Gear up with the right items and dive into combat fearlessly with the Razer Naga Hex MOBA and action-RPG gaming mouse. Instead of the award-winning 12-button thumb grid MMO gamers have come to love with the Razer Naga, the Razer Naga Hex features 6 large thumb buttons optimized specifically for MOBA and action-RPG user interfaces. Spells, abilities, and items from these games can be mapped directly onto the 6 thumb buttons for extraordinary game control.

Validated with some of the top MOBA pro-gamers in the world, the Razer Naga Hex’s 6 thumb buttons are designed in a mechanical key infrastructure to provide faster key actuation. This gives you the edge to attack quicker than enemies can react, necessary to winning in high-pressure battle arenas.

Harass the enemy, farm end-bosses, and hack n’slash for longer in comfort with the ergonomic curved design of the Razer Naga Hex, as designed by some of the world’s top ergonomic engineers. This gaming mouse has proven to minimize fatigue during extended periods of play whether at home or at competitive tournaments.

The Razer Naga Hex is powered by the revolutionary Razer Synapse 2.0 service, a cloud based software pioneered by Razer, designed to store your personal mouse settings and preferences on remote servers so that they are accessible to you anytime, anywhere*.

From the makers of the world’s most powerful MMO gaming weaponry comes the world’s most powerful MOBA/action-RPG gaming mouse. Get Imba!

4 out of 5 eggsLove it, but...

Pros: I love this mouse custom DPI, looks, feel, quality, it's weight, it has a braided cable which has become a must for me. I also like the synapse software. It's easy to use and it works soooo much better than Logitec's hack software which would frequently crash my pc.

Cons: The buttons on the side. I thought this would be a big improvement playing games like dota 2 and league but they're just not for me. This is completely my personal preference. Sometimes I will accidentally hit one of those buttons and drop a ward where I don't want it. I have just turned them off completely

Other Thoughts: This is my first Razer product but it won't be my last. This is a great mouse I love using the top buttons to change the dpi settings in games like battlefield 3 and splinter cell. My next mouse will be Razer but I'll probably go with one that has fewer buttons on the thumb. Then again, maybe I'll just work on getting better at using them.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Looks neat!

Cons: This thing is complete junk. The first one I recieved had something shaking inside of it. I called and they sent me a new one. The replacement was ok. A few months down the road, something was loose inside! It turns out the plastic that holds the weight had broken. Since warrenty sucks, I took it apart and repaired it. A few months later, the left mouse button started working! Then the right mouse button! I couldn't believe it, my logitec g2 lasted for 10 years! I again, took it apart, cleaned the buttons very well, and it helped a bit. This mouse has needed cleaned so many times, and now it's done. For a very expensive item it is a WASTE of money.

Other Thoughts: Stick with a brand that you know. Logitec makes great products, they are durable. Don't buy something b/c it looks great!

5 out of 5 eggsUSE THE THUMB GRIP WITH FEROCITY

Pros: This red version is hipster, so haters gonna hate.
the keys feel like those crackberry keys so you know you hit it.
Cleans well(Cheese, beer, sweat, fortune cookies)

Cons: Synapse needs to quit being a fanboy of itself.
Not a fan of pointer acceleration.( very littler although no negative adjustment as of 3/07/14)
Wish it was 10% bigger because I have to use every finger and digit to hold the mouse. I'm a claw gripper and play mobas and i find myself using the palm portion under my pinkie in order to hold the mouse at times to kick it like a futbol at practice with my pinkie and thumb.

Other Thoughts: Not disappointed by this mouse, replaced a GIGA thor which was 30 bucks shipped and the dpi doesnt feel as crisp on the naga but it is smooth. I guess the sensor in the thor was really the whole mouse as it died with in 7 months of 1k clicks a day. I do have a good feeling this mouse will last me a decade.

5 out of 5 eggsWhao.

Pros: This is a very high quality mouse. I basically bought it for ESO and I love the quality and everything about the mouse. Very comfortable and easy to control for FPS with percision

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this mouse for Macro beginners over the Razer Naga with 12 buttons. 12 buttons can be overwhealming but Razer always has the highest quality.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works

Cons: macro button locations, macro button features

Other Thoughts: as someone who was replacing a g700 and trying to find a better mouse after going through two of those in 18 months I find myself disappointed with this mouse. I just ordered a g700s because I would rather have to replace one every year than deal with one that doesn't fit within the macro mouse market.

1 out of 5 eggsThis thing sucks

Pros: None and I love Razer products.

Cons: I needed more thumb buttons that could be assigned to macro commands. This looked perfect. The reality is that if you need to pick the mouse up to reset it while gaming it is way to easy to hit one of the hex buttons. It's impossible to use with a mouse pad that has a wrist support built in. The pad that your thumb is meant to sit on is entirely to small.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for people with big hands

Pros: Technically a nice mouse. I really like the concept. Fabric braided cable. Teflon feet are higher quality than the ones on my original (non-hex) Naga. Doesn't have a dust/grit trap along the edges of the feet that will eventually destroy the pads. The different glossy and textured plastics used on this mouse are much, much less of a dirt/gunk/oil retainer compared to the stuff used on the regular Naga. I have oily skin, so this is a nice touch---won't have to clean this thing every two weeks. Side buttons are very low resistance, although this is a double-edged sword.

Cons: The low resistance side buttons are easily tripped accidentally. This is a big problem if you have a big hand and/or big fingers. (-1 egg) I'll probably eventually get used to this, but it's much more difficult to use than my original Naga. Razer Synapse is still horrible software that I really wish would die a horrible, fiery death. (-1 egg)

Other Thoughts: If you have the ability to try this mouse out before you buy it, even if trying it out just consists of holding it, I'd really recommend you do this. I'm not dissatisfied with this mouse, but it's got a much higher learning curve than the regular Naga, which I think I'm going to wish I had stuck with in the long run.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent FPS, MMO, and MOBA mouse

Pros: This mouse is perfectly responsive. 5600 dpi allows for a very high level of accuracy. The six buttons on the side have a similar feel to the left and right mouse clicks, verses the squishyness of the MMO version. This makes the Hex excellent for games like Mechwarrior Online (with six weapon groups), Counter Strike for quick weapon switches, and LOL or WOW for assigning attacks and spells. I can also hit all six of the buttons comfortably with large hands, as opposed to the MMO version, which was uncomfortable and I could only use half of the 12 buttons anyways.

Cons: The left and right click have different responses. The left is on a hare trigger, and the right is only slightly less so. This makes a ton of sense in game (I was skeptical at first but now I love it). Some may not like this, but you get used to it quickly. Some have reported that the left click breaks after a while, but I have not seen this happen yet. I will update if it does.

Other Thoughts: A friend loaned me the MMO version to test out. While the overall feel was great, the side buttons were, well "squishy" feeling. You could more or less do quick repeated presses, but it would miss occasionally. I picked up the Hex based on the button arrangement and feel. In games like Mechwarrior Online the Hex was head and shoulders above since the buttons feel just like a regular mouse click, which is very conducive to responsive repeated presses. It hasn't missed a single click yet.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat if you get a working one

Pros: Fit well in my hand, button layout is great

Cons: After a few months of use, it began to randomly stop working. This was fixed at first by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but after a few more days it seemed to only want to start working again on chance, and more recently it's just stopped wanting to work all together and Windows says the device has malfunctioned.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsWorth the money!

Pros: Ability to customize every button any way you want! (except left click)
Synapse 2.0 allows me to do things I could have never done before (button mapping that is)
You can control your multimedia with the side buttons while on the desktop, then switch when you enter a game.
You can set mappings for specific applications (it will automatically switch when the program starts)
The mouse looks amazing! the pictures just can't do it justice

Cons: The dpi clutch bind has a slight delay (fraction of a second) which can become a problem in a high action game (but it works if you get used to it)

Sometimes my computer will not detect the mouse when the computer starts up (easily remedied by restarting the computer)

The ergonomics take some slight getting used to, there is a ring finger rest, which I never had before. But once you get used to it, it is pretty comfortable.

Other Thoughts: I use a RAZER Nostromo along with this mouse and the features are endless with these two in combination! You could use buttons on either to change the mapping of the other device, and so many other features become possible! Definitely worth investing in if you are a serious gamer, or a multimedia artist.
