5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I have had this mouse since 06/16/2005 and let me just say this thing is awesome. RAZER should bring this mouse design back but switch the 2 side buttons to something like the death adder that is out now.

Cons: The side button if you push one the other gets pushed.
The mouse button eventually becomes sticky but can be cleaned.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ambidextrous, attractive, nice feet.

Cons: Fell apart in under two years in every way possible.

Other Thoughts: This thing was a hunk of junk. I loved the way it looked on day one, and its movement and precision were pretty great from what I recall, but that's about all the good things I can say about it.

The first issue was in the scroll wheel; it lost its tactile feel within the first six months, and made scrolling a waste of time (jumped all over the place.)

Next were the rubber grips on the sides; they started chipping and ripping away, making the mouse feel generally bad in the hand.

Then came the ghosting in the left mouse button into the second year, on buttons that never really felt nor sounded good to begin with...

Finally, the optical tracking died, before I made it to year three.

I foolishly replaced it with another Razer mouse, which ended up splitting down its center over the course of a few months. And no, I didn't throw/hit/drop it. And no, I don't weigh 800 lbs, and no, I don't death grip my mouse...

This isn't exactly meant to be anti-Razer propaganda, but I no longer have any faith in their products. It's a gimmick. I'll likely stick to Logitech mice for the rest of my life.

5 out of 5 eggsLast a life time

Pros: Own this mouse 6 years plus, still going strong, really going to hate to have to replace this guy in the future.

Cons: not a thing.... even after 6 years.

Other Thoughts: Bought in 2006, now 2012, built like like a tank, friends still can't believe how responsive this mouse still is after 6 years.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasted

Pros: I've had this mouse for almost 6 years now and it's still the best mouse I've used. Sadly the cord is getting a short in it and its just going to get worse. It's a shame they don't make this model anymore or I would definitely buy another. It works on just about any surface. I had to get used to the sensitivity, because I was still using an old school ball mouse before this one.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I love this mouse! I have been using this model for the past 5 years. I am a gamer and beat the... out of my mice and it still would perform great.

Cons: Umm really nothing. I guess it emits a blue light so if you sleep in the same room with it, it might distract you?

Other Thoughts: After 5 years it is finally starting to fail on me and I will be needing to replace it. If I could I would buy this model again!

5 out of 5 eggsSmooth

Pros: Very, very smooth. Many people are saying that the mouse is too sensitive and they were not able to adjust it low enough--I didn't have that problem. This mouse has been the greatest I have ever owned. The lazer picks up on virtually any surface, and the instant response time is great--there's no shaking the mouse to wake it up. I never realized how imprecise my old gaming mouse was till I got this one.

Cons: The frame of the mouse (not the buttons) is smooth plastic, not very nice to sweaty hands. Can get slippery at times.

Other Thoughts: The internal light is so bright I use it as a nightlite.

4 out of 5 eggssolid mouse

Pros: What a great mouse, it takes precision to a new level for me, used to be an Intellimouse Explorer, there is quite a difference. The included software is kinda hokey but who cares its the mouse that matters. the blue light looks good when its on and the shiny black finish looks stylish when off. The left and right click buttons have a good feel to them. I had heard previously that Razer mice tended to fall apart, but they must have fixed that because this mouse is fine. No signs of wear after months of use. Solid mouse.

Cons: The only possible problem with this mouse is its size. Even for the average sized hand it is just a little bit too small to be completely comfortable. This one flaw is not enough to not buy the mouse. Buy it.
The side buttons take some getting used to because they are so close to your fingers.
