Pros: -Good sound quality. I used this headset for games and music alike, and was very pleased. The quality won't blow you away, but for the price, it's very good. -Very durable. I've dropped it countless times out of carelessness, and have not noticed a difference in quality. -I've been told that the mic comes in loud and clear over ventrilo. -Detachable mic is nice
Cons: Headset is tight (literally). It took a while for me to get used to it. If you have a particularly wide head, this headset might not be for you. I have a narrow-shaped head so I am able to tolerate it. Even still, I find myself wanting to take off the headset after wearing it for more than 2-3 hours.
Other Thoughts: If you can look past the lack of comfort, or find a way to compensate for it, this is a great headset. It didn't affect my rating because I was able to tolerate it pretty well and didn't find myself wanting to play a game for more than 3 hours straight anyway.

Pros: Great sound with built in X-Fi, wonderful to wear for a long period of time, very cheap (black friday). I have two of these headsets and they were worth every penny.
Cons: Read "Other thoughts".
Other Thoughts: Just a heads up to anyone wondering what the difference is between this headset and the other Fatal1ty headset being sold for about $15 cheaper. THIS headset is the newer model with the X-Fi chip built right in. The older model (item #N82E16826158082) does not have this feature. I really wish that Newegg would distinguish these two models apart so that the consumer knows what he/she is getting. As of right now they seem to be the exact same item although they are essentially two different headsets.

Pros: Nice sound performance (solid low frequency pressence if you like to "feel" the bass).
Cons: The in-box USB headset driver and the updated driver (v1.1.3) from Creative web site DO NOT support LINE-IN volume control. I contacted Creative Tech Support requesting a driver update that supported LINE-IN volume control and they replied, "I'm sorry that your headset is a USB device which should be connected via a USB cable." Their reply completely ignorged the core support issue--LINE-IN volume control. Due to the lack of this functionality I have to switch between my 3.5mm headset and the Creative USB headset whenever I need to monitor the LIN-IN source on my sound card. The Creative headset is packed for RMA refund due to Creative's lack of support to remedy a simple driver issue.
Other Thoughts: In view of the overwhelming number of sound cards with SPEAKER, MIC, and LINE-IN connectivity, it is a mystery why Creative vacated support for a standard sound card connection. I consider this a design shortfall, and, unfortunately, Creative Tech Support doesn't seem interested in making a good product a better product. If you need to monitor LINE-IN source material avoid this product (unless Creative adds support in the near future). No comment on boom mic operation, it was not tested.

Pros: This thing booms. I was completely blown away by the sound quality on these things when I first got them. The bass and low ends were so brilliant without losing anything from the high end. Rival my studio quality headphone set.
Cons: I sometimes forget that I have the mute switch on, flashing indicator light that's halfway down the chord isn't easily noticed. Shoulda put it right into the mouthpiece, flashes when you're muted and is off when you're live.
Other Thoughts: Great quality, would buy again.
