5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great sound, long cord, comfortable for awhile (see cons), interesting use of microphone/detachment.

Cons: They get a little warm after awhile, cloth and all.. but other than that, they're comfortable. I wish the cord was on the opposite side but that's more a setup preference and not really a con.

2 out of 5 eggsLeft Ear Dead After Only 9 Months

Pros: I paid $22.99 for it. It's not ugly. It's really comfortable to wear. The mic sounds pretty good. The audio was decent.

Cons: It's $10 more expensive now. I bought this on December 1, 2014 and now the sound has completely cut out of the left ear. It started a couple weeks ago, just cutting out and I was able to sort of pinch the cable in a certain spot until the sound came back in. I'm giving this 2 eggs because this headset is practically unusable after only 9 months of usage. I didn't even use it every single day either. I'm considering looking at some wireless headsets. One thing that also irritated me about this headset very badly was the cable itself. It became extremely twisted up by itself and unmanageable for no reason. A threaded cable would have been MUCH preferred like you find on a lot of gaming mice.

Other Thoughts: Buy this if you're on a super tight budget. You probably won't be unsatisfied with the sound or mic quality. Just be prepared for the left ear's sound to cut out, sooner or later. I wonder if I could at least get a replacement. Sigh.....

2 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Great sound, great mic it was all really nice and crystal clear.
I have no problems when the headset is working.

Cons: Yhis set is ALMOST everything I wanted but it really isn't I use it a mediocre amount maybe 1-2 hours a day. But I've had 2 sets now.

The first lasted me around 2 months before no sound came out of the headphones mic still worked perfect. Then after around 3 weeks of convincing Newegg to honor my warranty. The new set came in and I was happy again. Only thing was that this new set only lasted me a month before the same problem happened to it.

It's almost like this headset was built to last a month before it died.

If you're looking for something to game in (or even use on a casual basis) DON'T BUY THIS THING. If you're looking for something use every once in a while you skype you girlfriend or to jerk it to without waking the neighbors up then this headset might be for you.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money

Pros: Decent sound quality for the money, people can hear me okay, inline volume controls aren't too fussy, and the cord is decently long enough.

The mic is removable, which is nice if you primarily want to use it for music and movies and don't want the mic in your face.

Cons: Because the mic is removable, it can be easy to misplace. The outside of the connector is keyed and it can be hard to reinsert without taking off the headset.

The little foam pad on the end of the mic doesn't want to stay attached. I usually find it a few days later but if I had cats I'm sure I would have never seen it again.

After 9 months of use, the inline volume control is beginning to develop issues. If I bump into it, I get some static and the left channel drops out for a bit. It works fine otherwise, but I feel this is a sign of things to come.

4 out of 5 eggsWeak cord

Pros: -Very comfortable
-Nice Sound

Cons: Flimsey audio cables that get caught/tangled/pulled easily. After two years mine is starting to have audio issues due to constantly getting yanked around.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat! Um...

Pros: Great sound (for general use), easy to adjust, detachable microphone, attractive, lightweight, good price

Cons: Not for people with large ears, fabric covers on ear pads, won't work if your wife destroys them with a vacuum cleaner :(

Other Thoughts: These aren't professional audio equipment, but worked quite well, the stereo was clear enough to resemble surround or positional audio. The ear pads are fabric covered; cushy enough but will be difficult to clean. The cord is relatively long and thin, has volume control and mic mute inline. Beware of wives armed with upright vacuums; mine killed the headset and destroyed the audio/mic jacks on a 9 month old computer case...

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Decent sound, a little heavy in mid-bass which is typical of creative products. Very comfortable and excellent isolation. works fine without headphone amp in my tablet

Cons: feel a little cheap - but they have yet to break -

Other Thoughts: i got these for a huge discount - and it was hard to pass up. I got them on shell-shocker which absolutely makes them worth it, this is a tough price range with lots of competition

Pros: Inexpensive.
Good sound quality.
Detachable mic.

Cons: In-line mute is wonky. sometimes when I put it on mute, people tell me they can hear the game sounds coming through.

3 out of 5 eggsMake sure it doesn't tangle.

Pros: Sounds good, a lot of volume control, mic is clear and high quality.

Cons: Cord very likely to tangle and isn't very durable, mine ripped off while I was trying to untangle it. Mic isn't fixed to it so it can be lost if you're not careful.
