Optimized weight for extended wear
Just like the Razer Electra, the Razer Kraken Pro gaming headset has been field-tested by countless professional gamers and athletes to determine the optimal weight for extended gaming sessions as well as for unparalleled comfort on the go.

Fully retractable microphone
The left ear cup houses a fully retractable microphone boom that pulls out only when you need it, perfect for taking your headset on the go. The flexible design allows the unidirectional mic to be adjusted to individual needs so it's always in the best spot whether you are giving strategic commands or making a quick call to your friend.

Powerful drivers and sound isolation for highest-quality gaming audio
The Razer Kraken Pro's large 40mm neodymium magnet drivers are tuned for clear high- and mid-ranges as well as deep bass for powerful lows. A closed ear cup deign with plush circumaural padding creates superior sound isolation so you can focus on your game or conversation uninterrupted by outside noise.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headset for the price

Pros: - Great look
- Sturdy
- Retractable mic
- Good price

Cons: I've had a few minor issues with the headset since buying them. First the mic seemed to be really quiet while trying to talk to anyone on mumble/vent/teamspeak. Resolved it by tweaking with the sound settings to turn the mic up. Secondly they were a bit tight on the head. Good if you like noise canceling I guess but when having them on while gaming for hours they get a bit uncomfortable and sweaty. Last little nit pick, which is probably a knock on windows 7 not the headphones, was that with the analog input jack I couldn't play music through my computer speakers with my headset jack plugged in.

Other Thoughts: All in all not a terrible headset. I've had a few turtle beach headsets before this that were a little more comfy but they also broke after a year of use. I feel like these will last a lot longer which is always a plus.

3 out of 5 eggsGood sound, Terrible Mic

Pros: Sound is great, comfortable to wear, the bright green is easy to see in the dark.

Cons: The mic on mine doesn't even work. I ended up just using a recording mic instead. The mic is cheaply made and coils up and is prone to breaking so there is a good chance that if you buy this, the mic will not work.

Other Thoughts: I would get something else if you want one that will last.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset.

Pros: Comfortable, great sound(though the bass is a bit much if you don't turn it down in my opinion), retractable mic that sound good, and looks great. Oh, and you can plug them into anything with a headphone jack which is always a plus so you can use them with more devices. I got this as an alternative to my Sibera V2's, which have a USB plug in, though I still prefer my V2's because I find them much more comfortable and snug to my head.

Cons: Almost no "breathing" room for your ears when these are on so prepare to suffocate them if you game for long periods of time on these.

While the retractable mic is awesome, it is a bit tough on my unit to pull it and then retract it, and the cord is a bit thick so it's not super adjustable but it does the job just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product, amazing!

Pros: 7.1 surround, Free Razer Surround subscription, amazing warranty

Cons: Absolutely awesome, if you like having virtual sound cards. Cord is ridiculously long. Its just audio and microphone, not USB So dont expect auto drivers and a onboard sound card.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing headset

Pros: Amazing for the price I paid for. Good bass and it replaced my turtle beach headset.

Cons: Kind of wished the microphone came out farther but it still catches everything. Not enough to take an egg off

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Amazing sound quality! Cheap! I have no clue why someone would pay for these new. They come in brand new out of the box. You even get a sticker with it, haha.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsI've got another and this is worse

Pros: Still looks good and feels sturdy

Cons: I've had this exact same type of headset for a couple years. Loved it, sounded great. This one doesn't. My cord was getting bad so i bought this as a replacement. It does NOT sound the same. quiet specifically the sound is just terrible in comparison. it sounds so hollow. My head used to feel good with the pumping sound and now it gives me a headache. I can plug in my old one and listen to each right next to eachother and im disgusted how absolutely terrible THIS one is. I dont know... maybe mine just isn't the same and something is wrong but this is not what I wanted.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: Great headset, saw the sale and couldn't help myself. I was afraid to buy at first because its refurbished, but I'm glad I did. Works perfectly for anything you can think of. As a PC gamer you cant go wrong with this

Cons: Small things. The bass is kinda overpowering. Perfect for gaming, not so much for music listening. But also not enough to take an egg off the review. No volume control

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this to anyone

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound, but a few cons

Pros: Great sound quality headset for the price! Very comfortable except the right ear piece makes my ear hurt after awhile, but I think that is just me.

Cons: For some reason, the built in microphone does not work for me. I have tried re-installing drivers and everything and nothing. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the right earpiece makes my ear hurt after awhile. Other than that, I love the headset and use it a lot!

4 out of 5 eggsgood headphones

Pros: actual good headphones that you could hear everything when gaming. the nice thing is the detachable headphone connector for microphone and speaker jacks to just a speaker jack for when you just wanna listen to music on your ipod. the retractable microphone was also a plus.

Cons: sometimes hard to get the microphone to go inside but it is reburished so i guess the pro's outweigh the cons

Other Thoughts: a good buy if you wanna save some money on expensive (yet cheap) headphones
