Pros: Commits the function designed for, and is appropriate for it's price range. The software that it came with is fair. For a portable PC Cam it is alright.

Cons: The software it came with is rather poor. I can cause my machine to crash every time if I use the Motion-Sensor in conjunction with Audio feedback. This may have to do with my RealTek drivers which are notoriusly shoddy, but it is an irritiant all the same. If I am not cautious it results in a total system melt-down every time.

Tech support was alright, but were unable to assist me.

Other Thoughts: If you are using this as a normal stand-alone desktop camera it is good. If you plan to use the motion capture function in conjunction with Audio you may want to Reconsider.

Pros: The resolution given good lighting is very clear. In a well lit room it far outshines any other cam I've had experience with.

Cons: The design of the stand on it is idiotic. It does clamp well to a CRT, LCD or laptop screen. It works best with a speaker or a drinking glass.

Pros: The picture quality is pretty good for a cheap web camera.

Cons: Lack of offically supported Windows Vista drivers. There appear to be workarounds available, I haven't tried them yet.

Other Thoughts: I read several reviews here that don't match my experience. Low light level is not an issue, in fact this cam seems overly light sensitive. Picture quality is fine, mine is not blurry at all. The special effects work fine for me, no problems. The halloween mask is pretty funny. Maybe some of the issues people wrote about have been resolved, or maybe they have problems with their computers, I don't have any of their issues.

Pros: Some cool effects. Good price. Fast delivery.

Cons: SOme "special effects" that come with the cam do not work and it is quite blurry.

Other Thoughts: Works on all chat systems except trillian ... i dunno why.

Pros: The color look good, free with purchase of HP 510 laptop both are not as good as I thought

Cons: Not as good as what I think, only 1.3 mp but it too blur, can't see anything

Pros: Nice sleek design. Sturdy base. Comes with cool advanced FX software that i really like. Price was decent. I'm keeping it. It will get the job done.

Cons: Need very strong light. Normal room light is not good enough for a decent picture. Best if used during daytime hours for increased room light.

Cons: Doesn't attach as easily as one would hope.
Very poor performance in low-light (normal indoor) conditions.

Other Thoughts: I bought one of these for myself and one for my father, so that he could web chat with his grandsons. Unfortunately, we haven't found any settings which allow him to use the cam over a satellite connection (typical modem-speed uploading). So far, Creative support hasn't been too helpful.

For the price I paid ($xx after rebates), I can't complain too much, but I really wish that the camera could perform reasonably w/o having a lamp shining in my face...

Pros: Was cheap after rebate. Works good with yahoo messenger.

Cons: Software and driver is absolutely terrible. I could never really get this thing to work with ftp uploading. Their software always froze and never worked. I've even downloaded and used other programs and they don't work with this camera.

Other Thoughts: Maybe it's my puter or internet connection or maybe even my host site, but this never worked with ftp settings. I host with startlogic so I don't think it's them. My puter is the latest and I built it myself so it's not that.

I bought it to monitor my dog who likes to jump fences and it's never really worked. I had to install yahoo messenger on my work puter and hope it doesn't get me fired.

Pros: decent sound and video, works like you would expect for the price.

Cons: The software package was kind of a pain to install, I really don't like it when they try and give you a bunch of junk software that you don't need. No built in mic is kind of a pain because of all the wires, but the headset works well.

Other Thoughts: I bought a logitech for about the same price and I think I like it better. I guess time will tell, but overall, it isn't bad, I was just happier with the ease of installation and use with the logitech communicate stx. They got me with the rebate offer on this one.
