3 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Headset Mic is about lacking though

Pros: Great headset for the price, decent sound and mic quality. Very good choice if you're looking to save money

Cons: Microphone is kind of weird after 7 months the cable has to be at a certain angle for the microphone to work which is why I docked two eggs.

5 out of 5 eggscouldn't ask for more

Pros: This headset sounds great and is amazingly comfortable. They do seem to favor bass a bit and have a warm sound (not extremely sharp). However, I prefer the warm sound over something with a real crisp sound that makes everything sound harsh. I have gamed with these on for about 4 hours straight without feeling any discomfort. A few times I have gotten up only to realize I was still wearing them. Though I have never used the mic myself, I have heard sound tests done with the mic and they sounded perfectly fine. In the tests I listened to the mic didn't sound like a professional recording, but was much better than most gaming headset mics I have heard. Also, they are very well priced.

Cons: None that I have found.

5 out of 5 eggs2 and 1/2 years later.

Pros: This headset has lasted 2 1/2 years with zero problems. It has been jerked out of the PC, off tables and still works great!

Cons: There are much better sounding headsets out there at a much higher price.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset on 9/10/2012 from Newegg (looked up order history). For the price and quality this headset cannot be beat!

5 out of 5 eggsGreart headphones

Pros: Great sound and fit.
I have been looking for a set of headphones that feel good on the ears and head. This set feels great and they are light. The ear muffs fit great around the ears and the sounds just rocks coming out of them.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Great sets of headphones for the price, after testing them out I had to order 4 more for the rest of the family.

5 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck.

Pros: I've had two separate sets of this headset, and I must say the first time entry was a bit high (upwards of $60 back in early 2000's) but now that its in the ballpark of $25-$30 its an exceptional steal for the price.

Pros include:
-Strong, robust sound.
-Powerful bass.
-Detection of even subtle sound-stage nuisances.
-Excellent gaming headset, has saved me countless times in CounterStrike, due to hearing a reloading magazine/footfalls.
-Detachable mic is really quite handy, just don't lose it!

Cons: Not many cons for such a robust headset for such a cheap price.

My one complaint is, that this headset can ride a little tight for those with a big melon, so please be advised.

Other Thoughts: Buy this set if you don't want to pay top dollar but want a set that doesn't feel like its made from the absolute cheapest plastic imaginable or if you need a headset in a hurry.

5 out of 5 eggsSo comfortable!

Pros: Really, really comfortable. Could wear these things all day. Detachable mic if it ever gets in the way and volume control that can turn on or off the mic.

Cons: Not loud at all! You may struggle to hear videos that have low volume, be warned!

Other Thoughts: Really, really good headset. If they pumped up the volume on these things, there wouldn't be any competition.

4 out of 5 eggsThe best budget headset I've ever owned.

Pros: I just got a new pair of these in the mail a few hours ago. My old one died. That sounds like a con, but it took them somewhere around 4-5 years to kick the bucket. These things have a huge life span if you treat them right. Sound quality is really good for the price, and unlike many other headphones these ones go around your ears so you don't get that "head in a vice" feeling like you do with a lot of other cheap headsets.

Microphone can be removed completely if you don't need it, but if you do need it the quality isn't bad at all.

Cons: None really. You can't complain when a pair lasts for almost 5 years, but I will say something in the Other Thoughts regarding this.

Other Thoughts: I mentioned earlier that my old pair finally died; I should count my lucky stars that the headset lasted as long as it did (most headsets won't make it past 1 year), but the reason my first pair died annoyed me a bit.

For some reason the wire right under the control switch box had bent so much that it eventually split and exposed the inner wiring. I would recommend that anyone who wants to make their set last forever take extra care not to bend the wires around where they meet up with going into a hard spot (the headphones themselves, the switch box). It's the best place to reinforce them.

4 out of 5 eggsI don't understand the Negatives.

Pros: Sound quality is pretty great. They are comfortable as well even with glasses on. The opposite of some of the reviews I'm seeing about the set being to tight

The cord is pretty long, however it never tends to be a problem or get in the way. In fact the long cord is somewhat of a Pro. You can almost go anywhere in a smaller room without having to take them off.

Cons: Honestly I cannot think of many cons, if any at all. If you are in need of an inexpensive pair of headphones with great sound quality these are your headphones. The only thing I can think of is if you are hot-natured, they may make your ears warm.

Other Thoughts: Short and to the point, they are cheap, great sound, and good quality. I've dropped and yanked this headset and it still looks great and works even better. All the reviews of it being garbage quality I feel like they are either purposefully destroying their products or lying, because I've had mine for a year now and they still look new minus animal hair getting on the earmuffs because they are velvet.

2 out of 5 eggsVery tight fit

Pros: Good sound. Cheap. Sturdy. Nice colors

Cons: Way too tight. Very painful strong pressure around ears. Couldn't wear for more than 5 minutes without feeling like my ear area was going to start bleeding.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet for the Price

Pros: Fits a Huge Head, Mic is removable, no drivers needed, adjustable volume and mic controls

Cons: Not Usb, no real bass and has a max volume limit

Other Thoughts: Great for gaming, and I hate my music too loud so the volume limit doesn't bother me, so i gave it 5 eggs.
