower end PCs, from my understanding, a high Polling Rate causes extra stress on your CPU. Not a complaint, but worth knowing.

Other Thoughts: I really enjoy using this mouse, makes a world of difference stepping up from my 800 DPI old school Logitech MX Revolution. I mainly play Starcraft 2, so this mouse has everything i could want. Looking to step up your game and get a little more serious from an older mouse? This is a great choice.

So I actually still have/use this mouse on a daily basis. It's been through a lot with me the last few years, and it's still holding up. There's very little wear on it, and I've never once had an issue. What an awesome product, I would purchase again.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots of buttons

Cons: Cheap build quality. These things used to be built well. Not anymore. You can get a better quality mouse for a better price.

Other Thoughts: Cheap product. Old school razer products are pretty good. Quality has declined over the years.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse!

Pros: I purchased this mouse in 2012 and have had no problems since!
the software that comes with it (razer synapse) has all sorts of features that just boost the amount of things you can accomplish with this mouse, and all the lights still work after about 2 years.

Cons: its kind of hard to clean between the number keys on the side of the mouse, im a messy person so this is an issue. its also kind of hard to reach 10, 11 and 12 but i don't use them anyways.

Other Thoughts: now days i would go with a full RGB mouse if i where buying one right now but i would stay with the brand razer after the reliability this one has shown.

5 out of 5 eggsRazer Naga still holds strong

Pros: Amazing mouse
I've had it for nearly 2 years, and it still holds the same quality of the day I bought it.
Razer has amazing products, and this is no exception.
Great for MMO gaming, aswell as other games.
I don't think I will ever get a different mouse.

Cons: The side numbers occasionally get dirt in them, which is hard to get out. But, this isn't the products fault.

Other Thoughts: Works great, and has amazing DPI. Looks very visually appealing too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy set up ... incredible reaction times ... cloud was never an issue

Cons: the solid flexable cover on top of the mouse cracked at the flex point of the left mouse button after 2 years mmo gaming ... mouse still works excellent but will not be usable soon

Other Thoughts: performance of the mouse itself outweighed the issue and i have another one on the way ... not planning on gaming without it

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks cool
Fits nicely in your hand
Cable is nice and long, nice cord too

Cons: Buttons on the side far too small to hit with your fingers

Other Thoughts: Switched mouse out for the Razer Hex Naga because the buttons were too small. Went to plug it in so a friend could barrow this one and the laser on the bottom crapped out. I think I used the mouse for like 3 months and it sat in my drawer for about 3 months. Short lifespan for a gaming mouse :(

2 out of 5 eggsWell...

Pros: Started out good
The programmable buttons make MMO play great
The ability to turn off the lighting from the software is nice for sleep time

Cons: Synapse software is attrocious.
I am not sure if I got a defective product or what but the mouse seems to have started suffering glitches were it would just stop responding, irregardless of the synapse programs status.
Having to disconnect and reconnect it and pray that it came back is not exactly how I envision using a wired mouse. It is worse than having a wireless mouse die on you mid game.
I contacted support when it started happening, reinstalled synapse over 12 times hoping for better results. Tried the mouse on other computers and it seems ok for a day or two then same issue rears its ugly head.

Other Thoughts: All in all, i liked this mouse for the reviews it had and the personal feedback from friends with one. It was past the RMA point when the problems started happening and while the support made minor effort to work with me on resolving the issue they were not willing to replace their defective product even though I registered the thing when I bought it.

I would NOT recommend this mouse and have since replaced it with a different brand which works flawlessly.
