RAZER Carcharias 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset for Xbox 360/PC

Pros: This headset has a long cable, it is comfortable, and the lights on the sides look really cool.

Cons: Headset was broken when it arrived. First plug in, horrible static sound and screeching that only got louder as I tried to drown it out with other sounds. Tried different audio ports, USB's, checked for any drivers... still awful static. Called up a friend on Skype only to find out he could also hear a screeching noise at all times.
Newegg will refund it but subtract return credit if you bought it on sale, and make you pay for return shipping. So you get a partial refund, at that. Very dissatisfied.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET! Unless you would like to waste a lot of your time and money.

Pros: It has a nifty light on the sides of it

Cons: It puts out a horrible static as soon as it is plugged in to the USB. You can not use it unless it is plugged into the USB. It is unusable. I do not know how they release a product like this.

Pros: Cool Lights. Better in line

Cons: where to start, First of the Packaging is WAY OVER DONE. The way Razer put this thing is the box is just outright stupid. Being that this headset uses USB for power, I had crazy interference. It sounded like i was in a plane about to take off with this obnoxious high pitched wine all the time and whenever i would launch a game, all i could hear was this static sound LOUDER THAN THE GAME! i tried everything posible, Bios, Ports even pin on the motherboard to make this go away, Noting helped. One port would sound alittle bit better when my computer was idle but not once i tried to do anything. Also Tried to run the audio though my TV and other computer, Bad interferance from the TV and computer as well. Worthless headset. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Pros: Amazing audio! i owned a few headsets before going with a Razar and i must say it was worth the money. I wanted a headset i could use for the Xbox and PC and i wasn't going to shell out money on another fail turtle beach. the Mic is so clean in Vent, Skype and xbox chat. When listening to music its amazing. It immerses you in any game. Where before with my planatronics i could hear well but with these i hear everthing so clear. These are also the lightest headset i've ever used and i can sit at my comp for up to 8hrs with these and not even realize i have them on.

Cons: The noise leaks into mic but thats only seems to happen when the bass is at max and with some volume tweaks its not too bad. i seem to only get complaints when using xbox chat.

Other Thoughts: For the money you cant go wrong. Comfy, amazing audio, great mic.

Pros: It's quite comfortable overall, I've owned the headset for a little over a year now. The external components of the headset have held up remarkably well over a year's time.

Cons: Mine died just before the 1 year mark. It started with a scratchy noise coming through the headset at about 8 or 9 months of use. A few months later it stopped working all together, I tried it on other PCs, and nothing.

As for the actual quality of the audio / build, it's mediocre at best. My main complaint with the audio isn't quality, since it sounds pretty good, but the maximum volume is very low. It simply doesn't get loud enough. Build wise, it held up flawlessly, with almost no signs of wear at any part after a year of daily use.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't suggest these, for two main reasons. The low maximum volume, and the price. They cost around as much as a decent (non razer) 5.1 headset, and they're only stereo.
