1 out of 5 eggsGreat but didn't last

Pros: Great Sound.
Comfortable.
Good enough range on wireless.
Solid Battery (so far).

Cons: 1 earpiece broke from the headband after 9 months. Now it just dangles by the cord.

Other Thoughts: Couldn't have been happier w/ it until just today, they'd been great. But I was simply lifting the earpieces away from each other to put the headset over my ears and one snapped, as simple as that.
The band itself is pretty heavy-duty, a solid metal band, but they have weak little plastic sockets they screw into. This is where they snapped. They don't see particularly heavy usage, I don't ever cram them into a backpack or anything like that.

2 out of 5 eggsAlright while it lasted.

Pros: Sound quality is pretty good.
Mute function and volume control on headset is nice.
Software was useful.
Wireless.
Battery lasts a long time.
LEDs are cool.

Cons: Microphone input was always very low for me and couldn't be raised.
You cannot hear yourself speak when using these, which causes you to talk louder.
Microphone stopped working after 6 months.
Headset can be painful on your ears after hours of use.
The wireless receiver sticks out very far from your PC, which can be hazardous if someone bumps into it.
Not enough quality for the price.
If you mute yourself, you have to take the headset off to check if you're still muted.

Other Thoughts: These weren't too bad while they lasted, but after 6 months of basic usage, the microphone will no longer pick up any sort of input. The range of the wireless is pretty decent, but don't expect to be able to leave the room and still speak to anyone.

When I was first starting to use this headset, the people I was speaking to would always tell me that I sounded really quiet, even though my outbound microphone volume was all the way up. (Perhaps there was a technical problem from the start?) Also, the earpieces would begin to hurt after several hours of use.

The battery life on this headset is pretty great though, and there is a slight 'beep' when the battery is about to die. The wire for recharging the battery isn't too long, but it was long enough for me.

For the price, these are definitely not worth it.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Incoming sound quality is superb and it's very comfortable.

Cons: Despite how big, bulky and unbreakable it bills itself as, the earpieces can still snap of incredibly easy. On top of that, the signal between the dongle and the headset itself is pitifully small and spotty at best. I've owned two of these and neither of them impressed me greatly. On top of all of that, the microphone quality is outdone by a 5 dollar clip on mic. Pathetic.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound, comfortable, and fast charging.

Cons: Could not adjust mic dB Boost in Windows or provided software. Connection sometimes is lost. So tonight I removed my headset like any other day, and the left earphone snapped at the plastic. Stay away from this headset. I paid $150 for them. Creative definitely lost a customer. Believe the reviews when you read them.

Other Thoughts: Sigh, was a good headset, but cheap plastic parts snapped just like the majority who have had issues with this headset in the past. Stay away.

2 out of 5 eggsdisappointing.

Pros: sound quality is excellent
more comfortable than my old g930

Cons: The signal cuts in and out a lot. I live in an apartment, so there's probably all sorts of interference, but i shouldn't lose signal when i simply bend down at my desk(my old Logitech g930 rarely had signal issues). I pulled the foam mic cover off detaching the mic, now the foam cover always falls off and clan-mates report more background noise than i used to have.

Other Thoughts: Would really like to be able to see the battery level from the windows program while in use. my logitech g930 has a meter I can look at before I finish using the computer so I know whether or not I should charge it. I'm still cautious of battery memories.

1 out of 5 eggsEarpiece Will Break!

Pros: Headset performed as expected for the first 6 months

Cons: Like everyone else is saying, the earpieces break off. There are cheap plastic connectors above the base that are clearly not structurally capable of handling the tension of a headset. I won't buy another item from this company again -- that upset about this. If you shell out over $100 dollars for a headset you expect it to work for more than 6 months. Creative should take action about this if they want to have any future customers.

Other Thoughts: Mad bro.

2 out of 5 eggsLittle over a year and SNAP!!!

Pros: Great audio, range, and battery life! Loved this head set........

Cons: I treated these things like gold! I just came in and picked them up and SNAP the red bracket on one of the ear cups snapped! This happened on 11/1/13, I purchased them on 8/27/12. Just went out of warranty and they snapped! Would have given 1 egg if the sound and feel wasen't so amazing! I'm going to have to go back to corded again, these headsets cost way to much to be replacing every year. I'm super bummed! I'm going to try and super glue them back together. Durability isn't good! Just got brittle over time, I would look for a better quality set. pay attention to where the brackets mount to the ear cups!!!!!

Other Thoughts: What happened to quality warranties?

1 out of 5 eggsNot Bad While

Pros: Wireless Range is good. Noise canceling is good.

Cons: Cheap Plastic construction. Ear piece broke off after 6 months. I took care of this headset. It was not abused, thrown around etc. then tonight i pick it up to put it on and the right ear piece breaks clean off. Cheap plastic at the attach points. For the 149.99 I paid for them it would expect more

Other Thoughts: Took a chance on this after reading some negative reviews due to past great experiences with creative products......Never again

2 out of 5 eggsLasted 1 Yr

Pros: Great 50mmm Sound...when it worked.

Cons: Broke after 1 yr of every other day use. Both Cups snapped from the base. I epoxied back into place, 1 month later the sound started cutting in and out. Now it pops on the receiving end making them unplayable. I really would like some money back on these to pay for th EVO WIREDseries headphones....
