2 out of 5 eggsGood until I realized...

Pros: Lots of buttons, good sensitivity, Looks pretty cool and its program that it comes with is easy to use.

Cons: About 5% of the time when I started my computer my mouse would not power up. I got looking into the problem and found that the mouse comes with a paper stating that sometimes when booting the mouse does not get enough power and the driver does not initiate. It then tells you to restart the computer. I did this and it worked about 80% of the time, the other 20% it still didn't work and I had to restart yet again. Restarting my computer three times to get my mouse to work kind of irritates me.

Other Thoughts: If you do have this problem the short easy way to fix it is using your keyboard navigate to your control panel, go to system, get up the hardware tab and press tab to get to device manager. Delete the device with the exclamation next to it and alt+f4 to get out. Go to add hardware and click it. It got it working every time for me. Of course, now I have a different mouse :)

3 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price

Pros: Looks good. Great shape, fits my hand perfectly. Drastically improved my gaming skills. Shifts dpi on the fly.

Cons: Finicky drivers, annoying cord, and not holding up well so far...the soft touch coating on the buttons is already wearing off on the left click after about 9 months(moderate use).

Other Thoughts: If this mouse was closer to 40 dollars it would be worth it. But it's way overpriced.

5 out of 5 eggsLove

Pros: Easy access to change sensitivity, extra buttons on the side which is awesome for things like a ventrilo talk button. Fit's perfectly in your hand, nice long chord, comes with teflon pads, which is awesome.

Cons: None, at all

Other Thoughts: I wish that instead of the sensitivity buttons on the right side, there were two more programmable buttons, and sensitivity was up by the scroll wheel.

5 out of 5 eggsFantabulous!

Pros: Amazingly-smooth movement, the grips feel great. And the re programmable buttons on sides are nicely placed. THE DPI LEVEL IS INSANELY FAST! It's by far the best mouse out there.

Cons: Sometimes it requires to be disconnected and then reconnected if it won't work sometimes when you boot it up. Not a very big inconvenience, mine only did it twice in the entire few months I've had it.

Other Thoughts: The mouse functions much better with a fine-grained mouse pad. It's fantastic for FPS games, you could use it for RPG's if you really want to.

5 out of 5 eggsbest gaming mouse I've ever owned

Pros: high DPI, good response, great drivers, looks and feels high quality, fits my hand perfectly

Cons: some people are annoyed by the pulsing red light in the middle... I like it, but some of my friends hate it... just FYI

Other Thoughts: Upgraded from a 200DPI optical, and boy does it make a difference...

I'm using this on a Steelpad 5L, so your mileage may vary...

1 out of 5 eggsUnreliable garbage

Pros: It was nice, smooth, and accurate - while it worked.

Cons: Died after about three months. Disconnects and reconnects constantly while the computer is on. Tried it on every PC I own (4). Contacting Razer for an RMA has been an exercise in frustration as the only response I ever get is an automated response telling me to try it on a different PC and let them know if it works.

5 out of 5 eggsI wonder

Pros: High sensitivity and easy to use.

Cons: none...

Other Thoughts: I'm wondering, this mouse comes in 3 colors and between the three, the only difference is the color. So I'm wondering why they're listed with 3 different prices on newegg...

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVE IT

Pros: I love the feel of the mouse, the sensitivity, and pretty much everything else.

Cons: When I tried to update drivers and firmware (the one on CD still works and i don't really need new drivers) it made my mouse not work but i probably did something. It worked after i unistalled new drivers.

Other Thoughts: I LOVE THIS MOUSE. You can't go wrong with this!

4 out of 5 eggsNot for Vista

Pros: Works great with XP 64 and I presume with XP 32.

Cons: No Vista drivers. The Buttons on the right side are hard to reach. Sometimes the mouse is dead on a restart. Lights are on but no mouse movements. After disabling the Bios legacy mouse support seems to be OK.

Other Thoughts: I was not happy with the slow Vista support. I am going to try the Logitech® G5 Laser Mouse. It has Vista support. Overall I am not that impressed even under XP.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it's a razer, NEED i say more?
I've owned three razer mice so far, the Pro, the Diamondback and a Copperhead ( i gave away the previous two, and use the Copper head on a day to day basis). that's just to set up how i tear this mouse apart below.

Cons: it's got GREAT response time, it's just outrageous how great it is, and 2000 DPI is awesome! but there is trouble afoot. now with actually using this bad boy in-game there's none like it! blows the diamondback out of the water! but when it comes time to use it for the desktop, i can tell you i've been pretty disappointed. it's almost like it's too fast, i have to lower it as soon as i get out the game, to around 800 DPI to make it feel more like it''s 1600 DPI like the diamondback. that's just a fore thought if you are upgrading from the diamondback, or Pro.

Other Thoughts: Like all razers the buttons take a lot of getting used to , apporx. 3 days gaming to really get used to it, but honestly once you get used to the button lay out, you will never game on anything else.
