One of the headset and headphones I have used, and its comparable to studio type monitors. Really great sound quality, very strong and full bass (ALMOST too much, but you can change the EQ to your liking, but I LOVE the bumpin :] ) along with providing great details in the highs and mids.
For games, the positional audio is very good and I can tell where enemies are coming from and hear footsteps vividly.
Comfort
The headset is very comfortable around the ears. I have a medium sized head and larger ears, but they feel great even after extended use. Super comfy leathery padding feels nice.
Ease of use and Features
They are collapsable so that they lay flat, its a nice touch.
Good number of connectors. Gold plated cable tips may make a tiny difference in quality. Maybe. A for effort.
Simple plug and play, no sound / usb driver stuff to mess around with, and they still retained great sound quality.
Cons: Durability
Very light weight. Its good in that it helps for long term use, but I am going to definitely remember to be careful when handling them since it seems like they could break.
Not really a con for most lone gamers :p - They kinda look silly in the mirror, but they definitely look sick sitting on my desk.
Microphone
Positional microphone adjustments are made by bending the rubbery material the communicator is made out of. It wobbles when you move your head, so it could distort transmission or cause the computer to transmit if you aren't using PTT.
Other Thoughts: Haven't fully tested the microphone over VoIP programs yet. Will update review when I do.
Overall, a great headset with awesome quality. I just hope it lasts me a long time.

Pros: I purchased these after much consideration and I must admit I was quite worried about the comments that it took a lot of tweaking, etc to get the sound correct. I received these several days ago and I am absolutely thrilled. The sound quality out of the box blows my Sennheiser headphones out of the water. They have perfect thumping bass that isn't diluted, crisp high tones, clear mids, and great output/directional sound. The swiveling ear cups and sturdy design make this headset extremely comfortable and I can guarantee you that this headset will hold up for quite some time. The mic clarity is superb from what people tell me and they are unable to hear music/game sounds while I'm using my mic, even at high volumes. In testing with Call of Duty 4, Counter Strike : Source, Men of War, and Company of Heroes, the headset handled all sounds thrown at it perfectly. Footsteps were very audible in the FPS games and I could easily identify where enemies were coming from. Great design.
Cons: The microphone boom is a little floppy. It's far from serious and isn't terribly annoying, but if you shake your head the mic continues to wobble for several seconds.
Other Thoughts: I have not found a headset that surpasses the quality of the Fatal1ty MkII before and have certainly not a headset that can match this one at a comparable price. I highly recommend this headset as a competitive league gamer and music aficionado.

Pros: Heard Dead Silence in CoD4
Cons: After a week or so the padding on the top headband that kept your head from hurting broke down. Now it's just a plastic bar squeezing my head. NOT FUN! Especially in 2+ hour gaming runs.....

Pros: Awesome bass because the big drivers. FPSs like MW2 and L4D are so much more inclusive because gun fire sounds real now. Comfortable 4+ hours gaming run Plays music well

Other Thoughts: head band part is to tall to wear my hood up but that is nothing to do with this head set BUY IT!

Pros: The clarity of sound is terrific! I play everything from Aion Online, WoW, shooters like L4D, Fallout 3 & ME2, name it I played it, & I'm completely amazed every time I put these on and hear the games come alive. Players on Ventrilo also sound great through these. Mic audio fidelity is also very high quality.
Cons: The headband portion of this headset hurts a little when I'm playing hours at a time, "pressure pain " but I simply expand it and that fixes that issue but having to do it sometimes becomes a chore. Not really the biggest of deals but still a con.
Other Thoughts: Wish they kept the mic design of the first professional generation mic boom that stayed where u placed it but as far as the feed capability of mic audio. However, this mic on the new Fatal1ty is better.
