4 out of 5 eggs2 years later

Pros: Great sound, great fitting. No problems for the first while of use.

Cons: just shy of 2 years in and started to notice problems with the mike dieing off after about an hour of use fixed that when it happened by replugging it to reset the drivers. Now after 2 years of using it its dead in the water not sure if a cord broke in the usb line or if the whole headset died. (I don't feel like striping the cord to find out.) Its dead and out of warranty.

1 out of 5 eggsAWFUL Headset and Support

Pros: It would be a really nice headset if it was made to last more than a month. Sound is great, very comfortable for long periods of time, and cool design.

Cons: Awfully cheap materials used. USB port on headset started malfunctioning and a piece broke off from the left side ear. Creative Labs support kept giving me the runaround. I finally got tired and took my frustrations out on the poor headset. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy any Creative Labs headset.

Other Thoughts: I bought the wired because i hate wireless and the hassle of batteries. Though I think I would've been better off with the wireless for this. So if you still want a cool headset, then buy the wireless edition of this one. If it wasn't for the cheap plastic and faulty connector, I would've loved this headset.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasted.

Pros: Good sound. They fit really snug, so the ambient sound isn't even an issue at all. They looks real nice.

Cons: Broke by the second month of use. The sound turns off every now and then (i'm guess it's the usb connection on the headset). A piece broke off just from repetitive use. I would save my money, these won't last you more than a few months.

Other Thoughts: Their customer service has to be one of the worst. I e-mailed and they are basically giving me the run-around. Hopefully i get a replacement soon, but i'm beginning to doubt it.

2 out of 5 eggsOnly lasted a little over 2 months.

Pros: Very nice and snug fit. Sound is great and since it's a snug fit, not much noise comes from the environment.

Cons: As others have pointed it, it is cheaply made. It started turning off on me a couple of weeks ago. I had to unplug it and plug it back in. It has become more frequent now. Also, a piece already broke off. All in all, not really worth the money.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't mind the broken part, but the excessive amount of times it has been turning off on me lately is really annoying.

1 out of 5 eggsFailure

Pros: Sound pretty good.

Cons: Cheap plastic-left side snaped just putting them on my head. Will see if they Creative will fix them-been sitting takeing up space for a couple of months. Would never buy this brand again.

4 out of 5 eggssound is amazing

Pros: The sound is crisp clear with deep resonating bass and amazing virtual surround sound top notch headphones for gaming at a great price. Also very comfortable and sturdy when on your head fits snug.

Cons: seems a little flimsy but haven't had any breakages yet knock on wood. Also had an issue with the mic making my voice sound robotic but they have a firmware download that supposedly takes care of it and I haven't had it happen again so far though its only been a day since I installed it

2 out of 5 eggsWonderful while they lasted

Pros: Wonderful sound quality. Voices came through just fine, and the audio quality was great for both music and gaming. Did a good job of keeping sound contained and not disrupting others. The mic seemed to work great according to others in Skype.

Cons: These things are extremely frail. I received mine as a Christmas present almost (but not quite) a year ago. I've absolutely loved them. (Especially since the downstairs neighbor is apparently extra sensitive to bass, thus making great headphones a necessity) I've always made sure to take the best care of them, be it carting them to/from work or lan parties. Needless to say, I take care of what I own.

Apparently this was not enough to keep them from snapping. =( No warning signs or sounds. Just tonight I went to put them on, and both the left and right ends snapped with only wires holding the ear pieces to the band.

Other Thoughts: I would really love to give this headset a higher score. Hell until today I would have given it a 5. Unfortunately, this headset snapping problem happened not just to me, but a friend also who owned the same set. Read around and you'll notice most (if not nearly all) reviews mentioning the exact same problem.

With this headset it's not a case of if they'll break, but when. Thus as much as I would absolutely love to buy a replacement set, my money will have to go elsewhere. =\

5 out of 5 eggsA great addition to a WoW player, and others!

Pros: Cushioning is a great feature
Surround sound effects and drivers that come with the set are very nice.
Communication is clear using ventrilo, mic is works well also.
Great for listening to music!
Sound and music in Warcraft becomes much clearer.
Lights are a neat effect

Cons: Very large
Headset interface is a little difficult to work with at times, can slow down fps in games.
High pricetag, coupled with expensive light covers purchased separately.
Volume buttons somewhat difficult to find at first

Other Thoughts: Having had this set since last December, and having played World of Warcraft in between that time and many years prior I can say that this headset certainly added to the experience of the game. Additionally listening to music with this set has been quite a pleasure, and the range of sound is extensive!

2 out of 5 eggsExcellent sound, cheaply made

Pros: Sound is very good.

Cons: Shoddy plastic snapped after several months of gentle use.

Other Thoughts: The only bending I did with these headphones was the bare minimum to place it around my ears. After about 9 months of use the right ear piece snapped off. Plastic doesn't feel cheap, but evidently this is a widespread problem. I would suggest looking elsewhere for your audio needs.
