Equipped with the revolutionary 5600dpi Razer Precision 3.5G Laser sensor, the Razer Lachesis gaming mouse returns in a fresh look and even more lethal precision and accuracy than ever. Its nine programmable Hyperesponse buttons, its 1000Hz Ultrapolling with 1ms response and the new customizable lighting make it a formidable weapon in your arsenal of destruction. Beat the snot out of your buddies and look cool doing it.
Pros: I like the ability to change the color lights on the mouse to any color serperately. You can control the middle mouse button light and the Razer Logo light. I also love how you can change the mouse sensativity just by clicking buttons right below the middle mouse button.
Cons: The mouse never fit my hand quite well. After using the DeathAdder for so long, going to this was ok. I got used to it, but never fully liked it. The mouse would stop working out of nowhere and I would have to unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes it would last for weeks, sometimes days. Also, the response of this mouse was terrible. It was light fighting to get it to go where you want it to. Which usually got a little better after disconnecting it and then plugging back in. At first I thought it had to do with my USB port, but it does all of that no matter where I plugged it in. Maybe it was a software/driver problem, but I never took the time to figure it out, other than making sure drivers were updated. After 6 months of using it, I had enough when it became even more annoying and had to destroy it. I guess I'll go back to the BlackAdder.
Other Thoughts: Razer always has good products. This is the first time I've had a problem. Maybe I got a bad one? Either way, it hasn't discouraged me away from Razer products... just that particular one.
